GHOSTLY CONNECTION — A ghost starts killing people through various electronic devices. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover who was killed and why this ghost is seeking revenge on a group of college students but what they can’t figure out is how he’s doing it. Recap:
Teens following GPS to Taco Town. Except it led them to a closed bridge. The GPS tells Janet to get out of the truck now! The boy is locked in and the truck speeds onto the bridge to fall.
Dean eating a cookie/croissant hybrid. Sam says Cain might be in Illinois. Dean says if Cain knew how to remove the Mark, he would've done it centuries ago. He points out a case instead.
Park at a college. They find Janet. Dean keeps checking out the college girls. Janet tells them about the truck. She swears the truck was hell bent on killing Billy. His brother Joey died in Afghanistan. Dean asks if Billy had anything of Joey's. The truck was. Her phone rings.
They break into the junkyard. Find the truck. Ectoplasm. They salt and burn it.
Sorority house. One girl is going to study. The other doesn't want to study. You mean you don't need to because you're screwing the TA. Blonde girl takes a selfie and posts it. She gets a PM on Facebook. It says you lied about 810. I know. She deletes the conversation. And can't get rid of it. The room goes cold. 810 keeps showing on her laptop. She gets locked in her room. Cable wraps around her throat and strangles her.
Sam and Dean get to the house. Officer tells them about the case. The roommate gave us Julie's passwords. Dean brings out the EMF reader. Machine-related kills. Ghost in the machine? Yeah, but how is this one jumping machines?
They talk with Delilah, the roommate. Billy was the president of the biggest frat on campus. Did Julie have enemies? No. She was really popular, and sweet. Dean says lying to us is a big offense. She says she's not lying. There's nothing else to tell.
Dean filled a tray with food at the cafeteria. He pigs out. Sam reads Julie's chat from the time of death. What's 810? Date, or time, or area code.....or an address. Dean wants to take the food to go. PrincessElsa8 is an 8th grader that was fast asleep at the time. She was hacked. They stop at 810 Downs Drive, and follow a walking woman. She puts flowers left in a garbage bag. Sam asks what she's doing. Throwing away dead flowers. Except they're not dead. She says her husband was killed there 9 months ago, and newlyweds. The reminder is painful. Sam asks if she noticed anything weird after his death. Some teenage girl leaves the flowers. Has long red hair.
Dean eating again. Sam read up on the dead husband. Body burned beyond recognition and dead on impact. He was cremated. Are you going to eat all that? LOL.
The roommate with a guy. She wants to come clean. This is karma. Maybe we're cursed. He says it's a coincidence, not a curse. Tells her to keep her mouth shut. She leaves. He gets a chat request on his phone. Then a knock. No one there. Door closes. Phone rings. Time says 8:10. Music turns louder and louder. The large speakers are so loud, the kid's eyes pop and he bleeds from the head. Sound wave murder.
Sam talks with Delilah. Dean comes in and says death by decibel. And we have 810 again. Tells us what happened the night of the accident. Delilah says I'm next. It wasn't an accident.
The kids in a truck. They're all on their phones instead of paying attention. The incoming car swerves and runs into the pole. Then the car sparks up from a downed line. Billy speeds away. He's driving on a suspended license from a DUI. Delilah wants to call the cops, but the other 3 talked her out of it.
She knows it was wrong. Sam and Dean says it's a ghost. They're real. So you're Ghosbusters? Sure. Stay inside this salt circle while we take care of the ghost. Sam says with Andrew, it's different. We need to figure out how he's traveling. Dean says maybe the power lines. Works, except for the pick-up. Sam leaves. Dean stays. Hands her a box of tissues.
They're waiting quite a while. Delilah says she stays up studying to avoid the nightmares. She thinks about Andrew all the time and never met the guy.
Sam at the pole. He looks up at the lines.
Dean tells Delilah he can relate about obsessing. I've made mistakes that haunt me. How do you deal? Whiskey. Denial. I do my best to make things right. For you, maybe it's coming clean. Asking for forgiveness. Real forgiveness. Can't bury stuff like this. Gotta deal with it. Phone rings. Dean answers. Sam says Andrew is using WiFi. His electrical impulses moved to a different current. You have to get Delilah somewhere with no power on.
Dean asks her where the routers are. No idea. Lights and stuff go on the fritz, the room gets cold, and the dead guy shows up on the monitors. Delilah screams.
Dean smashes the monitors. Turn off all the WiFi stuff. He smashes her phone.
Sam knocks at the widow's. It's my husband, isn't it? Come in.
Dean takes Delilah out. She says the basement has crappy reception. They run down through the house. Dean salts the doorway. And the window.
Widow tells Sam that Andrew started contacting her online after the accident. She didn't believe at first. But he knew things only he and I would know. Did you ask him what he was? She says he was a ghost or something, but I didn't care, he was my husband. It was romantic, even. Then he started acting strange. He'd disappear, then e-mail again, and different. Focused. On revenge. When the kids started dying, she thought it might be him, but the cops would never believe it. And she didn't want to face the truth. If I tried to stop him, he might go away, and I didn't want to lose my husband again.
Buzzing in the basement. A phone. Dean searches for it. Ghost appears. Delilah pleads with him. Dean hits the ghost with iron. The door is locked. Dean talks to Andrew. The more you kill, the crazier you'll get! He texts Sam. Tells Andrew you can become something you don't recognize, or move on and gain peace. It's up to you, man - pain or peace. Andrew tosses Dean, then grabs his throat. Widow video calls Andrew and tells him to stop. Revenge won't bring you back. I couldn't let go earlier, but it's time. For both of us to let go. She begs him. Andrew releases Dean. Please, do this for me, for us. Goodbye. Andrew disappears in white light.
810 Downs Drive. Sam and Dean drive Delilah here. She knocks. Widow invites her in. Dean says he's going to choose peace, too. Helping people, working case. It's all I want to do. Done trying to find a cure, Sammy. But Cas is so close. To what? We have nothing. Sam says nothing is guaranteed. Can't stop fighting. Yes we can. So you're giving up. No. The answer is with me. I need to call the shots. I gotta know where I stand or I'll lose my freakin' mind. I'll fight it until I can't fight it anymore, and go down swinging.
Next ep - Dean vs Cain. Cain gets the Blade.
