“Summer School, Chapter Thirteen”
SEASON FINALE — As Eclipso (Nick Tarabay) unleashes the final part of his master plan, Courtney (Brec Bassinger), Pat (Luke Wilson) and the JSA band together to take him down once and for all. Yvette Monreal, Cameron Gellman, Anjelika Washington, Amy Smart, Trae Romano, and Hunter Sansone also star. Greg Beeman directed the episode written by Geoff Johns (#213). Original airdate 11/2/2021.
Episode 13 - season finale:
Eclipse over town. Are you afraid? You should be very afraid. I know you can see me for what I really am. Beth says our friends are coming. Bruce wants that. Eclipso says the power of darkness has been growing thanks to you, but I need the power of light. He tells Beth that her parents came here and it's going to kill them both. Beth and Chuck run to a room to see a black and white scene of Beth yelling hate at her parents.
Jenny seeing the nightmare of Courtney possessed. Barb comes in and asks if she's okay. Jenny tells her stop Courtney from going to Eclipso. It's what he wants! Barb says they've already gone.
Pat and Courtney and Yolanda and Cindy. There's a rip in the sky.
Rick works on the Hourman hourglass plans. Assembling something new under a magnifying glass. And struggling. He loses his temper.
Mike and Jakeem hear him upstairs at the garage. The robot is still not fixed. Zeke has bad news. Unless he gets a part, there's no getting it running. What are y'all doin'?
They find Bruce. He says your friends are busy watching Beth's parents die. Courtney tells Pat to go find Beth. The girls rush him and keep missing. Yolanda gets tossed by a vision of Ted Grant. Bruce has child Cindy. Yolanda has to fight Ted.
Stripesy vs. Pat in a hallway. Fake Pat gets punches in.
Ted taunts Yolanda about not having what it takes to get the job done.
Cindy is not afraid of little Cindy. They fight with shivs.
Yolanda fighting and losing.
Cindy doing better.
Courtney blasts Bruce with the staff. He keeps moving and saying she missed. He's going to merge the Shadowlands with Living Earth and become a god. Her fighting is frantic.
Pat getting beat up by Stripesy. You're never going to do anything but disappoint yourself. If you don't be yourself! Pat has the upper hand. Chuck tells him none of it is real, Pat!
Beth helps Courtney aim at the real Eclipso. Cindy and Yolanda's opponents disappear. Eclipso blasts at them all. Courtney and Shiv attack him. Tag teaming the damage. He tosses both out a window. They land not gracefully on the ground below. Eclipso never suffers.
Garage. Rick working on the hourglass again. But it still doesn't power up. He grabs a duffel and leaves to fight anyway. Zeke tells the boys that robot ain't going anywhere until tomorrow. Mike says Pat knew STRIPE wouldn't be fixed tonight. He went in without back-up. The genie finally returns with Chinese food. Egg rolls, pork fried rice, Peking Duck....
Eclipso outside. Heads to the clock tower. The sky is full of rifts.

Eclipso says he's on the edge of victory! And then gets tosses into a car. STRIPE is up and fighting! What up, bitch? Mike is piloting. He wished for the engine part. Pat gets outside. Zeke tells Mike to press that yellow button. We see he's got all the Chinese food on the table. Chainsaw on Eclipso. Then flamethrower. Smoke em if you got em! Jakeem lands on the street. Thunderbolt rambles. Jakeem wishes for him to electrocute Eclipso. She he flies through him and gets grabbed to get tossed into STRIPE. Eclipso leaps at Jakeem. Rick says leave him alone. Have you come to die? You have no super strength against me! Rick says I have super strength and it lasts more than an hour. Grundy! What is that? A friend. Grundy fights Eclipso briefly, then gets a hole blasted through his middle! Rick rushes at Eclipso and gets tossed. He lands unconscious.
Whitmore house. Jenny and Barb about to leave. Doorbell rings. Oh my god. It's you.
