Daisy goes to battle Ghost Rider at a terrible cost, and Coulson faces the new Director, and his bold agenda surprises them all, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.

Episode 2:
A little boy's room. Ghost woman there while he sleeps. A noise wakes him. He goes into the hall to the living room and sees her. Calls for dad. There was a ghost in there! Friendly or not friendly? Not friendly. A picture frame is broken on the floor. The woman tells them to get out of the house. She rushes at the father. Then he sees what May's been seeing.
Ghost Rider car. Daisy follows it in the van. Reyes arrives at work. He spots the van on the street.
Simmons and Fitz. Discussing the box. Fitz thinks something is in there outside the visible spectrum. He's never seen tech like this. Mack thinks he knows. Tells them about the father at the ER. The ghost in the house walked through him. Mack shows them footage from the gang buying the box. The ghost on camera.
May and Coulson. Waiting to see the new director. May says it'd still be your job if you put up half a fight. Coulson says the Zephyr feels like home.
Reyes spots the van again. Goes to it. She's not there.
In the office. Daisy talking to his boss. Robbie asks what she's doing there? She hints at the flames. Heh.
Robbie and Daisy. He's looking at her van. She says she tracked him down to talk. He says she's out of her mind. You don't know me. She's researched him. Robbie tells her to get lost or he'll get angry. She breaks something on the car so she won't be leaving soon.
May and Coulson get into the office. Director greets Phillip. Jeffrey. Agent May. Director clears the room to talk to them. Jeffrey says loyalty is a good thing. You impress me. May is surprised. jeffrey says a team that trusts is a team that triumphs. Coulson figures Daisy is a problem because of the public trust. Jeffrey says public opinion matters a great deal. I don't want your friend to be responsible for destroying everything you've built here. He tells May to leave for a minute. Wants to talk to Coulson alone. I have a special assignment for you.
Fitz and Mack and Simmons discussing the ghost woman. The alloy of the box was only made in 3 places in the world. Pasadena. Mack will get a jet. Fitz will come. Simmons has work to do. For a tour.
Coulson wants to be in the field instead of the base. Jeffrey says the SSR trivia is where you shine. We both know why I have this job. But I don't have your anonymous funding. I can't impress everyone myself. Please.
Ghost woman in a building. Enters a room. A lab? Goes to computers. Opens a box. Lets another ghost out. Hugo. What happened? What did he do? Hugo. What? His hand is see through. Where are the others? She says trapped in the cells like us. He says we have to pay, we have to find him. She says we've been in there for years.
Robbie asks Daisy what she wants. She says some of your kills work out. The watchdogs hunt Inhumans. He says it's not what I am. He says I sold my soul. Devil is the only one buying, you know. He's done talking. Want to turn me in? Try it. I have nothing to lose. She brings up the little brother. Boss has to leave. Robbie says I'll lock up. Robbie tells her she shouldn't have mentioned his brother and the wrench flames up.
Daisy says it doesn't have to go this way. He's coming at her. With a muffler. Hits her arm and she goes down.
May tells an agent training in 10. She sees Jeffrey and Coulson on the tour. Base built in 1949. Peggy Carter oversaw the construction of this base. May sees the faces again.
She goes to the gang leader. How do I help them? He says you can't. It's everywhere! And beats his head on the glass over and over. Simmons gases him out. May leaves.
Quinjet. Mack and Fitz. Mack isn't crazy about the new paperwork. He also doesn't like the long deployments. Fitz says they land in an hour.
Ghosts are out of the boxes and mad. There's a book. Hmm. She says we'll find it and "him".
Robbie has Daisy tied up. Her arm is fractured. He's looking through her stuff. He's never been caught. Knowing who I am is a problem, a problem that has to go away. He knows she has a death wish. He's looking for proof that she deserves it like she said.
One ghost has no voice. He's very upset. The woman will find the book and reverse what was done to us. Hugo and Vincent. She says they'll look for Joe. Lucy. One ghost wants to destroy the facility.
Robbie wonders what haunts Daisy. Fighting to right every wrong, begging to be taken out. Penance. We're not so different. You feel bad for the dead. I don't feel anything. She says you would've killed me by now. Why did you hunt those skinheads down. He says they spilled innocent blood. She says they worked with the Chinese. You're not interested who's uniting them? They won't stop until a lot of people are dead. They stole from the lab in Pasadena. It's been shut down for years. Robbie duct tapes her mouth and leaves. Hmm. She breaks free and hurts her arms. Follows him. Lands on his car. Hanging on. He flames up and she falls off.
May doesn't look well.
Jeffrey and Simmons. She was 15 minutes late for the meeting. Ooops. Jeffrey asks what kept her. Feel free to smile and nod. She was in the containment rooms. One official wants to see them. Couson says not the best idea. Simmons says there was an incident. Not a great time. Jeffrey takes them to see a Quinjet. Coulson asks her about Chen. She says talk to May.
Mack and Fitz in the building. Creepy. Fitz finds a current spike. Mack opens the door. The lab. Fitz looks through the computers. Mack shoots at a ghost. Where'd he go?
May in the locker room. Coulson finds her. She says something is in the base. Something getting to everyone. She won't let them take you. Coulson wants to make a plan. She says no time. She's frantic. He says we have blood samples on file. We just have to go to the lab. She agrees.
Fitz tells Mack to not let them touch you. Fitz says the reactor is going to blow. Mack is locked in the chamber. Uh oh! Fitz says we can help you. Ghost says no you can't.
May gets suspicious. Coulson says there's a situation. She hits him. She's seeing the faces again.
May fighting the agents. Coulson says she's sick, don't hurt her. She's beating them up. Coulson, too. Coulson pleads with her. You're not well. I can help. She says she's doing what has to be done. She tries hitting him and he's not affected. She calls him a monster. He prefers the term Inhuman. WHOA. He knocks her out after an apology. Coulson says too bad you can't put that on the tour. Not yet.
Fitz and Mack. Ghost won't go back. It was hell in there. Robbie shows up and grabs the ghost. Flames out. Mack pleads to be let out. Fitz says the door is stuck. Daisy breaks it open. Robbie consumes the soul. Reactor off. Ghost Rider takes a photo. Daisy stops Mack from confronting him.
Daisy's break patched up. She says he's not an Inhuman. Not sure what he is. Mack says he's a killer. She's not sure he's all bad. He saved Fitz's life. Mack asks her to come home. We can heal those bones faster. You already have it, don't you? It's Yo-Yo. She's in touch with you this whole time. We've been out there looking for you, trying to protect you. Why are you doing this? Fitz yells at her. She's turned her back on us! She says she's doing what she needs to do. Mack says it still affects us, like it or not. She thanks him for the splint and leaves.
Tour wants a photo with Jeffrey. Coulson takes it. Jeffrey says this was all confidential. You signed an NDA. Safe ride home, my friends. Coulson has a plan for May. Jeffrey has it handled. Coulson says his experience can help. Jeffrey says you wanted a new face. Steve Rogers went AWOL. When it comes to May and Daisy, you can't be objective. So you focus on being the best agent we've got and I'll be the best director I can. Coulson asks about the treatment. Director says that's classified.
May is in a straight jacket and screaming get away from me in a Quinjet. Where are they taking her??
Daisy in the van. It won't start. Robbie pulls up. Your friends with you? No. Good. You want to know what's connecting these things? I think it might be me. He opens the car door. She gets in. They drive away.
Next ep - Power fails in the city. War on Inhumans. May dying. Simmons works to save her. Oct 11!
