"Principia" - The team goes in search of Gravitonium in order to help save the world, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," FRIDAY, MARCH 16 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

Episode 13:
A young man dosed. Alex. Doctor tells him to open up about the trauma that led him here. Father's abuse. Ward. SHIELD. Show improvement so they don't drug you to the point thoughts are hard to come by. April. April, your daughter, just turned 3. 6 weeks ago, it was raining. Your wife called and you answered after one ring. You stepped outside to talk. April had a fever. 103.2. You said you'd be home early. Stabs the doctor's hand. I remember everything. I'd like that thorazine now, please.
Simmons tending to YoYo. Mack fluffs her pillow. And covers her with a blanket. YoYo threatens to strangle him. Coulson comes in. Please stop asking how I'm feeling. He says Fitz is going to make you the finest prosthetics he can. YoYo asks if it feels the same? No. It doesn't feel at all. She asks Mack how he feels about dating a person with robot parts. Mack says those aren't the parts that matter. YoYo calls him sweet. You can be annoying again. She wants a beer. He'll see about it. Now rest.
Fitz meets with them. Gravitonium won't hold the rip forever. Days are numbered. We need more gravitonium. Fitz says we need everybody on this. Daisy brings up Cybertech. They made Deathlok's parts. Deke comes in. Coulson invited him. Daisy says all Cybertech's scientists are dead, but the autopsies were signed by one man. He's currently a real estate agent in Baton Rouge. Coulson says we need to talk to him. Daisy wants to go with him. Coulson tells Deke to help Fitz.
Alex is awake. Clothes waiting for him. Door open. Same bunker Ruby's at, I think. He finds a cafeteria. Grabs food and a knife. Sits to eat. Ruby comes in with her earbuds in. He says hello. Hey, what is this place? She gets a bowl and walks back out.
Corvette. Daisy and Coulson stop the guy. He shoots and drives off. They pin him between cars. He says I take orders from no one and not you. Mack says Candyman? Mack Hammer? They hug. Good to see you.
Roommates at the Academy freshman year. Candyman was booted. Mack says you never went to class. Daisy asks about Mack Hammer. Mack was obsessed with MC Hammer in high school. Coulson asks about Joseph Getty. Candyman says you hear about Project Paperclip? Same thing happened with Hydra. They were given a second chance to be scientists for SHIELD.
Dele found a glove and ball. Fitz is cranky. Deke tells him to take a break if he's stuck. His mom told him about Einstein. Deke tells him to visit Mrs. Fitz. You just got married. Fitz agrees to play fetch. Alarm. Anomaly flare. See something not real, kill it.
YoYo fell out of bed. She forgot she didn't have arms. Tells Simmons to leave her alone and let her sit. YoYo wants to be with Mack forever and have children with him. What I saw, what I heard, it's all happening. There's no future but the one we saw. Simmons says we will change it. YoYo says no.
Candyman wondering at Mack being so different now. What happened? Mack says dark things people should never have to see. Won't let people I love get hurt by it. Not anymore. Candyman says I'm sorry, man, but the Deathlok plan is a dead end.
Daisy and May pushing to save Coulson again. He says no. I don't want another life extension. You have to accept that. May and Daisy say not going to happen. He was out shield and like it or not, we'll be his.
Ruby working out. Alex asks what is this place? This place is a safe house. I live here. He asks why do I live here? She throws the chakram. He spots her childhood scar. We used to play together. Ruby. You hit your head on the kitchen counter. She doesn't remember him. But does remember the floor. I was supposed to be watching and got blamed. My father beat me in front of you and your mother. He grabs her and puts the knife to her throat. I want to see her NOW.
Overlooking the sea. Candyman meets with the scientist. I need you to help me find something. Mack says gravitonium. I'm with SHIELD. The doc worked with HYDRA because they threatened his family. Mack asks about the gravitonium. It went on a cargo ship, the Principia. It sank in a storm.
Fitz says there's nothing there. Maybe hijacked by pirates. Coulson tells them to keep looking. Deke amazed at all the water. Simmons tells Fitz to get some rest. Deke asks how deep? 5 miles. What's it like? Cold. Fitz tells him to go. You're giving me a headache! Deke rants, then storms out. Fitz calls him Scrappy Doo. Jemma tells him to stop being so hard on Deke. He has exquisite taste in wedding rings. Husband. Wife. They kiss. She wants to hyphenate their names. Simmons-Fitz. Rolls off the tongue. LOL.
