"The Sign/New Life" - With time running short, the team will have to go to hell and back to stop the end of everything. Who will survive? Episode 12:
Flint in the temple. How did I get here? Mack says it's going to be okay. It's good to see you. You gotta get out of here! Flint says you locked up my friends? Friends.....yet they fear you....why? YoYo and Mack plead with him to stop using his powers. Izel is delighted. Catches the projectile stone. You can build them. Flint won't help. But she possesses him! She walks his body down the stairs to the center. Let's begin. Raising the sands and minerals.
Sarge sharpening the sword. Rage. You don't want to be anywhere near it when it comes out. Team discussing the mission. May brings up Reyes. He was able to control it. Sarge doesn't think he can control his.
Deke delivers the anti-control devices. Fitz calls him a wizard. Piper says we have other problems.
May pushing Sarge. Let the rage defeat Izel. Then let the other part rein it in. I'll be there for you.
The daggers were melted down into bullets.
May flying them to the temple. Wishes they had more time. She's worried. Maybe we can separate them. Daisy says we have no idea if it works that way. May says he's scared because that rage isn't part of him. May wants to send that thing back through the portal. If she can get Coulson back, she's going to take it. Prepare for descent.
Monoliths constructed. Izel leaves Flint. He falls unconscious. YoYo yells to him. Mack says he's breathing. YoYo demands to know what was done to him. Izel says he's extraordinary, but like all Terrans, weak. She's caressing the monoliths. They're gathering. They've never seen anything or heard a song or tasted your pain. But that'll change. Today. She goes outside to call up the Shrike bats. Bring me an army!
Zephyr on the ground. Quinjet heads in. Daisy checks the plane. Clear! Zephyr is empty and the Quinjet too. Daisy fires it up. Piper checking it. It's crippled. May asks how quick they can get Z1 flying again? Faster if they had Mack. Contact FitzSimmons. Sarge says Izel can hear our comms. Fitz agrees. They sign off. Piper tells Sarge to end her.
Family FitzSimmons pondering how to work Izel. Deke asks what if we get past her? It might not work. But it could. Fitz says if you know a way to get past Izel, you really are a wizard. Deke says don't get mad. It's kinda already here.
Flint wakes. Asks what she's going to do with the monoliths. He wants to tear them apart once he gets his energy back. He finds out they saved Earth. And you saved the Lighthouse. He's freeing them. We made you with our minds. He asks if he's real? Cuffs are off. Flint notices her robot hands. Izel returns. Enters YoYo and strikes Flint. Izel says see, predictable.
Deke says hold on to that excited feeling. His company is in the Lighthouse!! Simmons asks if this is a jump drive. Patent pending. Fitz says you stole this! Deke says SHIELD stole this from the Remorath. Fitz says you stole ALL of this! Is that Framework code? Deke says profit fuels research. The drive could save our friends. Simmons is encouraged. Fitz asks if it works. Deke says most of the mice survived. But with all 3 of us, maybe we can get it working better. Deke summons all of his people to work on the problem. Let's treat it like it's launch day, people!
Sarge and Daisy and May. Sarge has always had the sword. Never questioned why. Man runs at them. Sarge fires 3 times. Should've thought of the Shrike killing bullets. More bogeys incoming. Daisy says I'm pretty sure I killed the birds. And I'm pretty sure I jinxed us by saying that. lol
Shrike attacks Daisy. Then May. Daisy gets hers down. May takes hers. Sarge shoots another. And then another comes in. He shoots it 3 times. Too much? I don't know, kind of felt like overkill. Heh. May tells Lighthouse that they may have blown their cover.
Deke says the drive is ready to jump. Fitz doesn't know how it works and you can't tell me because you didn't build it. Simmons says he's a work in progress. Deke says you're jealous. Jemma tells them to stop it. This is exhausting and Mack and YoYo need us.
Izel wants to put the first three in Mack and YoYo and Flint. Tells them to sit down.
Fitz and Deke bickering again. You're not a genius, you're a hack! You built this company to get rich! Deke says I built this company because no one liked me! I've never belonged anywhere. All my friends are gone. The woman I gave lemons to thinks I'm a loser. No other girls. And my family wants nothing to do with me. Even my own grandparents think I'm a joke. He puts the drive on. What do I have to do to get a little respect around here? He disappears. The employees clap.
