Nick Blood Returns as Lance Hunter

"Rewind" - With the surprising help of Lance Hunter, nothing will stop Fitz from finding the lost team as his incredible journey is revealed, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," FRIDAY, DEC. 22 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie, and Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez.

Guest starring are Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, Joel Stoffer as Enoch, Catherine Dent as General Hale, Lola Glaudini as Polly Hinton, Lexy Kolker as Robin Hinton, Zibby Allen as Lt. Episode 5:

 

Diner. Fitz picking at the food. Jemma says you're not eating. He's not hungry. Coulson says it's the first time together in a long time. Waitress offers pie. Lights off. They assume arrest. Fitz wants to take full.....the team is gone and the lights are back. Sirens. Soldiers arrive. Where are the other 6? Where did they go?! Fitz is taken. He yells his innocence and he needs to find them.

He's being interrogated. Where did they go? Fitz doesn't know. It wasn't on the security camera. What happened during those 2 minutes? Did you help them escape with new SHIELD tech? Fitz DOES NOT KNOW HOW THEY GOT AWAY? He thinks You did it! You're messing with their minds like you're messing with mind, so tell me, where the Hell are they? Who the Hell is in charge here?! A woman comes in. Brings up Talbot. Fitz says that was an LMD. AIDA built it and it answered to her. She asks if it killed Dr. Radcliffe and Jeffrey Mace. Fitz says no, Mace was my fault, I'm responsible. She says if he doesn't cooperate, he'll be here a long time.

He's put in an orange jumpsuit. In a cell. Then grabbed for a surprise lie detecting. He doesn't know where the team is. Or what happened to them. I swear I'll do anything I can to help you find them, if you let me. he's telling the truth. Maybe we let his brain work for us. Papers, pens, books, and a TV to watch soccer. Make sure that's all he watches.

Fitz gets meals. Push-ups. Works and works. Sit-ups, crunches. Door opens. What do you have for us this morning? He may have suffered from a type of schizophrenia. And I blocked the memory. She says the people at the diner all had the same lapse in memory. It wasn't you. Okay. He needs more books. And can you post this? A letter to a soccer fanzine.

They agree to send it.

Fitz marking the days. Working out. Writing on the walls. Yelling at soccer. Uses monkey faces for the days. Gives more to the officer.

More books brought to him. Letter to the editor.

6 MONTHS. He's racking his brain. But, I think..... They say he's out of time. We want an answer. Fitz says they were abducted by aliens. Commander says no more books, no more TV. You've wasted our time. Phone rings. What? How? It's his attorney. The door opens. HUNTER. Get my client out of here.

Fitz had been trying to contact Hunter through the soccer fanzines! 6 MONTHS! I missed you. You too, mate. They hug. Awww. Fitz didn't want to let go. You're in one of those secret doesn't exist places. But the law is the law. Fitz has a plan to escape. Hunter says move 2 meters to your left. Come forward. Wall explodes. Come on, let's go. Running out. Rusty the pilot crashes the helicopter. Rusty was supposed to get their attention while we get away on the ground. Hunter brings him to an old RV. Clothes and your phone. You're welcome. It starts. And blows black smoke.

Commander not happy. Analyze the fanzine letters. The RV was spotted on surveillance.

Fitz looking at news on his phone. Hunter got the story. Says his life has been boring in comparison. He and Bobby nearly got married again. Together forever. Just doing our own thing. Distance is our savior. How about you and Simmons? Distance is our curse. Fitz needs to find the truck that vanished. Hunter says you're in the right van. Rusty thought everyone was spying on him. Plenty of bells and whistles, thank you, Rusty.

Watching the video outside the diner. Until it goes blank. In a 2 mile radius for those 2 minutes. Other trucks on other cameras. Same truck with different labels.

The alien's house. They come in. He's expected them. Hunter says act surprised. Fitz says you were at the diner. Where are they? 2091. Earth year. Office. Alien writing on the walls. He pulls up video of them leaving in the monolith. Who the hell are you? Alien was sent here 30,000 years ago. Anthropologist. He's from Cignus. He fulfilled a prophecy. They were needed in the future. Why not me? Fitz wasn't part of the prophecy. Fitz wants to go. Alien didn't know who opened the monolith. Fitz says take me to the seer. Or your future ends now.

Park. The alien is trying to help. You did not need to threaten me. Fitz apologizes. He points there.

