After 13 years, 3 shows, and 331 episodes, The Vampire Diaries Universe has ended. The CW canceled Legacies today.

Tonight's episode has moved to June 2 and Legacies‘ June 16 season finale (9/8c) will now have to serve as its series finale.

TVLine readers chose Legacies as the one bubble show they most wanted to be renewed, but alas, it wasn’t to be.

As of April 26, Legacies this season has averaged 760,000 total weekly viewers and a 0.2 demo rating (with Live+7 playback factored in), down from its Season 3 tallies (1 mil/0.3). 

Out of the 19 dramas The CW has aired this TV season, it ranks No. 12 in audience and only trails All American, Superman & Lois, and The Flash in the demo. 

Of note, its audience enjoys one of the two largest DVR bumps (+107%) of any CW series.

Hope was 15 during The Originals finale. Rebekah and Marcel agreed to get married. She's going to get The Cure from Damon at the end of his life with Elena, decades from now. Marcel told Hope "I will never abandon you. Breathe my name..."

A Chambre de Chasse is a magically constructed location that exists on the astral plane represented by a specific mindscape usually depicted as a room. The Chambre de Chasse is a localized "pocket dimension" on the astral plane represented by one's mind created with representational magic. First, HOW CAN THEY END THIS SHOW ON ANOTHER 13 EPISODES?!?!?!?!?!

That Friday was a shitty day for me, so getting this news was a crap topper. I'm still pissed! The Originals never got proper respect from the network, moved all over every season with totally wrong pairings, and then two 13 episode seasons to wrap up this epic saga of Always and Forever? No.

This show deserves 100 episodes.

TO has given me a TV hangover so many times. I've cried and laughed and growled at the TV within the same episode. How can we say goodbye? Especially a season after TVD ends?

Well, I say now, if you want to save The Originals, you have to campaign. Every fan around the world tell The CW you're not ready for this show to end and demand more episodes. Show up and a network will take notice.