He's in the temple! Puts the blockers on YoYo and Mack. YoYo tosses Izel. Flint and Deke surprised to see each other. They run while she gets up. Deke says we have to get back to Z1. Mack and YoYo carrying Flint. Shrike coming. Deke says go, I'll draw them away. Mack thanks Agent Shaw. Any time, Director. He gets the Shrike to follow him. Uses the drive and only lands behind them. Unexpected. He calls to the Lighthouse. The drive isn't working! Fitz says it needs 20 to 30 minutes to change! And they yell again.
May and Daisy say that was Coulson. Sarge says Izel built an army. Daisy will do her thing.
Izel with the monoliths.
Deke hiding. Talking to Simmons. He's rambling about killing zombies. Hears the song. He goes to investigate it.
Izel has changed clothes into a fancy robe. She's singing at the monoliths. They get melty and vibrate. Deke watches. Sets up a camera sending the video to the Lighthouse. I think this means we're too late.
**Fitz really does not have patience, does he? Granted, Deke rides the nerves of anyone. They didn't start his character this way but for some reason decided to fully embrace turning him into a nerd with no social skills.
on the Zephyr 1. Piper and Mack working on flint's injuries. Flint is amazed at what he's seen so far. YoYo tells him to try to relax. Mack pulls Piper aside. That's Flint. Izel shattered his leg. Can you fly him out of here? yeah. Piper tells Mack that Sarge is here. Daisy thinks he's the only one that can kill Izel. Mack and YoYo get Flint up. He wants tacos.
Sarge and May. Give Daisy a minute. Shrike still surround the temple. They hear Izel's song. She's close to opening the gate. Last chance to walk away. May isn't afraid. She says you'll do the right thing. I know who you are. He says you have to let Couson go. There's no maybe. She's accepted Coulson is gone. But there's good in you, even if it isn't him. Ground shaking. Daisy on cue.
Deke wants out. Jemma says you don't have enough power to get back to the Lighthouse. Shrike found him. He jumps. Lands in the jungle. I'm okay. I made it. I'm safe. Cancel that, not safe! Not alone. They take the drive off him. FitzSimmons direct him to the nearest plane. Where's west? TOWARD THE SUN.
Daisy gets to the Zephyr. Mack says you left them behind? She says Fast zombies. Not easy to shake. We have to get in the air now! A hands rips at electronics at the cargo door.
Monoliths melt and come together.
Sarge and May in the temple. No signal. He's struggling. Get me to her. His power shows. GET ME TO HER.
Izel sends the monolith mud at the gateway. It's open. The monoliths reconstitute behind her.
Zephyr. Figuring out how to get off the ground. Piper took the Quinjet to get Flint out. Shrike zombies are in the cargo hold and entering the plane. Mack and Daisy arguing. Shrike break in the door.
Deke in the plane. Fitz says wait for extract. Jemma tells Deke to stay put, someone will be there shortly.
Izel says Sarge seems more like himself. Just in time. May threatens Izel. Sarge says stand back. She's mine. He grabs her throat and they fly toward the ground. He pulls the sword. Izel says that doesn't belong in this world. He says neither do you. This pain, I'm done with it. He tries to stab her and he can't complete the strike. Izel laughs.
Mack still yelling at Daisy about Sarge. YoYo says do we really have to do this now? Mack yells at her that Sarge is the Devil. Daisy says he's not. Mack says we don't know what he is.
May and Izel trying to influence Sarge. Izel asks what he feels? He says anger and fear. Fear of this pain that's been a knife in my heart for so long. May says that's love. That pain is love. I was afraid of it, too, but you let me feel it. Gave it to me. You gave me purpose. Remember me. Remember us. Daisy, Mack, YoYo, and FitzSimmons. You love us. He says you're right. The pain is love. And now I know how to end it. He stabs MAY. Sends her into the PORTAL! How's that for a sign?
**Holy shit, seriously? But there's 5 minutes plus the next ep left.
Enoch served a drink. Meets with Isaiah in the bar. How are our efforts faring? He's reached out to the anthropologists. Enoch thinks they can rebuild their planet. Isaiah says they have all been reassigned. Into Hunters. Including him! He attacks Enoch.
Episode 13:
Agents saw May on the video. Daisy calls in for help. FitzSimmons tell her that Sarge killed May. Comms are off. They're locked out.
