02/12/2016 (09:00PM - 10:00PM) (Friday) : AN ANCIENT WESEN RITUAL CLAIMS LIVES IN PORTLAND - JACQUELINE TOBONI AND DAMIEN PUCKLER GUEST STAR - A barbaric Wesen ritual is brought to the present and Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby), and Wu (Reggie Lee) are already five steps behind the serial killer. To aid in the investigation, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) goes undercover. Meanwhile, Hadrian's Wall's war against Black Claw intensifies as Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) uses her unique skills to interrogate a suspect. Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee also star. TV-14 V
Episode 9:
Nick's going below to the locked door.
Trubel in HW HQ. She found a guy. Goes to Meisner's room. Seems she found an assassin. Takes out all opponents to Black Claw. And now he's in Portland. Eve can't take him out until she knows who he is. Meisner says they have to find out where Nick and the others stand.
A man drags a cross. Falls down.
Nick beating on the locked door. Adalind calls for him. Open, yet? No. Trubel's here. He's coming up. After beating on the door a few more times.
Trubel holding the baby for the first time. And Kelly needs a diaper change. Trubel says we need help now. We need to know who we can count on. She leaves.
Man digging a hole. Where's my money? Wesen attacks him.
Drought conditions. Surveyors enter a barn. And find the man on the cross. Mirrors on his eyes?
Rosalee gets a call. From the letter man. She tells him to not contact her anymore. She's hanging up now. Monroe grabs the phone and yells at him. But Tony hung up. Knock on the door. Nick. Morning. Do you have a minute? Trubel came over. Wants to know if we're working with Hadrian's Wall. Monroe and Rosalee are hesitant. Nick wants to hear them out. Hank calls him about a body. Rosalee wants to know who HW really is before signing up.
Sean watching his commercial. The campaign woman in bed with him. She says he looks good on camera. Radiate authority. Gets people to trust you.
Nick arrives. Wu brings them into the barn. Surveyors called it in at 7:30am. Vic is Robert Lewis. Long history of homelessness. Triangle on the wood.
It's the symbol for water. Hank reading the history of it. Wu has more on Lewis. Nick doesn't get why the victim was chosen. And asks them about working with HW to fight Black Claw. They're willing to meet and talk more. Hank wonders if the vic is on the cross because no one would miss him.
Realtor showing a man around a property. They find another body on a cross!
Nick and Hank talk to a homeless man about Lewis. Robert was supposed to get $50 for a job. Wu calls about the new body. They go there. Body's been there a couple weeks. Got ourselves a serial killer.
Different symbol. It's a Celtic triskele. Both symbols mean water.
Trubel and Meisner hunting. Eve got one alive. Meisner says we'll take him with us.
Rosalee and Monroe recognize the ritual. A Wesen that's like an ox. This is a rain ritual. Monroe says it's ancient history. Why'd they stop? Grimms. Families were wiped out down to the last child. 1596 is the last recorded ritual. Rosalee can read the book. There are 7 deaths to form the Plow, whatever that means.
Second victim was from Bulgaria. Another homeless man. Wu found a lumber order. Columbia Lumber. They wouldn't give a customer name over the phone.
Nick and Hank visit Duncan at the lumberyard. He'll cooperate now he knows they're cops. Gives them an invoice. Mark Holloway. Please don't mention my name.
Out to the address. Young man is Johnathan. Mark is his dad. He's working on the tractor behind the barn. We're asking about a lumber purchase. 6x6x12. He says they were stolen. Nick shows him a photo of the crime. And he's an ox. You're a Grimm! He rushes Nick.
He says kill me, just don't hurt my family. Nick says he's not here to kill anyone. Kid asks why they're taking his dad, what did he do?
Interrogate him at the precinct. Mark insists he didn't do anything. It was only $300 of wood. it was delivered when I wasn't there. Hank says you see how this looks, don't you? Nick asks how do you explain this? Mark says a man came to the house representing a group of Wesen dedicated to the old ways. Donald something. Left a flyer. I threw it away. Nick shows him the claw symbol. It was on the flyer.
They update Sean. Hold Holloway for 72 hours. Sean says his great-great grandfather was a big believer in rituals and sacrifices. Think it got him burned at the stake. LOL.
Ox sets up another body.
Nick brushes his teeth. Telling Adalind about the case. She knows about the ritual. She says the Plow is Ursa Major. The Aztecs had a ritual formed around Orion's Belt. He asks how she knows these things? Home schooling. LOL.
Meisner with their prisoner. Leaves him for Trubel. And Eve. If you don't want to talk then you won't be needing your mouth. She seals it! And goes after his eyes, too. Sealed. And then his ears. Meisner asks how long he'll take? She says depends on how much info you want. Meisner wants all of it. Then we'll give him time with his thoughts.
Wu meets Nick and Hank. New body. It's fresh. Another rune. Nick says have Holloway released.
They go to the shop. Have you heard about Black Claw meetings? Monroe says no, but he can check into it. Will go and check one out if he can. Hank marks a map with the victims. They work on where to put the points of the stars.
Eve releases the man's ears. Would you like to see me? His eyes. Would you like to talk to us now? And his mouth. Meisner asks for a name. Man doesn't know. But he's a courier. Delivers messages. Why's he in Portland? Man doesn't know. Trubel asks who is the message for? Lucien Petrovich. Where is he? No one knows. He never stays anywhere more than one night. Meisner says make sure he tells all he knows.
Mark comes home and looks for his son. Who has a Black Claw flyer. He drives to the meeting. Enters late. Welcome to a new era, an era of change! An era where Wesen no longer have to live in the shadows. Speaker is a Blutbad. Monroe is there. Leaves. Mark finds his son. Drags him out. Men follow them.
Sean's office. 3 of 4 potential sites are out of our jurisdiction. Wu says sheriff found another body. Been there a while. Monroe calls. It's a recruiting center. Donald Jones is whipping them into a frenzy.
Mark drags Johnathan out. Kid pushes him away, wogues, and says he's not going. The men stand between them. Then attack Mark. Monroe intervenes. The men go back inside. Monroe helps Mark up. You okay? No. Kid goes back inside.
4th victim is another drifter. Hank gets a call about a body. At least 3 weeks ago. Nick takes a call. Number 6. Only one left at the end of the handle. Wu says nothing is at the cemetery, yet.
Ox prepares a body on a cross. Man is still alive. Cops racing to get there. Draw guns at the Wesen. He tries to go at the man and they shoot him. It's the lumberyard guy! Duncan Fargo. Man pleads to be let down. Poor man is so freaked. Wu tries to calm him as he helps him away. Hank calls for the coroner. They get back in the car. Nick says we'll write down what we can and go home. It starts raining..........They look at each other. Nick says don't go there. It's pouring.
Next week - Monroe gets hostile.
