Episode 10:
The series finale.The last "previously on Superman & Lois"
Lana and John in the bar playing pool. Sarah's whole program is a year. Don't know how she and Kyle will pay for it. But Lana's excited for Sarah to travel the world. It's always hard not seeing the people you care about. She wins the game. Best of 3? John says he'd spend more time with her if he could. Yes. But they've only had 4 dates in several months. Maybe it's not meant to be. Building is shaking. John wants to head out to help Clark. Explosion at the doorway. Lana's ears ringing. She sees Doomsday outside.
Townspeople running. Lois yells at Amanda. There's no fixing Lex Luthor! Now everyone in town is in danger! Amanda says that's why they should run.
Doomsday slams Clark down at the baseball field. The boys save him. Clark yells at them for helping. He tells them to go keep everyone safe. Superman flies Doomsday up into the sky.
Lana finds John. He's injured. He wants to get to his garage. She's the mayor - she's not hiding this time.
Boys return to Lois. The fight slams into a helicopter in the sky. She takes cover as it crashes. Doomsday slams Clark into the pavement.
**Amazing use of budget in this last season.
Doomsday hitting him. Lois pleads with the boys to help Clark. It's about to kill him! They blast it with heat vision. Then draw it away.
John and Lana in the workshop. He says he's fine. Everything is at the DOD. Except a prototype. One.
Lana trying to wake Clark. Where did it go? The boys drew it away. They argue. She says the boys live in the real world with real threats. He's resisting. She says They have each other, and you, and that has to be enough now. You can't do this on your own anymore. John says he doesn't have to. Lana says we have an idea.
Boys flying through a forest. Clark gives them directions.
Iconic shot of Superman waiting. The cape blowing in the breeze. Doomsday flies at him. Clark slips the punch. John's hammer hits Doomsday. Clark X-rays it. Lois and Lana walk out. And John. Boys land. Is it dead? For now. Clark's taking it to the sun first. The sun weakens it. This is going to work. He and Lois exchange a look and he flies off.
Taking Doomsday to the sun.
Lois says we need to worry. Luthor will come after all of us. Lana says he doesn't leave loose ends. Lois tells the boys to find Amanda and bring her here. Now we show the world who Luthor really is.
Lex calls Amanda. He says she betrayed him. She's resigning from Luthorcorp first thing tomorrow. He says that won't be necessary. Goodbye, Amanda. The boys get her just before her SUV explodes.
Lois tells Amanda to tell the truth about Lex. All of it. Lana says the livestream is ready. Amanda tells them the suit is upgraded and how. John wants to know where Milton is.
Doomsday wakes right before the sun. Superman is about to punsh him. Doomsday raises his hand. He remembers. Clark gently pushes him into the sun. Bye, Bizarro.
Lois, we're streaming. Lois starts talking. There's a noise. Signal is dead.
Lex fires at Jordan, then grabs him by the throat.
Superman getting healed by the sun. He listens. Flies home.
Lex tells Jordan he is weak and worthless. Lois says it's me you want, not him. You are such a coward. Clark didn't have powers when he beat your ass all over this street. She keeps poking at him. You've always been terrified of me! He says time to die, Lois! Lois puts the prototype on Lex's suit. Lex says you can't stop me! Lois says no, but he can. Superman picks up Lex.
Fly into the sky. Lex shoots Clark with Kryptonite.
Jordan finds Jon not breathing. Does CPR. Jon, wake up! Wake up! Heat blast works. Did you just blow me up? Jordan hugs him. Please don't leave me! Jon promises.
Lex and Clark still fighting.
Milton watching. His lair is raided. John says you stole my suit. Slams his head on the desk. You are going to do exactly what I tell you.
Power is back. Get the camera. Boys return to Lois.
Why won't you die! Clark tugging on the Kryptonite. Yanks it out of his chest. Lex yells that he's going to kill them all. Clark says I told you before, Luthor, you will never hurt another person. You came after my wife. My family. My town. But all that ends RIGHT NOW! Superman punch into Lex. The armor breaks apart. Lex is falling to the ground. Clark stops him from going splat. Lana's filming. Clark hugs Lois and the boys hug him. It's over.
**Truth, justice, and the American way.
**A second half of the episode still left after the day is saved. What's still in store?
One year later!