Hunters arrive in the Lighthouse corridor. Satellites offline. Hunters invade and start shooting. Leave no prisoners.
Daisy and Mack and YoYo. You were right. I should've never trusted him. Mack apologizes. Daisy says don't walk it back. I did this! This is on me. YoYo says then make it mean something. They hear Deke on the comm. He's stuck in a Quinjet. 200 yards away. Shrike beating on the door. Mack tells Deke he has to fly to them. Mack tells him to get to the cockpit and he'll walk him through liftoff. Ten four, good buddy. Throttle isn't working.
Chronicom hunters have the operating systems and the building is locked down. Flush out all personnel. Tech here is quite primitive. He tells Isaiak to go, find us the key.
Agents get into hiding. Fitz tries to call Enoch. Gets voicemail. This is an extermination.
Sarge smirks at Izel. Izel asks how does it feel to be your true self once more? Long overdue. Yet here you are. Ready to claim what we've always longed for. Only a matter of time now the sign has been sent.
May's bleeding body with the sword in her. Three robed and hooded figures approach.
**Ming-Na was at the final day of shooting the series July 30. May can't stay dead!
Deke wonders what he's missing re: why this won't fly? Shrike ripped out a part outside. We have to find a workaround. Mack tells him it's in the hatch in the floor.
Reinforce the door. I'll get Deke in the air. YoYo and Daisy brace the door.
Where is everybody. Protocol team is dead and smoking. executed. How did they know? It's a verbal call. Fitz says they've been in our heads. They know everything we know. Every move we would make. Agents find them. Can't go to the hangar. Has to be somewhere new. They tell the agents to go to the 21st floor. FitzSimmons stays behind. Jemma will make sure they won't get in anyone else's heads.
Izel caresses Sarge. She appreciates this vessel of his. There's a strength about it which she finds enticing. He says it's a prison. She freed him. He says you're responsible for my captivity. You left me in our world. I sent you to find the dialis. I should've struck you down when I had the chance. He tells her to call the Shrike back to the temple. Let's give them new life.
Mack and Deke. Shrike grabs Deke's arm. He bites the zombie. Quinjet has power again. Let's get this bird in the air.
Zephyr. Where did the Shrike go? They got the armory! Door busts open. YoYo fires at them. Daisy did not know she could do that. Bat enters YoYo! Why didn't she use her robo hands to pull it out?
**Are we going to lose the whole team by the end of the ep and have to reset time again?????
Deke awkwardly flying the Quinjet. Mack tells him landing requires a gentle touch. Daisy brings YoYo to Mack. Tell him the Shrike flew in her mouth. Deke is having technical issues and roughly lands on top of the Zephyr. Mack won't lose YoYo. Can't lose her.
FitzSimmons. Framework in a room. Jemma wants to destroy what's left of it. Fitz is kind of sad to see it go. No. That was a joke. Framework's just silly. Clunk at the door. She peeks. Hunters. Keep searching. They have mind tech. We need to destroy all of it. Setting charges all over the room.
Robed figures climb on their side to a pillar that's glowing. Amulets on the stone. Monolith representations.
May's moved! Still has the sword. She pulls it out of her. Hears something and gets up well. Peeks through a hole and the flood is coming.
May creeps up on the three with the sword.
Izel and Sarge. The amulets fly through the portal. Izel picks up one.
FitzSimmons don't have enough bullets. This room only has one entrance. There's no way out. We don't have a timer. Just a trigger. A grenade. What other choice do we have, right? Right. We'll be saving lives. Pulls the pin. They hold it. Hunters break in. Find them. Someone shoots them! Isaiah! Picks up the pin. Puts it back in the grenade. Sorry. This must be confusing, best friend, but I had to take bold action. Enoch!! He has a strategy. But time is of the essence. We must act now. Of course. He says this will be the hardest thing you've ever done. You have to change the natural course of your lives forever. FitzSimmons says oh, that again. Yeah, yeah, yeah. LOL!
**Love that they aren't even phased anymore.
**So, Sarge knew May would live and heal on the other side. He told Izel they'd know pain. May is going to want to kick his ass for stabbing her. Then probably kiss him.
