"Red Meat"
WEREWOLF ATTACK! – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) battle a pair of werewolves who have captured two victims. Just as the brothers are about to win, one of the werewolves shoots Sam. Dean gets his brother and the victims out of the house but learns a pack of werewolves are hot on their tail, hoping to kill them all. Episode 17:
Cabin in the woods. Sam and Dean fighting with guys. Monsters. Sam gets shot. Dean kills the guy with the gun. Sam falls.
48 hours earlier.
MoL HQ. Dean reading. Sam on a laptop. A case. 5 missing campers. Body minus a heart. Dean says we make a call and put somebody on it. Sam says w'll get him back. Dean asks how? Sam says I don't know. We need to get out of here, clear our heads. This is a case, let's work it.
Dean has a first aid kit. Will dig the bullet out of Sam. Gives him gauze to bite down on. Digs the bullet out. We'll keep that. 2 campers hanging from the ceiling. Dean gets the keys. Lets them down. Goes back to Sam. Keep pressure on that. Asks for a land line. No signal for miles. Dean had a signal at the car. He'll go for it. The couple wants to come with Dean. Dean says my brother can't stay here alone. Sam gets up. I'm fine. Dean helps him out.
Boys at a bar. We're in the right place. Dean says we're running out of things to interrogate unless you want to talk to the trees. Sam suggests talking to the rangers. Bartender says check out the easement cabins in the park. Points it out on the map. Sam thanks her. Boys leave. Get in the car.
Now. Walking to the car. Sun will be up soon. Sam's not doing well. That roadhouse chili was a bad idea. Camper spots something. Another building. Look for a radio or phone. Sam leaning. Dean finds matches. Lights lanterns. Sam pulls one close. He's in a lot of pain. Couple wants to keep moving. Those of us that can. He's slowing us down. 3 lives vs. one. Sam says he's right. Go. Find help. Come back for me. Dean says no. He's going to build a litter and carry Sam the rest of the way. Only a couple of miles.
Werewolves in the cabin. Find the dead. Clean up their mess and we'll get gone, the bartender says.
Dean gathering sticks.
Sam tells them to go find Dean. Get out of here. Please go. Man says he won't leave ya and we won't last without him. He tries to smother Sam.
Dean sees car lights.
Sam tries to fight. Man says he's sorry, but keeps smothering until Sam passes out. Feels for a pulse. The woman comes over. Is he... Dead.
Dean returns and finds Sam dead. Sammy? Sam? Car coming. Couple is afraid. Dean says let 'em come. The man says you stay, you die, and so do we. He's gone. I'm sorry, but he's gone. Help us, please. Dean tells Sam I'mm gonna come back for you, okay? I promise. They leave. Dean crying.
Werewolf truck. They see the 3 in the woods.
Sam and Dean in the woods. Sam says it could be like camping. Dean's not enthusiatic.
Daylight. Dean trying to get signal. Couple behind him. Man tells the woman that I did what I had to do. Dean tries to flag passing cars. It's a truck. Ranger. She needs medical attention right away. Dean need to get to his car and brother. Ranger says you'll make time and tases him.
Dean in the hospital with broken ribs and a nasty concussion. Doc tells him to get some rest.
Man telling the sheriff what happened. Michelle says the werewolves are still out there. That guy saved us and so did his brother. Sheriff will talk to the rangers. Man says we made it. She turns away from him. Doc wants to look at him. He says he's fine. She tells him to sit on the bed. Closes the curtain. There's a bite on his arm!!! What did this? How do you feel? He feels.......good. Oh no.
Sheriff on the phone. Pick up. Ranger is dead with a clawed face.
Michelle comes to Dean in the hospital. Can I? Sure. She wanted to see how he's doing. And to tell you... I'm sorry. You saved our lives and.....My Mom used to say....death is not the end. Dean looks like he has an idea.
Need to talk to a scary crazy death machine. Werewolves are the only monsters out there. She asks how. He says easy. I die. He gets it if she wants to leave. She asks this will work? He says it has to.
