“Wild At Heart”
A STORM IS COMING — While Klaus (Joseph Morgan) finds himself dealing with pressing matters at home, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) reluctantly aligns with Aya (guest star Tracy Ifeachor) after learning that she may have knowledge of an elusive weapon that could kill an Original vampire for good. Meanwhile, alone and shunned by her coven of witches, a desperate Davina (Danielle Campbell) is left conflicted after she is approached with an enticing offer that could bring her one step closer to reuniting with Kol. Phoebe Tonkin and Charles Michael Davis also star. John Hyams directed the episode written by Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson (#311). Original airdate 2/5/2016.
Ep 11:
Aya addresses the Strix at dinner. Tristan was irreplaceable. They toast his loss. She's asked their witch Ariana to do an assessment. When you looked into their hearts, what did you see? Witch says before yo is a card. If your intentions are pure, you should not fear what it shows. Knights.....until one. Aya kills him. Then asks Marcel if he'll betray her. He says he's hurt that she even has to ask. His card is a knight, too. She says these are uncertain times. The prophecy of Elijah's demise is all too real and a threat to our sire is a threat to us. I'll continue our survival by any means necessary.
Davina in the market. Witches won't look at her. Josh asks to buy the anjelica Davina wanted. She says let's go. Awww.
Klaus finds Camille gone. Elijah says you gave her a daylight ring. So go and find her. I'll deal with our potential extinction. A darker threat remains. Hayley says Camille left at sunrise. I couldn't sleep. She asks to stay here for a few days. Elijah says of course. His phone buzzes. Forgive me. Klaus says you will always have a home here.
Aya on the phone with Elijah. She suggests pooling their efforts.
Josh and Davina. She's sorry she hasn't called him back. He says this is why you have friends. Limo pulls up. Aya. Tells Davina to get in. We have much to discuss.
Bar. Band rocking out. Camille walks in. Takes off her jacket. Bartender compliments her. A guy is an ass when he orders drinks. Cami compels him to leave that bartender the biggest tip she's ever seen, then meet me in the alley. Klaus sends Cami a drink. Heh.
Aya and Davina. Brings her to the witches. Meet the Sisters. When I found them, they were nothing but orphans and outcasts. They are the only coven in the world capable of casting this. The spell to raise the dead. The Sisters reveal to me anything that may be of use. Davina asks what do yo want from me? Aya will allow her to raise Kol in exchange for her loyalty.
Cami thanks Klaus for the drink. She says we hunt, we feed, we kill..... He says we might want to keep our voices down. Why? Can't we compel anyone? He says you might think you know what this world is life, but you do not. You're dealing with something you weren't prepared for. She admits I'm all over the place. Can't control her emotions and everything feels awesome and too much all at once. He says let me help you and I promise you'll live a life others only dream of. Besides, if you're going to learn, might as well learn from the best. That's a devilish grin.
Josh and Davina in the church attic. She needs to go to see Kol to verify the spell will work. Josh says it's too dangerous. She took the poison. He asks what he needs to do? She cuts their hands and links them. Don't let go, okay? You're my link to the living.
Davina wakes up in witch purgatory. She sees Josh and her body. Leaves the attic.
Aya and Elijah. Introduces him to Ariana. She's untrained, of course, but shows a spark of talent. He asks what do you want with me. Ariana will enter his mind to find the answer to the only question that matters.
Hayley holding Hope. Packing in the apartment. She sees one of Jackson's shirts. Ouch.
Davina in the street. Dark and empty. Kol grabs her. It's his original face. He hugs her. You're stark raving mad. Do you know what would happen if the Ancestors found you here? Come on.
Ariana has Elijah in the water. Speeds through his mind. Aya asks if she saw the weapon. Ariana says a dark figure, a pale horse, a flame that will burn you all.
Klaus finds prey. Cami bites a redhead woman. Klaus tells her to listen to the heartbeat. It'll tell you when to stop. She doesn't. He pulls Cami off the girl, then compels her and the young man to leave and forget them. Camille resents his critique. Klaus doesn't wish her the same fate as him. To be beyond absolution. She says you are exactly what you're meant to be and now I'm just like you. He says this is not you, Camille. She says you're right. Leans into him. She breaks his neck. It's better. OHHHHHHH!!!!! She leaves him in the alley.
Cami finds Kinney. He's happy to see her. Back on the job. She says you're a good cop, Will. She needs a favor. Have a second? Yeah.
