Juliette's film premiere. Her album is due in a week.
Rayna at home. The girls are asleep in bed. Rayna goes to bed alone.
Layla's on Juliette's red carpet. Luke is there, too. They're playing the Staples Center this week.
Rayna on the phone. With Bucky. She's happy to let Juliette go. Girls are ready for school. Rayna says let's just sign the papers to be done with Juliette.
They go to the hospital. Deacon comes in. Beverly had an aneurism during the surgery and is in a coma. He apologizes for not coming home last night. He fell asleep at the hospital.
Gunnar with their manager. Scarlett missed the meeting, the 3rd time. Gunnar's doing his best to cover for her. He calls her.
She says sorry she couldn't make it. He asks about her mother. Then reminds her about recording tonight for the EP. Asks about rehearsing first. She agrees. Doctor Boyfriend got her a present, for 1 month of living together. It's a vintage pendant.
Avery at his parents' with Cadence. He's watching the TV about Juliette. Avery's dad says digs about Juliette. Avery asks him to say nothing. His mother advises him to reach out to Juliette.
Juliette gets drunks and pukes in the bathroom. She's a mess.
Bucky and Rayna going over the papers. Phone rings. Juliette. She's crying on the phone. Says I can't....I need.....then she hangs up. Bucky asks what that was. Rayna says something is really, really wrong.
Will has a beard and has been staying in bed. Luke benched him. His boyfriend tries to get him to do....anything.
Deacon singing to Beverly. Weird to see her with short, dark hair. Scarlett listens at the door. He finishes. She asks how long he's been here. Scarlett says this isn't your fault. Honor her choice by living the life she gave you.
Layla on the phone. Someone knocks. She tells Jeff she misses him. It's Patrick. He says you're not going to the concert. You having dinner with a director and producer tonight. She takes the phone and thanks Jeff. Patrick tells Jeff that Layla bought it. Uh oh.
Rayna comes to the hospital. Tells him about the call from Juliette. She's worried a bit. Avery's in Ohio. Rayna made calls and no one's answering. She feels she needs to go out there. Deacon tells her to go.
The girls are home. They got letters from Teddy. Maddie rips hers up and throws it away.
Will at Gunnar's. Ranting. Gunnar says you need to stop being afraid. Or at least take a shower.
Avery checks on Cadence. Thinks about texting Juliette. Sends a "We're still here."
Juliette with her entourage. She reads the text. Says it's nobody. She looks like hell.
Wow, Juliette needs treatment. She's obviously depressed and trying to hide it, bury it.
Staple Center. Juliette goes on stage.
Avery in the kitchen. Sees a magazine with Juliette on the cover. His mother asks about talking. Avery thinks she'll call, but she hasn't. He sees her everywhere. His mother says you can't be a husband to someone that's not there, so you have to do something. His father offers to have him stay. Be with people who love you.
Luke thanks Steven Tyler for showing up. Rayna shows up. Luke asks why she's here. Rayna says Juliette called me. How is she doing? He says she's good. How often has she seen her husband, her newborn baby? If it was me, I'd be worried about that.
Will trims his beard.
Scarlett arrives at Gunnar's studio. They hug. He brings up what happened on the roof. Scarlett says nothing happened. It was a weird night. Let's get started on the harmonies.
Juliette sings "Crazy." Rayna watches from the wings. A young blonde says she's Juliette's best friend. Oy. Steven Tyler joins Juliette on stage. Nice harmonies. On stage is the only place Juliette looks good and happy.
Deacon at the hospital. Kisses Beverly's head. Calls for someone to come in after Beverly squeezes his hand. He weeps with relief. Sometimes it's only a reflex, though, dude......we'll see if Beverly actually wakes up.
Scarlett and Gunnar working on their song. They keep sharing looks. Gunnar caresses her cheek. The kisses her. They make out, then she stops him and gets off the couch. She asks him to not do that. She's too vulnerable right now. I have a boyfriend, Gunnar. You make me feel like I'm out of control. He makes me feel safe and I love him. Gunnar says, then why do you keep ending up here with me? She leaves. Then cries in the car.
Avery with Cadence. Looking at old pictures in his room.
Will and Kevin at dinner. Will shaved. He feels like everyone is staring at him. Kevin says ignore them. It's no big deal. A woman comes over and tells Will he's a liar and disgusting. They slept together and she would've liked to know he was gay instead. She storms off. Will tells Kevin to let it go. Kevin says let's go somewhere this won't happen.
Juliette with her entourage. Rayna comes in, surprise. Juliette asks the others to go. Rayna says I was worried after that call this morning. Juliette plays it off like it was a butt dial. Rayna says you can talk to me, I'm right here. We've known each other a while. Let me help you find your way back home. I'm here because I care about you. Juliette says you just want a piece of me like everyone else. I don't need your help or your pity. You have nothing to offer me. Everyone knows your label is a joke. She opens the door for Rayna to leave. Rayna just shakes her head, says You break my heart, girl. I swear, you really do.
Scarlett gets to the hospital. Beverly is waking. It'll take a couple days before she's fully out of it, but yeah. Deacon's grateful they have a second chance. He leaves to call the girls.
Avery sits with his parents. He's been thinking about the offer. It's very tempting, but when Cadence looks at me, I don't want her to see someone that gave up on his dreams without a fight. He appreciates everything, but Nashville's home, with or without Juliette.
Daphne reads Maddie's letter. Maddie fights with her. Deacon comes home. You need to be nicer to each other. You don't know it, but you two are the best friends you'll have your entire lives. Daphne says you're not my father. Storms out. Maddie says marry Mom and she can't talk to you like that anymore. He says they're waiting for Bev to get better.
Kevin brought Will to a gay bar. Stop thinking so much and dance with me. Will's not comfortable. He bolts.
Rayna on the phone with Deacon. They exchange news. He says you sound tired. Get some sleep. Love you. Love you, too.
Layla comes to Juliette's dressing room. Asks if Patrick is around. Nope. Is Steven Tyler still here? Heard he's going to be at the after party. Juliette says Jeff is a terrible human being. Layla says he loves me and I love him. Juliette says who do you think he's going to put first? Me. Not you. You're not me, honey, and you're never going to be. Layla storms out. Juliette has been drinking a bottle of champagne alone. As Rayna said, Juliette knows how to go for the jugular.
Kevin chases Will out to the parking lot. Will says this isn't me. Kevin says we'll go somewhere else, then. Will says I don't belong anywhere. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?
After party. Juliette tells Patrick she wants Layla gone. He only argues for a second.
Layla calls Jeff and leaves a message. I need you to remind me that I'm number one for you when it counts.
Scarlett laid down her tracks without Gunnar.
Rayna reads news reports about her label. They aren't flattering.
Avery's driving home.
Juliette stares at photos of Avery and Cadence on her phone.
Scarlett with her boyfriend. She tells him she loves him. He loves her, too. They kiss.
Gunnar records his track. Manager says it was great. Didn't matter that Scarlett wasn't in there with you. Gunnar says it wasn't the same.
Will slept at Gunnar's. Avery walks in. We got a new roommate. Two, in fact. LOL.
Rayna listening to the radio talk about Juliette. Rayna's 0 for 3 on launching anyone but herself. Ouch.
Next week - Juliette and Avery talk. Sounds like Juliette has had regrets. She says please don't go.
