DAVID RAMSEY GUEST STARS - John Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) arrives in Central City with a weapon to help Barry (Grant Gustin) stop the Godspeed War. Meanwhile, Allegra (Kayla Compton) and Ultraviolet's (guest star Alexa Baraja Plante) new bond is put to the ultimate test, while Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Kristin Kramer (guest star Carmen Moore) are hunted by a former colleague of hers. Marcus Stokes directed the episode written by Kristen Kim & Dan Fisk (#716). Original airdate 7/6/2021.

The city is in chaos and the hospitals overwhelmed. Stay indoors. Barry wants to go out there and fight. Nora arrives. Something's wrong! Our family, the future, it's all changed. You have to do something before it's too late! Barry wakes from another dream. What's happening?
Godspeeds around the city. People attacked all over the city, seemingly at random. Chester is freaked. Flash returns. Godspeeds ambushed him. Barry's hurt. Iris is home sick and resting still. Can we figure out when the Godspeeds come back next? Barry says there's no clue what these clones want. How do we stop a civil war when we don't know why they're fighting it? Cecile can't reach Joe. Chester says the Godspeeds are creating a Farraday Cage. No one can get signals out.
Joe and Kramer got out of the burning car. Adam is tracking them. They're hiding behind a tree. She recognized Adam's pulse rifle. Joe has no cell signal. They need to keep moving.
Barry has 6 broken ribs and internal bleeding. Caitlin asks what's really bothering him. He tells her about the dream. I'm really worried. Godspeed was Nora's enemy from 2049. What if it means she doesn't exist anymore? Caitlin says you could go check on her. He wants to, but it could create another Flashpoint. And he wouldn't be here when the Godspeeds attack again. John Diggle walks in! I brought you something. What is it? If we're lucky, a way to end this war before people are killed.
John opens the case. Entropy Trap. Hopefully it'll save your city. Chester is geeking out over Diggle. Cisco made the device. John volunteered to come. This motion detection plate has a response time of a pecosecond. Stand back. John tosses a ball and the plate freezes it in time. Barry says if we could trap one of the Godspeeds and question it....? He wants to catch one and bring it back. The new Godspeeds saved my life. John has a headache rush (again). Says he's fine.
Esperanza is good to go. Free. She's packing. Allegra doesn't want her to leave. You're going after Black Hole before your anesthesia wears off? Esperanza says evil does not wait. I have a chance to stop them now. Allegra keeps arguing. You're not strong enough to fight them! So help me! Allegra says it has to wait. The city needs me! Team Flash needs me! Esperanza thinks she doesn't have time. Allegra pleads with her to wait. Esperanza says Today I must walk alone and leaves. Cute girl without the mask.
Godspeed clones are back. Flash on the streets. Signal activated. His suit omits the frequency of the original Godspeeds. Flash gets a tail fast. Leading it to the plate. Flash drops into the ground and the Godspeed is trapped. Diggle dressed as Spartan. They gaze at the clone stopped mid-run. That's something you don't see every day.
**John Diggle's headache first presented on "Batwoman" this season. He saw a doctor in Gotham.
Godspeed clone in cell. John says it's a soldier. It'll talk when its ready and not a moment sooner. John's heard Cecille has leveled up. Allegra is blocking the clone's signal from talking to the others. Flash's about to give up when it says a translator will not be necessary. We have much to discuss, Barry Allen.
Joe and Kramer still avoiding Adam. She doesn't want to let him go. Joe doesn't want to go into a suicide mission. She's insisting, but won't ask him to go, too. Joe asks why would Adam try to kill her now? He doesn't know who he's hunting. They can use that.
Barry drops his mask. Why talk now? Clone says he needed to be sure. You are strong. You are the advantage we need to achieve our goal. to live! We did not ask to be born, but we do not want to die. The others will give Barry's speed to their master. Barry asks why bring your war here? Clones have to find August Heart in this time! We have the same goal. Stop one man from gaining power so great, it'll end us all. Join us and save this city. Save your family. Find him and kill him. Until he's dead, our freedom is compromised. Barry won't kill. Not even an enemy. So the clone breaks out, smashes the trap, and attacks Barry as an enemy. Allegra saves him and the clone leaves.

John asks if everyone's okay? Chester says the dampeners don't work on artificial metas. Barry says you have to fix this! Chester doesn't think he can. Barry yells at him. John asks for a moment alone. Tell me what's really got you so upset? It's my daughter Nora. She lived in 2049, the exact time's Godspeed's from. If August Heart is here, what does that mean for Nora and the future of our family? Is she even alive? I want to see with my eyes she's safe. But I can't. You know better than anyone why I can't. John says the most important job has been as a dad. There's not a bullet he wouldn't take or a time line he wouldn't risk for his family. They're my heart, my soul. Everything else be damned. Don't be afraid to do the same.