Davina and Kol in a pub. He kisses her. She didn't like it. She says you're so different. I'm adjusting. He says close your eyes. Think back to our last dance. They sway. She smiles. God, I missed you. I like this face just fine. She asks what's happening to him here? He says it's nothing. You shouldn't have come here. There's a darkness to this place. She shows him the spell.
Lucien's place. Cami and Kinney. She compelled him to find one of the stolen boxes. Klaus is in the elevator. He tells her don't push it.
Kol says it's fake. Someone's trying to pull one over on you. She says you're lying. Why? He does want to live again, but do you know how dangerous that spell is? Haven't seen anything like it since the Strix Coven. find another way, love. Not with them. Nothing is worth what they'll make you do. Ancestors are close. Outside the pub. Kol tells her to hide. Doors open. Ancestors searching. Then they go back out the door.
Cami yells at Klaus. Give them back! Or I'll take them back. He says you can forget about leaving! Cami says Aurora was right. I'm out of your control and you hate it, don't you? You're the one that's terrified, Klaus. A scared little kid, afraid everyone will leave you. Hayley says you can't force her to stay. Let me talk to her. She died, Klaus. Just like me. Just like Jackson. Elijah arrives. Niklaus. A word. The girls leave.
Davina and Kol. He tells her to hurry to the church. But they're found. Hello, Davina. I think that's the witch she had murdered.
Elijah tells Klaus what he learned. Klaus wishes witches would bloody well say what they mean. Elijah says leave Camille be. I need you. A storm is coming.
Hayley appeals to Camille and Cami isn't listening. Says take your own advice. You're in love with Elijah, and now you're free. Like a weight lifted. Hayley tries to stay calm. Never, ever to speak to me of my husband again, understand me? Cami says why would I say that? Hayley says being manic is part of it. Cami wanted to make her feel pain like she does. Hayley says forget it. You're not you. Cami thought she could handle this. I should go home. She leaves.
Davina is attacked. Josh's throat slit by Ariana. Who goes into Purgatory and saves Davina. We have to go now.
Klaus asks Hayley where is Camille? Home. I let her go. The Cami you knew is gone and whoever she's going to be she has to figure out alone. Klaus wanted to keep her safe. Hayley says those people you want to keep safe? Sometimes you do more harm than good. He has a light bulb moment. I know what the weapon is - I made it myself!
In the church in Purgatory. Kol says go. Ariana says he can't come. Not yet. Kol tells Davina to go, or they're lost. He faces the Ancestors.
The attic. Davina sees the hands are unlinked. Ariana says concentrate. Focus on what you love most. Fight with that in mind.
Klaus looks through stuff. The pale horse is a trinket. I carved it for Rebekah. Elijah says it was fallen branches from.....the horse was made from the White Oak.
Davina awake. Ariana says Josh will wake. Davina asks why did you help? Because Aya wanted you saved. Davina asks if she made the deal. Ariana says yes and it was worth it.
They can't find the horse. Hayley saw it this afternoon. Klaus believes her. Camille was listening. She took the horse.
Cami on the street with it. She smirks. Wow.
**Damn, Camille is devious! Who knew? Will she ever feel her conscience again? Does she still love Klaus, or is she no longer capable?
Bar. Josh and Davina have a beer. She thanks him for being there for her. He says when Aiden died, part of me knew I'd never be that happy ever again. If I could bring him back, I'd do it no matter what. If there's a chance for you to be with your guy, you have to do it.
Camille tells Klaus that she took his to get hers back. Now she has his attention, we'll be in touch. She gets in a car.
Ariana gets a visit from Elijah. She says you've come to kill me. You can't allow me to live with what I've seen. The things you keep hidden. I am released. He strokes her hair back and bites her neck. Feeds, then lets her fall in the water. Her blood stains it red.
Josh goes to Marcel. What have you been up to? Josh says thinking. Friends are important. What will we do about Davina becoming one of the Strix's witches?
Hayley in the apartment. Finds Jackson's shirt. Dammit, show, don't make me cry again! She cradles it and weeps. Elijah walks in. He doesn't know what to say. She says I've spent the last 24 hours being so angry at Tristan, your family, you......Jackson, even, for always being so brave. But then I'm not mad....I'm just guilty. She drops her head in her hands. Elijah goes to her and sits on the floor. She says I wanted to blame you. Anyone. But the truth it, my husband died because he loved me and loving any of us is a death sentence, isn't it?
Next week - Elijah with the Strix. And Vincent with Camille. Aya won't rest until the weapon is found.