Wedding music. Chrissy and Kyle. He's holding the baby. Clark walks LANA out. John is waiting for her! Lois is officiating. Lana thanks Clark for being her best friend. Lois tells Lana she looks beautiful. One thing I've learned as I've gotten older is that true friendship is hard to come by. I found it twice. you were there for me in my battle with cancer. When Clark was taken from us. And always here for this community. You, Mayor Lang, ar the best of Smallville. You, John Henry, I can't imagine my life without you. You, truly, are a Man of Steel. It comes as no shock that the two of you would fall in love. Ready for vows? Montage of the wedding and reception. To love and cherish always. I do. Lois pronounces them husband and wife. You may kiss the bride. Guests cheer. Kent Farm is the site of another celebration. People dance. And laugh. Matteo's there for Natalie. Chrissy is pregnant again! Lana says it looks like you're having another boy. Kyle tells Lana she is the best of Smallville. He's happy for her. All he wanted was for her to be happy. Lana asks him to dance. Yeah, I'd like that.
Night falls. Sarah and Jordan. She says the barn is cursed. She's back from Greece. She's not staying for long. Smallville is not where I want to spend the rest of my life. What about you? Are you where you want to be? Jordan says yeah. I am.
John and Nat. Everything okay, Bug? She thinks Mom would be happy to know we're okay. Me, too. She says I know this isn't where we came from....but it feels like home. Yeah.
Clark looking at the It Went By So Fast embroidery in the kitchen. Lois asks if he's okay. Yeah. Wedding got me thinking. About what? Our next chapter. He wonders what Superman and Lois Lane will be remembered for. She says truth, and justice. He says and a better tomorrow. She gets a text. What? Luthor was denied his appeal. We did it! They hug. She's crying.
Stryker's Prison. Luthor wanted the same arrangements as his last stay. Warden says unfortunately, that won't be possible. Lex enters a cell. This isn't my old cell. Warden says things have changed around here. Bruno walks in. A lot's changed around here. You're going to make a hell of a chair.
**Enjoy being Bruno's bitch!
**13 minutes left.
The first time I died, there was nothing but darkness. Then suddenly, I came back. Because of Sam's sacrifice, I lived 32 more years. But the world I came back to was struggling. People lost faith in each other. In humanity. The world felt broken. After Luthor was defeated, I started thinking about my legacy. I couldn't do it alone. I needed help. Boys in suits! My friends. Even former enemies.
Meeting wit Bruno. They shake hands.
Lois and Clark set up a foundation. We weren't able to solve all the world's problems. But we gave people a sense of hope, something missing for far too long.
At home, things were good. Lois and I got older. the boys grew up and became men. David Giuntoli! Lois and I were so proud of them. They got married. Had kids. Lots of kids. Older Lois has bangs. It was such a joy to be around. We felt incredibly lucky. Our hearts were full. There were so many special moments. Every day a gift. Lois was always by my side.
On the porch with wine.
That was a magical time. Every day a little better than the last, something we never took for granted. Then, Lois cancer came back. Only this time, it was too much. It was hard seeing her so weak, knowing she was dying.
Clark holds her in bed. I'm right here. She says I love you, Clark. I love you, too. Boys there. Everything good in my life, it came from you. But in that moment, right as she passed, something happened that I'll never forget.
Daddy?
They weep over her.
It was never the same after. Friends would stop by most days. Jordan and Jon came by almost every day. But the world felt less. She was missing. But even with friends and family, being in the house alone was touch. So, I got a dog. How had I never had a dog before? Krypto and I took a lot of walks together. Took a lot of naps. Watched a lot of sunsets. The years we had meant a lot. And then, one day, my heart gave out. Almost exactly where my dad died. Thanks to Kyle, i didn't die there - but my time was running out.
The second time I died was so much different than the first. Boys there. Clark says it was amazing. His spirit sits up. The feeling that washed over me. I can't begin to describe it. Suddenly, it came to me. Hugs the young boys. What life is all about. Joy. Hope. Grandkids. Lex at the table. Forgiveness. Clark gets up. Hugs the dog. Wonder. Scratches his ears. Stands. Hugs Chrissy and Kyle. Fist bump. Friendship. Sees Lana and John. Family. The boys again. At the door. Jordan opens it. Lois is standing there in the red dress. Love. God, she's beautiful. I came to this world alone. Clark walks to her. Takes her hands. They kiss after she smiles at him. But when I left it, I had so much. All because of love. It makes life worth living. Do everything you can to find love. To give it. Hold on to it. Because life, it goes by so fast.
