“The Iron Ceiling” – Peggy is finally trusted with a mission and calls upon her trusted Howling Commandos squad for backup. But her cover could be at risk when SSR Chief Dooley also sends Agent Thompson with her, on “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa, and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley.

Recap:
Russia, 1937. Young girls handcuffed to beds. They're let out in the morning. Then they watch Snow White. Then do fight training. The girls spar with force. And even kill.
Dotty was dreaming.
She tells Peggy that Angie refused to work today. Too much ennui. She wants a tour of the city. Peggy is distracted. She tears up Jarvis's card. She tells Dotty to start with real New York, not tourist traps. The spirit of Lady Liberty is found in the citizens she watches over. Dotty knocks Peggy's purse on the floor and steals something. Peggy's keys.
Peggy and Jarvis meet at the newstand. She's still unhappy with him and Howard. Howard can be thoughtless, vain, inconsiderate. But he's a good man. He needs your help. She says he already has a servant in you. He says your colleagues don't respect you. Do you expect them to change their minds. She says she will make them.
In SSR, everyone's buzzing over the typewriter turning on. Peggy asks to see the code. They're map coordinates. She translates. April 27th. 2 days from now. Require Havoc reactor. Leviathan, the covert Russian organization. Payment of 100,000 dollars American on delivery, payable to Howard Stark. She tells the Chief she's going to Russia.
Thompson argues her going. Peggy says the team needs a codebreaker. Thompson says I need brawn. She says you need someone who speaks Russian. She knows Belarus. Chief says I send you, and there's no win. She says no one knows Russia like I do, like the 107th Regiment does. Chief tells Thompson he doesn't have time for your little crush on Carter. Yes, sir. Peggy called the 107th. They'll meet us at the border.
Peggy needs to change and there's only a men's locker room. She enters with Thompson. Do you think that's a good idea, Jack? She and Thompson bicker. Sousa comes in with a report. Thompson asks Sousa to get a compass from a locker, and sees Peggy undressed. And the wound on her shoulder.
In the plane. Peggy tells Thompson to relax. It's his first night jump. It's go time. They jump. Land and hide their chutes. He tells Peggy to stay in back. They run into the Commandos. Dum Dum forgot the password again. The agents are impressed. Dugan says we go into Russia through Lithuania. Peggy, let's go. She sits in the truck with Dugan. And brought bourbon for him. They share a drink. So, what's the story with Stark? SSR is convinced he's selling weapons. She says he's an utter wanker, but he's ours. So it's a trap. What does Leviathan really want? And they miss Cap.
Chief at the office. Says goodnight to Sousa. Who reads Peggy's file. Then compares scars with the photographed blonde. Same gunshot wound on the back of the shoulder.
Campfire. Stopping for rest. Sharing stories. Yetis, mermaids... Thompson doesn't want to share. What about your Navy Cross? 1945, he falls asleep on a night shift. Wakes up to 6 Japanese soldiers walking into camp. One slits the throat of my CO. He shot them all. Before they knew he was there, before the last man was awake.
Chief having a drink with a friend. Hey, it's John! Chatting about Finhau. He's a reporter. Wrote about it and the editor killed the story. Stark was there to clean up the massacre. General didn't like him. Stark took a swing at him. McGinnis wiped the floor with him and resigned. Then Stark cut ties with the Army. And now Stark is public enemy #1. But you don't have the whole story and someone isn't sharing.
Group arrives. Teams of two and no weapons discharged. She says 2 teams of 4 is faster and safer. Thompson goes with it. They enter the facility. Peggy with Dugan and 2 others. Find the school room. Anyone else feel a chill? The movie projector turns on. Peggy runs it slow. Hidden messages. They hear a child. Go into the bunk room. Why are there shackles on the beds? A girl is crying. Dugan asks if she's okay. We're here to help, not hurt you. She likes his hat. He says they call it a bowler hat. Turns to Peggy. And then the girl stabs him.
Girl steals a gun and fires. Peggy tells Dugan she's just a little girl. They lost a man. Dugan takes his dog tags. We need a back exit. Peggy gives orders.
Chief confronts Jarvis. Something I need to tell you. Your boss has a lot of enemies. An Army general. McGinnis? Ring a bell? Jarvis says you're here to tell me something. Chief says it's my one and only question. Jarvis says he doesn't know anything. Chief says tell Stark he's just interested in the truth and if Stark wants to tell his side, I'll listen.
Thompson and Peggy search. Find prisoners.
Dotty breaks into Peggy's apartment. Starts looking around through all of Peggy's things. Finds a compartment with a hidden jewelry box. The Stark photos. She looks at them, then puts them back. Looks at the photo of skinny Steve. Practices Peggy's accent. Smells her lipstick. Then she leaves.
Peggy asks the Russians why Leviathan is holding them. An engineer and his psychiatrist. Leviathan doesn't know how to build the weapon. The man is a genius and the therapist provides stability and discipline. Is Howard Stark here? No, of course not. They stole the schematics. Incoming! Back away. They get the prisoners out and run. Dugan, we're in the boiler room, we need an exit. Another dies. The child comes in and shoots. The engineer takes a hostage. Peggy says this isn't the answer. The therapist tries talking to him. Peggy says you will die if you kill our friend. And more shooting. Thompson freezes. Peggy keeps trying to reach Dugan on the radio. They blow a hole in the wall. Everybody out! She yells at Thompson. Goes to him and says snap out of it. Peggy and Dugan the last inside. She's last in the truck. Go, go, go! Not bad, for a girl. She says I hate you all.

Dugan tells Thompson good luck. Then asks Peggy if she's sure she wants to go on that plane. She does. She hugs him. He suggest Miss Union Jack as her nickname. Dugan gives the doc the bourbon. He says it's terrible....might I have the rest? Bye, bye bourbon.
On the plane. Peggy asks Jack if he's alright. Yeah. You saved a lot of necks back there, including mine. She says everybody freezes sometimes. He says the soldiers were carrying a white flag. They were coming to surrender. I didn't realize it until it was too late. I buried the flag before anyone else saw it. Everybody thinks I'm this guy I never was and every day it gets harder and harder to live with. I've been trying to tell that story since I came home from war. She says you just did.
The Griffith. Dotty handcuffs herself to sleep in bed. Wow.
SSR. Agent Li died honorably. Jack says it's his responsibility to tell the family. Chief says, but.. No Stark, no Leviathan. No sir. But Agent Carter got intel from the doctor. Jack says smart money says the blueprints came from Stark himself. Chief congratulates Peggy. "Good work." Send the doc in. She asks Sousa why he looks like he hasn't slept in 2 days. Worrying about you guys. Jack offers to buy drinks. Sousa declines. Peggy accepts. She says goodnight. Sousa looks at the photo again.
Next ep - Peggy Carter is now a fugitive. Sousa tries to arrest her.
