"Heart of the Matter, Part 1"
XS AND IMPULSE SURPRISE BARRY AND IRIS IN THE 150TH EPISODE OF "THE FLASH" - Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) greet their future children, XS (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy) and Bart (guest star Jordan Fisher), only for a shocking secret to threaten their new familial harmony. Episode 17 - episode 150:
Central City in the future. Godspeed taken down by Nora. Gideon, let CCPD know I've got Hart. He's back up and zaps her. Impulse saves her, phasing through him. She chews him out. He's a freshman in college. Bart, you have to stop pulling these crazy stunts! You're still learning your meta abilities! August Hart runs to the Flash Museum while they argue. Opens a portal on the Speed Treadmill. So the Allen kids rush after him.
Guy we chased through time has no speed and no memory now? And has a dozen clones? Chester is pleased to meet the kids. Nora says he's the smartest person they know. Helps Bart with his homework all the time. Then the kids rush Cecille for a hug. Hey, Caitlin! Barry wishes Iris was here to meet them. Nora says Mom will be okay. She says they can't stay. Protect the timeline at all cost. Barry says they can. the Godspeeds are recharging. Maybe they're the power we need to end the war. Chester found an idea from his dad's schematics.
Speedsters refueling. Bart lets out an epic belch. Nora asks if this is about the other Nora. Her parents told them about her. Caitlin tells them about an alert.
So all 3 go after Godspeed clones. Secure the area and make sure no civilians are in the way. Godspeeds focus on them. Barry says drain them. They all go after Bart as "the adversary".
Bart is surrounded. Then they leave and Barry and Nora arrive. She chews him out for not circling back. Barry asks why they followed Bart? What are you not telling me?
Barry wants answers! Nora says they can't talk about this. Barry doesn't care about the rules. Bart says Godspeed is my archnemesis. My Thawne. Barry says you can't throw his name around without knowing what it means. Bart knows what it means! Slamming the table. Nora plays peacekeeper. We'll be in the Speed Lab if you need us.
Chester finds Allegra. Barry and Iris's kids showed up from the freakin' future! You okay? She says yep. Chester says the Godspeed attack intervals are shorter and shorter. So he made his father's engine and needs Allegra to charge the battery. She leaves her coffee. I don't want it anymore!
Kramer talking about Adam. Joe can't reach Central City. I need to contact Cecille. Kramer has nothing else to tell the Feds.
Wally West is in deep meditation. Iris appears. Deon stabilized her. Barry hugs her. It's impossible without you here with me. She already knows the kids are here. Watching from the Still Force. She says it's incredible. Barry says you know who Godspeed is to Bart. If he's Bart's Thawne, what did he do to Bart? They agree they can't let him go out there until the war is over.
Keystone City. Jay and wife. He's got speed again. I'm rusty, but Barry needs all the help he can get. She has a patient in surgery. So watch your head. Doctor's orders. He puts his helmet on. And gets hit by a Godspeed blast. 6 of them are here. We want you!
Speed Lab. Nora chews out Bart about being serious about training. Barry and Iris arrive and he runs to her. Mom! Iris is happy to see them. Bart says Deon already told us about.... Never mind. Barry tells Bart. Iris confirms. It's personal. Bart apologizes for how he acted. But I can keep my cool. Right? Nora says you can't. Bart runs off. Nora says you've only known him for a few hours. I've known him for 19 years. I've got this. Trust me. She hurries after him. Iris and Barry think the kids are incredible.
Bart in Joe and Cecille's house. Godspeed didn't take Uncle Jay - he killed him. He killed Uncle Jay right in front of me. Yeah, sure, Dad and Uncle Wally taught me how to run and meditate. But Uncle Jay understood me. Sometimes you have to take a risk. Go with your gut. Impulsive, maybe, but sometimes it's right. He got me. Now he's gone. Nora says you've still got me and Mom and Dad. He wants to tell them what Godspeed did. She says Uncle Jay did say that stuff, but what would he want you to do now? Sometimes you have to take your hat off. See? Nora's sometimes right. She promises to take Godspeed down. Just stay here, okay?