**Oh, Dean, you guys have had SO many problems because you won't let each other stay dead! This is the hunter life, dude. Things happen eventually and you die.
Sam still on the floor. He gasps. Coughs.
Dean prepares pills. Tells Michelle to get the doc and bring me back if she can. If not, no hard feelings, okay? She says you don't have to do this. He says yeah, I do.
Sam tries to pull himself up. Manages it, then falls. Hears a car. Struggles to the window. It's a truck.
Werewolf truck. Bartender.
Michelle asks Dean how he feels? He's woozy.
Sam goes down stairs. Falls.
Dean passes out. Michelle hurries to the doc.
Sam bleeding a LOT. Gasping for breath.
Doc gets to Dean. He's spitting up foam. She gives directions to Michelle. Dean is seizing.
The husband is becoming wolfy. The bite is gone. The scratches on his chest disappear. He grows claws.
Werewolf man kicks in the door. Looks around.
Sam hears him above.
Werewolf sniffs. Heads for the basement door.
Sheriff joins them. Doc rolls Dean over. Dean sees the scene freeze. Reaper arrives. She's savoring this. She's surprised this is the way she's going. Never took you for the suicide type. Doesn't fit your whole martyr thing. Dean says I need Sam back. She says pass. Dean says the Darkness is out there and that's the end of everything, including you. Sam's the only one that can stop it. She asks how? he can't answer. She says you're doing this for you. You can't lose him. Even if Sammy could win the title belt, the answer is no. The answer will always be no. No more second chances. Time to say bye-bye to Luigi, Mario. Dean begs her to bring Sam back and take him instead. She's here to reap him, not bargain. And the kicker is, Sam's not dead, but you are, or will be soon enough. Come along now, Dean. It's time. The empty, it's waiting.
Dean gasps conscious. The doc saved him.
Werewolf in the basement. Looks around. Where's Sam?
Bartender upstairs.
Werewolf can't find.....Sam stabs him from behind. She hears the noise and comes down.
Sam gets upstairs with their keys!
**Damn, that boy's fighting to live now. There was a point he would've surrendered to this already, but not today.
They get Dean up. he's alive. Sam? Thank God. Sheriff arrests him. Sedate him. Doc says no. He asks to talk to her outside. Michelle helps Dean get loose.
Doc says more drugs could kill him. Sheriff says fine. Keep an eye on him. I'll call for back-up.
Sam stops the truck. At the Impala. Tries to use his phone.
Dean checks his phone. It rings. Sammy? Yeah. What happened? Where are you? Urgent Care on 54. Sam's signal dies.
Sam gets in the Impala. Starts the engine. Drives.
Doc hears screaming. Hello? You okay? Man opens the door. She sees his claws. He's got the teeth, too. I really am. He attacks her.
Michelle hears a scream. Finds the doc. Sheriff gets killed. Werewolf approaches Michelle. Hey, baby, please don't be scared of me. It's happened and it feels so.....you'll see. We'll be together forever. She doesn't want this. Dean tackles him and tells her to run. Werewolf attacks Dean, trying to strangle him. Werewolf shot. By Sam! Dean says Took you long enough. LOL. Sam falls.
Dean finds Michelle. Hey. Hi. Sits with her. How ya doin? She asks how's your brother? Doc says when Corwin choked him, he went into shock, so he was just mostly dead, but he'll be okay. She says must be nice. That wasn't.....Corbin wasn't a killer. He did it for me. Dean says this will be very hard, but you will be okay, and eventually you'll get back to normal. She says no I won't. They said I could leave an hour ago, but....where am I even supposed to go? After everything we survived together, I watched the man I love die. There's no normal after that.
Dean and Sam leave the hospital. Stitches gonna hold? Yeah, professional grade. Couple days in bed and some antibiotics and I'll be good as new. Sam asks what did you do when you thought I was dead. Dean jokes about redecorating. Sam asks seriously. Dean says I knew you weren't dead. I knew. Right. They drive away.
Next ep - Crowley meets with the boys. Amara is going to delete the universe. Lucifer in Heaven.
