Episode 5:
Peggy gets wakened by Wilkes. Can you come to the lab? He wanted her to see the tissue sample. The zero matter inside is drawn to him. It goes into him and he's briefly corporeal. Now he knows where Jane Scott's body is. Peggy called Rose. Jarvis says Stark has a woodie. Peggy says we're stealing the body.
Nurse comes home and the door is unlocked. Dinner on the table. She hears a snore. He's on the sofa under a throw. She turns the light on. He wakes. Thought it'd be nice to surprise you. She says Regina called in sick. Sousa looks for the ring box. She offers to help. LOL. He says you're wonderful. I met you and you were so....mean. And lovely. Physical therapy she did with him. He admits he can't find the ring. She says let's find it. So, yes? Yes! She kisses him. Awwwwww.
Chadwick sitting awake while Whitney talks in her sleep. He gets out of bed. Grabs clothes and she's behind him. I need your help.
Peggy gets into the vent to go steal the body. Gets Jarvis in with her. He says it's freezing in here. LOL. She finds the room. Hear voices. Watch Whitney and Chadwick arrive. Whitney says open it. It called me here. It wants to be let out. Open it! He does. She touches the body. The zero matter goes into her. She says I need an atomic bomb.
Back to talk to Wilkes. He says Whitney is trying to replicate the previous test. We cannot let her do this. Roxxon manufactured the bombs for the Isodyne test. Jarvis says Stark has researched Roxxon's facilities. Howard's never gotten anyone inside the location. Super secure. Need a special key.
Whitney and Chadwick argue about getting a bomb. She says it'll work, Cal. Can you imagine what we can accomplish if we have the power to bend the world to our will? He asks how do you see us accomplishing this? She'll lean on her connections.
Peggy comes into the office. Boys are celebrating the engagement. Peggy congratulates him. Asks to speak for a moment. I need to sneak into Hugh Jones' office. Daniel says he'd remember you, Peg. But the guys in the lab are working on something new. They bring pie. Doc says we call it the memory inhibitor. There's a slight risk of brain damage. LOL.
Peggy goes in as a redhead. Snoops in the secretary's office. Mr. Jones asks her name. Hi, I'm Wanda. She's American. Accounting sent me to get a file. He says I have to go to lunch. When I get back, I'll send for you and we'll crunch some numbers. Heh.
He remembers her! She uses the memory device on him. She tells him he's running late for his lunch. He leaves.
Agent! He comes back. She flashy-things him again. And he passes out. She figures out he's wearing the key. He wakes. She flashes him. He wakes. She flashes him. He wakes. She does it again. Checks his belt buckle and finds the key inside. She flashes him one last time.
Secretary comes back. He wanders out partially dressed. Did you have a a nice lunch? He looks at himself - I must have! LOLOLOLOL.
Whitney and Cal visit Mr. Manfreddy. Hello, Joseph. Whitney's ex? She's offering him freeway construction contracts in exchange for discreet men that are good with their hands to move something. Joseph has more requests. He beats on a waiter for glancing at Whitney! Sorry, about that, he was being very inappropriate. Do we have a deal? Whitney says Deal.
Jarvis and Peggy planning. Sousa practicing diffusing the bombs. Takes very steady hands. Peggy knows one more person they can trust.
Rose. Daniel says we can't take her. Peggy says she's smart, resourceful, and I trust her with my life.
In the lab. Peggy brought back the memory device. Doc says he doesn't like people touching his stuff. Rose flirts with him. He really liked the pie. She says we need your equipment. He agrees. He says he's going with them. After the war, I had 11 job offers. I went with the SSR because I was told I could do field work. Sousa said that. Ooops. Fine, you're on the team.
Team leaves the office to "Pistol Packin' Mama". Jarvis hurries to get the car. LOL.
Car stops. Peggy says it's a solid plan. Rose and "hubby" say we're lost. Daniel and Jarvis think we're doomed. Scientist uses a device to electrocute the guards. The guards have very expensive shoes and watches. Hmmm.
Team in the elevator. Looks like Whitney has already arrived. Doc leads them to the utility closet. Doc unlocks all the doors.
Whitney says search every room.
Doc has movement in the next hallway. Rose says she's got this.
Rose confronts a guy and knocks him out.
Jarvis finds the bombs. Doc says someone's coming toward us. He works on locking the doors and he locks Jarvis in the room. Peggy tells Daniel to talk Jarvis through the procedure. She'll take care of their company. Uh oh.
Daniel tries to calm Jarvis. Then tells him to move the bomb from the crate.
Peggy fights with a goon.
Jarvis removing the screws. Opens the panel. Daniel tells him to put on the gloves and grab the tongs. Doc is not doing well. Rose tells him calm down, you got this.
Jarvis lifts the radioactive material out and places it in the case. Still another rod to take out.
Peggy knocks out the goon. Hears Whitney. Tells Daniel on the radio she's going after her.
Daniel says the bombs are our priority.
Peggy confronts Whitney and Cal. The SSR can help, fix you, if you let us. Whitney doesn't want to be fixed. Reaches for Peggy and Peggy punches her. Whitney thought that would hurt more.
Doc gets Jarvis out. Daniel tells Rose to get to the truck. If he's not back with Peggy in 10 minutes, leave without us.
Peggy and Whitney fight. Peggy is knocked through a railing. She hangs on by one hand. She falls. And is impaled by rebar! Daniel hurries to her. Cal gets Whitney to leave.
Peggy brought to Violet. Jarvis and Daniel carried her in. Violet starts giving instructions. Tells Daniel to go to the cupboard and get the old sheets. Violet says this would be better if you went to a hospital. Peggy says no.
Whitney tells Cal to talk to Hugh and ask for uranium. He says no. I will not put myself in another position where I may die! Because of you, I'm at the mercy of the Council. I'm not helping you anymore. You are out of control. She grabs his face. Watch your tone. Whoa.
Peggy patched up. Daniel talks to Rose on the phone. Uranium is secure. Peggy sits up. Daniel says please do not do that again. She says yes, Chief. Violet says the rebar missed anything vital. You need to rest. Jarvis helps her out. Daniel thanks Violet. She says you didn't tell me. You moved here for a fresh start, but you were running away from Peggy. Daniel says it's not what you think it is. She thinks he's in love with Peggy. Are you, Daniel?
Whitney in bed. Cal calls a number. Summons the Council for an emergency meeting.
Peggy in bed. Jarvis tucks her in. Fluffs her pillow. Finish your tea and get some rest. Butler's orders. He says these adventures are only enjoyable when you return from them. Wilkes asks her if it hurts? She says not as much as when Whitney touched her. He says the place zero matter comes from is painful. Dark. She turns on the radio. It's our song. Jason's pulled away.
Next week - 2 hours. Recruiting one enemy to fight the other.