Pat gets to STRIPE. Mike says the controls are locked up. You need to reboot the system. Eclipso grabs Pat and twists his arm. Courtney arrives. Eclipso tells her to tell me how you feel or he dies! Say it! SAY IT! She yells I hate you! And he's thrilled. Grabs her throat. Everything he's done is to get the darkness within her. One thread of hatred is all I needed. You have chosen to embrace the darkness. He possesses her. She's purple and so is the staff. Eclipso wields the power of darkness and of light. Cackles in triumph. With control over both, I now merge our worlds into one so that I may be....
Beth and Chuck still seeing her parents. The Shade saved them! He's tip top. Saving your parents was a bonus. Shade has always had a flare for the dramatic. Come now! I'll see you outside. Beth's parents want explanations. She tells them to stay put. It's safer. Chuck says they should both be very proud.
Cindy heals herself. She and Yolanda see Courtney possessed. Yolanda says they will not kill Courtney. We get the staff and stop whatever's going on. Got it?! They attack Courtney. Fight him! Eclipso says only one can control the staff! Starman grabs it! Well....maybe two. They float in the air while everyone else arrives at the town center. Starman is catching up, but kid, you are chosen for a reason! Fight this monster! Eclipso tells Courtney she's unworthy and unloved. But we see all the memories pointing to the opposite. Pat yells at her to be herself! Sparks coming off Eclipso and Starman. Starman lands holding Courtney. The Sports family attacks Eclipso. Their daughter broken them out of prison after a call from Cindy. Eclipso says he's forever. I'm not finished. Shade says act quickly! The Light needs to act. Jakeem wishes Eclipso was toast. Courtney introduces herself to Sylvester. Eclipso is now actually toast. It's a little burnt, yeah.
on the porch. Finally feels like summer. Things will be okay as long as we're all together. Courtney asks Yolanda if she's back for good. I'm back. Rick has to leave soon. Things to take care of. Jenny, too. Beth has to say goodbye to Chuck.
Courtney talks to Pat about Starman in the basement. Pat's arm is in a cast and sling. Sylvester said he'll explain his death later. She says when he touched the staff, I could sense it and the staff could, too. She worries Starman will take the staff back. Pat says they'll figure it out. She thanks him. He says we beat Eclipso because of you. She says we had some help. He says yeah, but because of you. She says Eclipso was right about darkness in everyone. We feel anger or hatred even if we don't want to. But there's good in everyone, too. I believe in people even more. Starman says that's why the staff picked you. He's here to show her what the staff can really do.Pat says after summer school. Starman says superheroes don't need school.
Barb with Chuck and Beth upstairs. Beth found Chuck's wife. She was pregnant when everyone thought he died. You have a ten year old son. What happens if the world needs Dr. mid-nite again? He says they have one. Hands it over the Beth.
Mike and Jakeem passing out newspapers again. Mike can pilot STRIPE with supervision. How about we start our own thing? Let's tell Thunderbolt to deliver our papers and we talk about this like adults. Jakeem's kinda freaking out over the new reality.
Cameron finished the mural. His grandparents want to tell them the truth about his family. They ice up.
Church bells. Yolanda leaving. Cindy waiting for her. She likes it here. You do? No. Maybe I was wrong about embracing the dark side. It's the opposite, actually. Makes you think. you made mistakes and you got a pass. So I should get a pass. I want to join the JSA.
Rick burying Grundy in the woods. Shade says ironic, isn't it. The beast that killed your parents, you now mourn. Stop brooding. Grundy has a habit of coming back. You just have to bury him in the right place at the right time. Shade's not leaving. You young people are so very intriguing. I've taken rather a liking to Blue Valley.
Beth's parents are gushing over her. What about the divorce? They're rekindled. And the focus will be on the family. We'll be the best parents a superhero ever had. And they won't let her out of their site. A new costume! Yellow and black. Nano technology!
Jenny is in Mikwaukee. Sylvester in the basement. Courtney's last day of summer school. House next door sold. Doorbell. It's the Crocks. They brought blueberry muffins. What the...