Cecille asks Barry how he's holding up? He tells her he needs to make sure Nora's okay. I'm going to run to 2049. She's been reading Nora's journal. Iris gave it to her. Iris was looking for August. Nora mentioned places personal to Heart. Iris thinks he's hiding at one of those. Cecille will go look. Barry says it's dangerous. Then she'll take John and Allegra with her.
Allegra isn't with them. She's not answering. John gets hit with a headache. Do you hear that? Drives him to his knees. Cecille taps into his mind and it's like a hurricane. John, whatever that was, was a hell of a lot more than a headache. It felt huge. No.....infinite. John, maybe you should stay here. He insists he's fine. The doctors in Gotham would've found it. I'll handle it when we're done here. Let's find Heart while we have the chance.
Comms aren't working in the Speed Force, but Barry will have mobile Gideon. He apologizes to Chester. Chester understands. Good luck. Barry runs. Enters the Speed Force. Temporal passage blocked by the clones. They blast Barry out of the Speed Force. Deon helps him up. We've got a lot to talk about.
**At least one of the Forces is relevant now.
**John found a Green Lantern ring at the end of Arrow and it seems he's put off answering the call to service.
**Barry needs one of the Legends' time travel devices for emergencies. No super speed required.
Deon, what's happening? The clones attacked me. They're feeding on pure Speed Force energy. But they can't keep it for long. Speed Force has her hands full dealing with them. Deon says it's solo trips only. Too busy for others. He doesn't have the strength. He's keeping Iris safe. She has more than a bad cold. Her eyes light up. She's moving in and out of our timeline. She's phasing through temporal planes. Deon's using all his stillness to keep her alive. Barry thanks him for looking out for them. She doesn't know how long to stay. And Barry has to leave. Deon has to take her again. Barry says you have to find a cure! Deon will. Barry says I love-- and they disappear.
Diggle has nanites courtesy of Ray Palmer. But his fight with doesn't last long. John's hearing Worlds AWAIT in his head. Different voices over and over. Frost saves him from getting killed by a clone. Cecille wants to take him back to Caitlin. But he doesn't want to quit.
Allegra reaches her cousin.
Barry returns to Caitlin and Chester. Is it Nora? No. It's Iris.
Allegra finds Esperanza and she's not well. You're....too late. Allegra says I should have chosen you the second you asked. Esperanza fought alone. Now I die alone. But I'm not afraid. Death is an extension of life. Allegra pleads her to stay. But Esperanza dies and becomes hot light. Disappears. Free will is a bitch, isn't it?
Clones running around. Frost says sure this is the right place? Last one on the list. Cecille senses a scared man. Hands her rifle to John. Are you alright? What's your name? The man doesn't know. Cecille says it's not safe. The man says I can't leave. This place is important. I can feel it. But he doesn't know why. Do you?
Kramer lured Adam. Her back is to him. He knows it's a trap. But he's died 17 times before. I can't be killed. She turns. Joe shoots a bolt on his leg. Kramer asks How could you do it? Adam says Kristin Kramer died in that explosion! She wants answers. If you were in trouble, I would've helped. Adam says the world is meant for me. I deserve it. Giving my life to the Army wasn't worth more than a kick in the teeth. Joe says you're the kind of meta that gives others a bad name. She wonders if she ever knew him at all. Adam says he only keeps half the money he's paid. He funds the kids where they came from. She's ready to shoot Adam. Joe tells her it's not worth it. She stands down.
Star Labs. If this is the real August Heart, shouldn't he be locked up at ARGUS? They need to figure him out to help Iris right now. Chester says the clones come back faster each time. If we're lucky, 90 minutes. Cecille only picks up fear from the amnesia. Caitlin says there are no signs of speed powers in August. His brain cells could have a temporary activation, but it's risky. Barry says as long as he agrees. Get the shot of dark matter ready.
Chester will figure out how to duplicate the tech. Diggle is ready to leave and return to the case to Cisco. Flashback to the Green. Now John has to deal with it. Barry gets it. But we could use all the help we can get. But John can't put this off any longer. They hug. Let us know if you need anything. Thanks. Barry, good luck. With everything.
Caitlin has the dark matter. August asks if it'll hurt. No. He needs to know who he is. Do it. Caitlin shoots him up. What is your name? My name is......my name......August.
Cecille tells Barry. The name is all we could get. His memory loss is too severe. She asks about 2049. He never made it. I can't check on Nora or help Iris. I've never felt so helpless. She says it's okay to be scared and angry. But save room for hope. We will get through this. Chester is going to help her reach Joe. Nora speeds in! it's really important, I promise. Barry hugs her. She says don't worry, Mom's going to be okay. I'm proof it works out alright. We both are. You and Iris? Um... You'll be twice as happy in just a second..... Dad, meet your son Bart. Who is SUPER enthusiastic.
