Episode 4:
Blood taken. Kasius says I rescued humanity. Sacrificed to do it. I saw it for what it could be. Now, thanks to you, that vision has come to fruition. Daisy asks what more do you need from me? Kasius found humans clinging to their fairy tales. The Old Ones told tales about SHIELD coming from the past to rescue them. Then you arrive. And Jemma. Perhaps you're more than a fairy tale. Daisy says no one else (is here). He thinks she's here to help him. Word of her presence has peaked much interest. With the price he'll fetch for her, he'll finally be able to leave. She asks what makes you think I'll go along with that? He says your friend's face is so beautiful. Don't you want to make sure it stays that way?
May's flights are shut down. Coulson at work. Mack. YoYo says there's no sign of Daisy on this floor. Mack gets shorted. Boss says make sure we meet our quotas by the end of the day. Except you. Tells Mack to rough up Gunnar. He owes me. In debt to me and getting tech from the Blues? Don't like that. Have you looked in a mirror? You're a beast. Go be one.
Daisy brought to see a fight. Older man vs a young one with no shirt. It's training sparring. Meat is grown in a lab. Daisy asks if he read her thoughts. He heard them after Terrigenesis. She says not cool to do that without permission. He says I hear what I hear. But kinda cool when they turn it off. Like now. Daisy stay, for a private viewing.
Mack tells Coulson and YoYo. Coulson tells Mack and YoYo to go to Level 35.
Daisy not impressed with the fight for entertainment. Kasius' profit. She's told to demonstrate. She tosses the man. He says that wasn't what I meant. The Lady is impressed. Offers a bid now. Kasius says that's lovely. But discussion of price will be over dinner. Safe journey home to your.....grim little rock. Deke hanging around. Kasius holds up a coin. Worth more than all his credits upstairs. Kasius thanks him for Quake. Sinara is concerned about the prophecy. Deke says it wouldn't be such a mystery if you didn't kill everyone who knew about it. How can I help? Kasius wants to know about any other time travelers. I'd be grateful and generous. Deke leaves.
Daisy grabs the telepath. He's come to terms. He says the others don't know. Can never know. Our families get compensated once we're gone. Survival is everything. THIS IS LIFE. Otherwise, our families pay the price. Pay the game. And if they pit us against each other, try to win. Because I will.
Deke. Coulson and May grab him. We need to talk. Deke wanted to find them. He says he was with Daisy a couple hours ago. May says she never checked in or came back. Deke makes up a story about spy stuff. Sorry I don't have her, I wish i did. Coulson asks about Level 35. He's never seen 35. Coulson hopes to find tech. We need to investigate the surface. Deke says what is wrong with you? Are you suicidal? Coulson tells him Virgil was communicating with the surface and plays a recording. Deke will go get some things. Finding those people is in everyone's best interest.
Mack and YoYo. Be casual. She tells him to spit it out. He's not happy about having to be a heavy. She says I'll choose you over the dead guy every time. Mack doesn't want us to lose ourselves here. She says we protect ourselves to survive. this is real life. She grew up in a city like this. Learned from it. Don't have to hurt this guy to scare him. We won't lose ourselves, I promise.
Sinara here.
Kasius. Jemma deaf. He speaks to her. I'm thirsty. She goes to a pitcher of water. Sinara grabs her. Drops a device at her feet.
Now Jemma is standing next to Kasius when Daisy is brought in. Kasius is disappointed about the hidden truth. Jemma had another friend. Daisy says Simmons can't hear me for some reason. Kasius wants the truth. Brings the telepath to read her.
**The telepath Inhuman has the same implant behind the ear Abby had to turn the powers on and off. Since the Kree made Inhumans in the first place, of course they have tech to control them in the future.
Daisy says it's just me and Simmons. Kasius asks Jemma who the woman was that helped her. She says I have no idea. Lots of people in the Exchange that day. Teep says they're telling the truth, both of them. Sinara not pleased. Kasius asks if they came through time together or separately. Daisy says we came through together. No one else. Just else. He asks for the story. Spare no detail. Daisy says we were alone. We lost Jeffrey Mace. Fitz killed him. He was going to leave SHIELD. I took Jemma out alone to a diner. Some guys grabbed us, knocked us out, and boom, we ended up here. Kasius asks for the same story. Best be a stoty in perfect accord with hers. Jemma talks about Fitz, Mace, the team breaking up. The diner talk alone. Men came. Grabbed us, knocked us out, and we ended up here. Teep nods. Kasius satisfied. Teep removed, then Daisy. Sinara concerned. Kasius says we have preparations to make. Remember, you're not the only one working on this.