**How do we save YoYo?
Deke flying them. Mack returns to YoYo. She said Keller had 30 minutes before we lost him. Mack says I'm not losing you. Daisy agrees. We will crush them. Maybe when the wicked witch is gone, her army will go, too. YoYo says if I turn, put one of those knives right here. Mack won't be able to do it. Daisy says it won't come to that. Fate of the world as always. Daisy has revenge on her mind.
Izel says you sent her there. You didn't want her dead to begin with. You haven't shed the chains of this vessel! He says ready to find out? She grabs her sword and enters the portal.
Sees the puddle of blood. Life and death are meaningless in that realm. I sang my song, connected our worlds. Now I'll open the door to this temple and let my people through. May says humans will fight back. They always do. Izel posturing. May says get ready to be reborn and attacks Izel. Sword fight!
Looking in the temple. Deke leading them. YoYo is coughing. Mack ordered Deke to stay here and shoot the zombies. You should see his video game. Heh. Daisy's look.
Sarge waiting at the portal. Mack and Daisy and YoYo find him. She quakes at him. And we see the alien. Daisy uses both hands. The alien says I'm more powerful than you could ever be. Hits Daisy. Mack fires into him until his gun is empty, then beats on him. YoYo's dying. Mack slamming Sarge. Daisy with YoYo. Sarge grabs Mack's throat. YoYo tells Daisy to stab her. We hear it.
May and Izel still fighting. Izel has two short blades. They're climbing the stairs. May's in a bad position. Izel slams her into a column, then puts the rocks in place to open the door. May attacks her again. Kicks Izel down to the lower level. Izel did what she came to do. On the other side, you're already dead. They'll erase you for me. May turns toward the door.
**Are we losing YoYo for season 7, or will Enoch's plan save everyone? Still wonder if we're resetting time.
**I hope season 7 can rejoin the main MCU timeline now Endgame has been out. I don't like the idea of this show being "shunned" by the movie side of things.
Shrike. Deke tell the team he can't hold forever.
YoYo pleads to be stabbed before it gets worse. Mack slugging Sarge. Sarge hits him. You put up a good fight, Director, but we're no match now. Mack won't give up. Then he sees YoYo suffering. Stay with me. I'm right here. Daisy says she can't. She faces off with Sarge. YoYo dies, then the Shrike in her overtakes Mack. Sarge asks Daisy why keep fighting. Look at your suffering. Why continue? He's going to hand pick the spirits to take them and ravage their insides. Izel comes through and is stabbed from behind. May kills her. YoYo's Shrike is out. Mack gets a sword. Daisy blasts Sarge. Mack swings the sword into Sarge. The temple shakes and then they're saved. Daisy goes to May, who looks pale like death. You got that thing inside him? We did. Was there anything left of Coulson? I was hoping to see him again. Daisy nods. Me, too. May says I guess I'll see soon enough. Her eyes close and her head droops. Lights come on from above. Simmons looks very different! She'll be fine. Containment suits enter. Simmons injects May. We'll repair her tissues in a few hours. Right now we have to move. Quickly, sir. The team is destroying the monoliths.
May in a pod. Onto the Zephyr. We had help and we had time. Give YoYo her breathing apparatus. Set the chamber to minus 68 degrees. Jemma doesn't know and can't know where Fitz is! Simmons, what's going on here? Chronicoms want to establish home here on Earth. Hunters came to destroy SHIELD. We lost the Lighthouse. She tells Fitz that all are recovered and they're leaving. Prepare for launch. Where are we going? Lighthouse wasn't the only point of interest targeted by the hunters.
Mack asks where Fitz sent us? Jemma doesn't know, yet. Scans the terrain. Daisy opens the cockpit door. Look to the windows. Zephyr is flying above New York City. Fogged over. Jemma forgot to cloak. Systems changed when they upgraded. See the Empire State Building. She says It may be the tallest building in the world. Mack says you enhanced the jump drive, too. How? She says we had time. Scaffolding on the Empire State. They're in the past!!!
**Empire State Building was completed in 1931.
Daisy needs a drink, but those are illegal now, aren't they? Mack asks about more bombshells? Jemma says Enoch had a solution for a problem we couldn't solve. We need an expert in SHIELD history. This decision should be left up to him and he has already voiced his opposition. He has been updated. And he's our most advanced LMD. I was deeply against it at first, but it's the right thing to do. And frankly...I miss him. They go to another room. Enoch is there. Jemma asks them what do they think? The bay lights up. Coulson is back! The LMD says Hey, guys.
