WHEN TWO SIDES COLLIDE — With Vincent (guest star Yusuf Gatewood) on the loose and hell bent on revenge, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) brings Cami (Leah Pipes) to the safe house as he and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) return to the compound. Hayley and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) devise a plan to bring the vampires and werewolves together to consider a truce, but tensions grow when Vincent places a spell on the compound, trapping the two sides together. Meanwhile, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) grows concerned when Rebekah fails to show up at the safe house, prompting Klaus to confront Kaleb (guest star Daniel Sharman) for answers. Lastly, after accepting her mother’s offer to jump into a new body, Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) turns to former Harvest girl Cassie (guest star Natalie Dreyfuss) for help when she finds herself trapped inside an insane asylum. Episode 10:
Hayley picks up Hope, at the safe house. Brings her to the kitchen, where Elijah is making breakfast. They almost kiss. Klaus' voice-over talks about their mother's influence on the siblings. Elijah, Kol, Finn, Rebekah, and himself. Now we've defeated her, given her the choice she never gave us. He was updating Camille. She's worried about Finn's wrath. Klaus says you're safe here. There's someone I want you to meet. Hayley brings Hope out on the porch. Camille is shocked, since it was thought Hope was dead.
Klaus with Camille and Elijah in the living room. Hayley and Klaus will return to New Orleans to deal with Finn. Elijah will stay here. Klaus says Cami has a way with minds plagued by demons. You two can bond. He says you should expect Rebekah soon.
Rebekah is sedated at the witch prison and no longer fastened to the bed.
Finn breaks a skull apart. Mikael with him. Mikael says together we can finally destroy them. Finn is happy to hear that. I could use your strength.
Hayley meets with Jackson. Ready to get hitched? He says it's a mystical unification ceremony. Not that simple. We have to do this by the book. Find a shaman. Do rituals. He's looking forward to getting to know her. I want to know you. Downstairs, guests have arrived. Wolves and vampires. Time to talk.
Rebekah spits out the pill. Cassie is the only person who believes she's Rebekah. You must be the Harvest Girl. So how does one break out? You can't. There's no leaving this place. Surely someone's gotten out? Sure, but not alive.
Kol gets a visit from Klaus in his new room. Klaus brought him his favorite booze. And Finn breaks the bottle. "Where is she?" Klaus says you'll never find her. Finn says, you think you've won? Let's see how long that arrogance lasts, Brother.
Marcel and Hayley meeting with the wolves. Finn interrupts. The only thing that can exist between you is hatred, war, and death. He locks them in the compound.
Leah Pipes in a Wells Fargo technology commercial. The bank is a sponsor for the episode.
Klaus tells Kol we have a witch problem. Fix it. You might look rather appetizing to some of our prisoners.
Marcel has Josh and Aiden looking for a way out. Marcel tells Gia to cut the attitude. Make sure no one looks for trouble. Hayley comes in. How do we keep this under control? Marcel says we drink and hopefully blow off a little steam.
Elijah leaves another message for Rebekah. Camille finds the liquor cabinet and offers Elijah a drink. She says she's more interested in forgetting her own problems than fixing his. Booze and board games is where she's at. He doesn't want to play. She asks about Hayley. So he joins the game. Heh.
Klaus and Hayley observe. He knows she and Elijah hooked up. Teases her about it. She says stop, this family is weird enough already. He tells her don't tell Jackson, he doesn't need to know. Decency of merciful lies is what strong bonds are built on.
Cassie and Rebekah tour the house. Covens lock up witches broken by magic here. Cassie says the dark magic group runs the place. Rebekah says we're still witches, though. All we need to do is send a distress signal.
Davina arrives at the compound to help Kol work on the spell. They chant at the barrier. Doesn't work. Finn must be channeling something. A dark object, maybe.
Finn's using Mikael's strength to fuel is spells. Bloody hell!