Deke says we can get below Level 35 and get in. You guys hang tight. He floats and goes up. Then brings them to the level. Hold the applause. May doesn't trust him.
Teep covered for Daisy and Simmons. He told Simmons what Daisy said. Kree don't know he can do that. He read Kasius, too. What'd you see? Shame. He hates this place. He's leaving, wanting it all erased. Killing everyone. But he also sees how powerful Daisy is.
They find Grill's target. YoYo takes point.
Coulson, Deke, and May in a lab. There's a Kree in the next room.
guy tells them to relax.
Coulson wants something they can use. They hear something. roaches? Deke says no.
Mack says we'll grab the package if you don't play nice. Gunnar says no. I'll kill you.
They find.....a baby! In an incubator. Deke says a lot of vacancies lately. Must be time to fill them.
**What kind of prenatal care is in this place? Unless you sterilize humans, you can't keep us from breeding. Children will be born. We haven't seen how they handle pregnant women here, yet. Obviously, the station isn't overfull, so the population control is working to manage numbers. So sad.
Tells them the threats are sick. YoYo points out the stuff on the floor. Baby stuff. Who threatens a child? Who would take a baby away? Gunnar says kids are rare here. I hope you never get the privilege. People like you don't deserve a child. Mack hits him a few times. Gunnar says see? Mack leaves.
Coulson says newborns are a commodity? Deke says people don't get pregnant anymore. Coulson wonders if the pop is sterilized? Deke says we thinks it's through the food. He was one of the last born the natural way. Kasius is trying to get more Inhumans. More valuable. He's not selling rocks here. May found something. Him. Hits Deke. The lab got a sample. DAISY. Holding her since yesterday. Coulsons says Why would you lie about seeing Daisy this morning unless you sold her out? Deke says it's more than.... Kree come in. Coulson and May fight them. Way stronger than Coulson. Deke gets stabbed. May gets one. She and Coulson take care of the other. Then get Deke up. More coming. May offers to hold them off. Coulson says you're leg, you're not 100%. She says Go. I got this. Go! The door opens for Sinara! Her balls float.
They fly at May. She hits them with the ax. Fights Sinara. Sinara kicks her. May up and fighting. Sinara slams her on a table. Gets one ball back. May stands.
Coulson stops Deke's bleeding. Hits him in the face. Where's Daisy. Deke says I HAD to. Trust me, it's safer with her out of the mix. Coulson says you made a profit. You don't want to help the people on the surface. Deke says you don't know me! I was 9 when my mother was murdered. Kasius killed her as an elder. My father took up the torch. He got sent to the roaches like the rest of them. Which is why it was strange to hear his voice. I don't Just want you to succeed, I need you to take me with you. Coulson says nice story. But I want you to prove what you say. Deke asks how? Coulson says Start with the payment you got for Daisy. Deke hands it over. Coulson says it buys you time. But we're safer without you in the mix. Mack welds the door shut with Deke in the room. No May, yet.
Gunnar given the coin for his new family.
YoYo tells Mack to stop standing around. Grill will be back soon. Ready to talk, yet? He says not much to say. She says Gunnar hit your weak spots. He doesn't know what you lost. You're a great dad. Mack says what if I'm not. Hope never came home. It took me weeks to clear out her nursery. But this Hope, my Hope, in the Framework, she.....this is harder. I miss her so much. It's so much worse. He's crying. I survived the pain of losing my real child, but can't get over the pain of losing my fake one. Maybe Gunnar was right. She says your love for Hope was real. That makes you a great father and a good man. We'll get through this place intact, okay? Grill is happy. He got paid off. Glad to have you, Mack. You're twice the beast I thought you were. You fit right in. Ouch.
Sinara to Kasius. You've dealt with our newest guest? She nods. The party starts. Kasius. Someone will win Quake. Her power will be your power. So, any requests as we begin? Man in a mask says forget your exhibition. She's a destroyer of worlds. FITZ!!!!! She should fight to the death.
Next ep - Fitz's story. Hunter returns. Escape plan. Trying to get to his friends.