General comes in. Alex lets Ruby go. She says it's good to see you, Werner. He says it's Alex. I don't want anything to do with my father or Hydra. She says such a boys club. She hated his father's guts. She could use him. SHIELD zapped your brain in the memory enhancer. How much do you remember? Your father is one of the reasons Hydra went off the rails. I'm building a better future here. Can you help me do that, Alex? He says go to Hell. Kill me. I don't care. She won't. Tomorrow morning, I'll take you wherever you want to go. You're free. My gift to you. Ruby is surprised. General tells her to gain his trust and get inside his head. Stick to the books this time. Don't you go off the rails.
Deke find Twinkies. And loves it. Woman's voice. Who's there? Mom? She's been looking all over for him. He says not real, not real. She asks if he's getting enough to eat here. See you're making friends. You like them, I can tell. Daisy is cute. Deke says no, stop it. She says the steps you take don't need to be big. They just need to be in the right direction. Walk away. You know what happens when you care about someone. Kree kills her and attacks Deke. Deke kills it. Simmons shows up. You okay? Look like you had a fright. He needs a Zima. She says you shouldn't be alone. He says Fitz thinks I'm an idiot. He rants. Wait......it's all the same thing. Look up in the sky! Ship was in a storm. If it was hit by lightning...... It could be anywhere. Simmons and Fitz work on an algorithm.
Searching with the Zephyr. Found the flying boat. Holy moly. You guys see stuff like this all the time? Yep. Pretty much.
Alex has a nightmare. Wakes. Ruby comes in. He doesn't just remember words and facts. He remembers pain. Every beating like it's new. Over and over. She says that's gotta suck. I never knew my father. But my mother, she's a tyrant. She keeps me locked up and makes me do things I don't want to do. She's using me to get to you. Everything I did was all planned. The grand seduction. Gain his trust by any means necessary. You made the right decision. She only wants what's in your head. Whatever she's planning won't be different than Hydra or SHIELD. Unless....it could be our team. Only she wouldn't know until it was too late. He only wants to go far away. She says maybe the key to burying those memories is under newer happier memories. If you're not here tomorrow, I'll understand. But if you are.... She leaves after caressing him.
Entering the ship. Davis agrees May is a better pilot, lol. Mack reminds Coulson to breathe oxygen every 5 minutes. Team searches for gravitonium. Crew is all dead. Severe hypoxia. Keep moving. They pass a figure that lifts its head. Engine room. Someone here before us. Empty locked box. Where's the gravitonium? What's keeping the ship in the air? Mack tells them to get down here! Gravitonium about the size of a softball. Fitz says can't touch or move it. Deke says get a plastic box. Box it without touching it. You'll have 90 seconds before the ship will fall out of the sky. Coulson makes a Can't touch this joke. LOL. Mack seals the gravitonium. Daisy says lets go before this thing falls in the ocean. Mack is on a mission with the 2 things I fear most. Drowning and heights. The masked figure appears. Make that 3 things.
Hale's flying monkeys. They shoot them. Simmons worries about time running out for the team. May says you have less than a minute, get the hell out of that ship. Coulson says working on it. Mack's surrounded. It's hammer time. Daisy and Coulson getting out. Candyman shocked to watch this. Mack's on his way with guests.
Ship falls.
Hale is told old sleeper mechs came on line in the Principia.
Candyman thanked for his help. He says best day ever. Mack says good to see you again, Tony. Tony will dig on the Deathlok program. May says no matter how small.
YoYo apologizes for yesterday. Simmons says no need. Recovery takes a toll. YoYo's trying to not lose faith. We're going to change things. That's the spirit. Simmons says go slow. Steps you take don't need to be big. Just need to lead you in the right direction. Deke hears her. I saw you standing there... How are you? And um...they're back. That's what I came to tell you.
He's staring at Fitz. What? Nothing. Is that a new sweater? Heh. YoYo there to greet them. Fitz gets the gravitonium. Fitz grumpy. Deke says after you, Grandpa. LOL. Mack says guess what I got you. YoYo says she's stumped. He got her beer. And arms. She grins.
Ruby in the hall. Alex's room is empty. He's in the cafeteria eating. He thought about what she said. You're right. The future's ours. She says you should see who else we've got. The gym. Creel. Hale observes. Congratulates Ruby. Ruby says I told him the truth.