August sees the Treadmill and it's familiar. He touches it and there's a spark. Caitlin asks if he's alright? He's been trying to understand how he ended up like this. Maybe there's a wife and kids somewhere. I don't know. Will I ever know who I am?
Allegra struggling with her powers. Chester comes in. Finish charging the solar panel and we go. Are you almost done? Battery isn't 10% charged. Should be 88% by now. Are you okay? She insists she's fine. Barry shows up. And charges the battery with kinetic energy. I need you two on comms with Iris. Runs out.
Device on the street. Barry in position. Nora being trailed by the clones. Now! They fall weak. But they recharge very quickly. And attack Barry and Nora. Barry taking all the brunt of it. Frost blasts them away from him. Nora's unconscious still. Clones getting up. Flash, we gotta go.
**Clearly, Allegra hasn't told them Esperanza died.
Star Labs. Nora insists she's fine. How did the Godspeeds recharge so fast and recover? Chester figures out Barry's lightning supercharged the device and they got a big dose of energy. 45 minutes tops before the next clones show up. Chester will try to get it up again. Bart returns. Eavesdropping. Nora wants to help. Barry says no. Nora's about to turn 30.......in 4 years. I'm the real adult! But the parents say no. Barry suggests locking them in a pipeline cell until this is over. Iris says we will if we have to.
Allegra sitting alone. Chester says the battery's not the problem. She's not omitting microwaves. She's blasting ultraviolet light like her cousin. That wavelength comes from anger or pain. You nuked your coffee and it was ice cold. You called me Chester and you never. Did you get in a fight with Esperanza? You can patch that up. Not this time. She's dead. I should've been there for her. Like I should be able to charge this stupid thing and I can't and people will get hurt and it's all my fault! Chester says it isn't.
Iris and Barry. He thinks there' s a curse on their family. Tragedy follows us everywhere. Maybe it's our legacy. It started with Thawne. Godspeed killed Nora's best friend. Now this one killed someone Bart loved. Barry says they have to break the chain. Iris says we will. Alarm alert.
Flash, turn over the Adversary now or the one he loves will die - Jay Garrick.
Barry tells Bart they have it under control. Bart disagrees. Chester says the Godspeeds are at a Cathedral. Nora insists Barry has to save him! Barry says WE have to save him.
Barrt arrives. The hat is there. I won't let it happen again. Clones arrive. Godspeeds attack. Bart is screaming. Barry and Nora arrive to see him levitated in pain. Jay is unconscious on the ground. Nora offers her speed. Buying you time. They run. Barry passes through the clone. It falls. Barry catches Bart. Jay's up. Nora returns. Clones, too. And more clones. They're surrounded. Jay says give em heck, Flash. Vibe opens the door. I leave town for 2 minutes. Blasts the clones. Cisco says it won't hold them long. Bart won't wake up.
Bart in a coma.
Nora feels guilty. This is what Godspeed always does. Caitlin tells them Bart is in a deep coma. Jay asks Barry how he knew how to stop him. Barry says it was Bart's idea. Whatever Bart's speed has left is keeping him alive. All we can do is wait. Cisco and Barry hug. Dig filled me in. Then hugs Jay. Barry tells them there could be hundreds of those things on the way. Jay suggests an entropy trap. Cisco says it won't work very long. They're too fast. Barry needs to unlock August's mind. Jay thinks it could work. Cisco and Frost ready to protect the city while Barry's under.
Joe asks Kramer to talk about Adam saying he saw her die. She says drop it. Putting it behind her. People are evacuating Central City. They almost get run into. Godspeed clones battle each other on their hood!
Cecille will guide them. Iris reminds Barry that the real August is a monster. Be careful. Cecille is ready. Barry and August wearing the hats. Barry offers August an out. August says I need to know, even if it's someone I despise. Jay turns it on. Cecille tells Barry to follow her voice.
Inside. Zauriel Cathedral. Barry walks inside. There's a throne. this is my mind! My place! My future sanctum! Congratulations, you finally found me. Well done. August expected him sooner. You must have so many questions. Good thing I have all the answers. This is going to be so much fun.