Cami and Elijah still playing the game. He can answer very question! She spills on his sleeve and he obsessively tries to wipe it clean. Phone rings. Then he tells Klaus that Angelica Barker is still herself.
Kol asks if things are alright. Provided you found a way out our predicament. Kol says distract Finn by telling him where our mother is.
Hayley asks Jackson to talk in private. She wants to be honest. Says she was with Elijah the past couple days. With-with Elijah. Jackson asks if she's in love with Elijah. Then says he already knew that. She says it isn't about feelings. He says it's about sacrifice. That didn't go well.....
Josh and Aiden get some privacy to make out. Aiden worries someone might see. Josh says he doesn't care if someone sees them. Aiden says the wolves don't know about us. You're a vampire, and it's different for the wolves. Josh starts feeling really hungry.
He goes to Marcel. All I can think about is blood. Gia, too. And Marcel. Klaus comes in wondering what's going on. Marcel says we're all super hungry. Finn's doing another spell. Klaus isn't affected.
It's going to be up to the old to keep the vamps from eating their potential allies. Klaus calls Finn. Let's negotiate. Finn says he wants to exterminate vampires. Says the vampires won't be able to stop if they start feeding. Klaus says Esther for our freedom. Do we have a deal? Finn says if he finds Mother unharmed, then he might consider letting them go. Klaus tells him the location.
Rebekah and Cassie try to do a spell. Start chanting over letter tiles to spend a n SOS. Door opens. Time to eat.
Tensions rising in the compound. Kol has an idea. 60 seconds to escape, if it works. But it'll suppress the daylight rings. Marcel says we can't wait for nightfall. We'll have a bloodbath on our hands.
Elijah isn't well. Camille tries to comfort him and he vamps out. Then he's gone.
Rebekah searches for a way out, rattling the windows in her room. The tiles move and ask "Who are you?" Rebekah bloody Mikaelson! She sees someone, a woman in black. Fights off two wardens and follows the ghost.
Finn finds Esther. And she's a vampire. He stumbles back, horrified.
Kol and Davina work on their spell. Vamps and wolves start fighting and Aiden gets cut. Vamps try to attack. Start the spell!
Rebekah follows the ghost to a locked door. And then it opens. There's a coffin. The ghost is in it. Rebekah hears footsteps.
Esther pleads with Finn. I'm still your mother! I'm sorry. I was so hungry. He says you're a hypocrite. You caved to temptation. He fought for her because of her morality, her conviction. But she would want me to finish what we started.
Davina and Kol chant. It works. Wolves out now. 60 seconds is all it'll last. Klaus stops Kol from leaving. Where is she? Davina pleads with Klaus. Rebekah never made it to her new body. Kol says she's fine. It was a prank. And the barrier is back up. Klaus leaves him stuck in the compound. Davina asks Marcel to save him. Marcel tells Kol to make himself scarce.
Hayley in the bayou. Jackson brings her a beer. He has an engagement ring! Shows it to her. He says he had no right to act like I did earlier. You were just being honest. I love you, Hayley. Always have. I know we're doing this to fix what we broke, but I loved you before I knew you, and now knowing you, I love you even more. I promise you we'll save our friends. I've made a lot of mistakes and forcing you to love me isn't going to be one of them. I want to marry you and I hope to hell you'll marry me. She caresses his face and he puts the ring on her finger.
Klaus on the phone with Elijah. Tells Elijah to stay with Camille and Hope. Elijah tells Camille he owes her an apology. He can't help his family and it's not something he's accustomed to. Forgive me. She says if he wants to talk, it's what she does. She goes back inside.
Klaus in the cemetery. Esther's body is gone.
Finn lays her next to Mikael. He remembers the day they lost Freya and stopped being happy. Should've stopped there, but you had the monsters you call children, and you will all pay.
Vamps still locked up. Kol tries to blockade himself in a room.
Rebekah is put to bed. The tiles move. Spell "Freya"!