Soldiers get to the house.

Woman greets the alien. Fitz recognizes her. I'm with SHIELD. Can I sit? Little girl is Robin. I'm friends with Daisy.

What are we dealing with here? Is there a kid's room in this house? Nope. Single male lives alone. She says the magic crystal ball is a child.

Hunter says you're a very good artist. Can I have a look? Robin drawing very actively lately. Soldiers coming. Ear things. Alien makes them disappear. We just lost a half hour of time.

In the RV. Think we lost them. Not for long. We need a place to lay low. Alien will take them to where he took the others. Lake Ontario. Under a lighthouse. Unknown how far down the elevator goes. Who built it? Unknown.

Updating the commander. The girl might be able to tell secrets. Find her and control her. Best to have her on our side. We need every weapon in this fight.

You are the only 4 humans that know of this place. She's not safe outside anymore. Fitz says why not ask her what's next? Robin gives answers in her own time. Best to not interfere. But you sent my friends into the future! Alien sent them to prevent an extinction level event. What? What happened? Unknown.

**I'm guessing Talbot will be in a coma as long as Adrian Pasdar is on "Supergirl". Though his screen time there has been limited so far.

Fitz looking at Jemma pics on his phone. Hunter eating. Sad, isn't it? Can't save the world. Can barely save myself. How do you know them? Fitz tells him about the Inhuman father. When he touched someone, he saw their death. Daisy was convinced she could change his future. So, you and Simmons? Yeah, we're together. Even looked for a place together. Hunter says congrats. Fitz thinks the universe doesn't want them together. Hunter says you're perfect together. Fitz says it's protecting her from me. From what's inside me that happened in the Framework. Got people killed. Hunter says every light needs a shadow. Fitz says I'm too much of a risk to them, to Jemma. Hunter says ask the one that kicked you off the guest list.

He brings food to the mom and Robin. He asks why I wasn't supposed to go with them? She doesn't say much since Terrigenesis. Past, present, future is all mixed up. Sometimes she doesn't know I'm her mother. Enoch has been helpful. Helped me understand. We can try. Robin, Mr. Fitz brought breakfast, and he's like to know why he's not with his friends. He'd really like to know why he's not with them. Robin says because you have to save them. She gave him a picture.

Enoch says it's prophecy now. Fitz asks how do I get to them? I came in a small capsule. It was discovered. It's in Blue Raven Ridge. Hunter says we just broke out of it. Fitz says hate to say it, but we have to break back in.

Hunter not happy about it. Never walk back into a place as two different people. Didn't have much time to make the IDs. Rusty and Jimmy. You break it, we fix it, and charge the military markup. LOL. Guard says all clear. They're in.

They change into fatigues. Hunter says once we do this, no turning back. They release the ferrets! LOL. Perimeter alarms. Fitz says we'll be alone in here. Hunter says fine, until we need to get out. They find the large crate. Dusty space capsule. Let's get this back on the truck. Hunter says we don't need a truck. Turns the lights on. There's a plane!

The bus! Memories. Always felt like home. Hunter says the odds, my friend, are not in your favor. Find icers. And shoot the soldiers. Fitz tells Hunter to activate take-off. I'll hold them off. Go!

Bus hovers above the hangar and cloaks and flies away.

Commander says you have continually let me done. I don't trust you anymore. You're demoting us? No. She kills them! Calls a cleaning crew.

Fitz sets up stuff waiting for him when he gets there. Cryo-freeze chamber. Sleep for 74 years. Hunter does not like the plan. Enoch has summoned a vessel to orbit Earth with Fitz until he wakes up. Bobby and Hunter will look after Robin and her mother. Fitz and Hunter hug goodbye. Hunter doesn't want to let go this time. Fitz gets in the pod. Enoch freezing him. Hunter says I love you. Fitz says I know.

**They had to make the Star Wars quote. LOL.

Ship. 74 years later. Millions of miles from the lighthouse. Fitz wakes up. Enoch greets him good morning. Rise and shine. Enoch put a plan in motion. We have a few days before arriving at the lighthouse. Time to prepare you. For? To face the most brutal mobsters and monsters in the galaxy. I hope you have it in you. Hands him a mask. Fitz says I have it in me.

Next ep - 2 weeks. Prepare for a duel to the death. Alright, you freaky blue bitch. Let's do this.
