CUPID RETURNS TO WREAK HAVOC ON STAR CITY – A heartbroken Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick) returns to Star City with one goal – to destroy anyone in love. The team learns she’s killing couples on their wedding day so Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) decide to pose as bait. Ep 16:
Night in the city. Cupid singing. Man and woman scratched up, tied up, bloody. They plead to be let go. They won't tell anyone. Cupid asks how much do you love each other? More than anything. Cupid calls it pathetic. Shoots her arrow and kills them.
Courtroom. Darhk's trial. His lawyer calls him Kenneth from Markovia. Laurel argues. Lawyer says there's no evidence. Laurel says we have evidence and will show it at trial. Judge tells Laurel to get ready to present your evidence. Darhk will be held by the Dept. of Corrections.
Felicity made a system for moving most efficiently. Oliver hired a mover. He's amazed at her physical progress. This is AWKWARD. She asks him to cancel the venue, please. He agrees. She will uninvite the guests. He says the movers will come by when you want. See you when I see you. She says tonight. I was a part of the team before and assumed.... He says of course, you're a part of the team. Forever and always. He leaves the loft.
Island. Reiter tells them to keep moving. Oliver and Taiana in front. Reiter says stop, this is it. This is the beginning. Tells about bandits coming to his village and destroying his home. I swore I'd never feel helpless again. Oliver asks how that makes him any different than the people that destroyed your village. Reiter says very different. Let me show you. He shoots a man.
Team Arrow. Laurel says there's no one to testify against Damien. Team says us. Laurel says that's great, actually, the fiancee of the beloved mayoral candidate....what? Felicity tells them we're not engaged anymore. Or living together. Or together-together. I don't want to talk about it.
Diggle finds Oliver. How you holding up? Is this about your son? Oliver says yeah, because I lied to her about it. Diggle says give her time, she'll come around. Oliver thinks her staying on the team is a good sign, I think. Thea says Lance called about an old friend in town.
Green Arrow meets him at the scene. Dead couple staged in a heart shape. Love is dead.
Team Arrow. Lyla confirms that Cupid was let out of ARGUS. Thea recognizes the victims. Wedding of the decade in the gossip columns.
Diggle testifies about the campaign holiday party. Laurel asking questions. Darhk's lawyer takes over questions. Asks Diggle about being Oliver's employee. Then brings up Thea, and the buying of cocaine. Laurel argues. Lawyer says it speaks to credibility. Diggle says I swore an oath! Damian is pleased.
Laurel says it could've gone worse. Where does this leave us? Laurel needs a witness that can't be torn apart. Quentin volunteers. Felicity calls about Cupid's location. She's kidnapped another couple. Heading toward Pennytown.
Limo. Team Arrow chasing. Cupid tells her hostages to hold on tight. Van and bike chasing the limo. Speedy jumps on top of it. And gets driven into a wall. She says she's okay. Arrow tells Spartan to stay with her. He'll get Cupid. Limo stopped. Cupid attacks him. They fight. He wraps her up. She cuts herself loose. And gets away.
*Felicity making snide comments at him is not 'being a team player'. Pick a fight when it's not on the comms. She's so immature!
Arrow cave. Thea teases Oliver. LOL. Felicity says Cupid makes sense when you look at her perspective. Oliver says she's killing celebrity couples. Diggle and Thea ask Oliver about Felicity. If you want her back, tell her.
Island. Reiter says let him die. Spirit goes from the man to an idol. It glows. Reiter tells his men to shoot topside. Oliver and Taiana attack and grab the idol.
Quentin and Laurel. She's not having good luck. She asked her boss for immunity for her dad. Her boss says he'd prefer to be elected. Quentin's ready to pay the consequences for his actions. She says you'll testify that you acted under duress because Damian threatened my life.
Felicity did labs on the bracer. Cupid seems to be holed up where they store wedding dresses.
Team Arrow inside. Felicity says the only movement is you guys. Green Arrow says stay alert. Spartan finds something. Cupid's shrine. Who's getting married next?
Thea says we have to stake out the next wedding. Diggle and Oliver says we're not taking the risk with an innocent couple. Oliver says we need to get married.
Felicity says it's a bad idea. Diggle and Thea disagree. Thea says she'll leak the news and it'll be the top news. Catnip for Cupid. Diggle asks if they can do it tomorrow? Oliver says yes. Venue still has the reservation. He couldn't cancel. It means it's over. She says it is over.
Island. Taiana tries to smash the idol. Reiter says the only way out is the way you came. Don't bother fighting your way out. I'm the only one who has men and guns.
Quentin testifies. Laurel asks what else did you do? Quentin lists all the things he did. She says you did all for the defendant. Yes, and for HIVE. She asks why? He says I didn't know his intentions. I confronted him. He told me to do everything he asked, or he'd have you killed. Laurel rests. Darhk's lawyer takes over questioning. Quentin says why would I set a match to my career, my life, if everything I'm saying wasn't true?
Staged wedding. Felicity arrives in a gown. Oliver's face. She asks if he's okay. Yes. Yeah. Perfect. Felicity wants this over with. Officiant says you've written your vows... Felicity says you have many astonishing qualities and I can't wait to move on to the next chapter. Oliver says his vow. You changed everything. I was in darkness. With your kindness, generosity, intelligence, wit, and trust, you brought me into the light. You let me know I deserved it. You were that light. I don't know if I still deserve that trust, deserve you, but whatever has happened - will happen - the way you make me feel is the best part of my life. He puts the ring on her finger. I will never lie to you again. You are my always. I just want the chance to be yours. Felicity is almost moved. Cupid interrupts. Love means you are soft. And soft means death. She shoots Oliver in the chest. Sorry, I didn't check your registry. Was an explosion that will bring down this whole building on your list?

Felicity stands. Cupid calls it a fairy tale. Love is a bullet to the brain. Oliver says not it's not. Kevlar under the tux. My bodyguard insisted. Cupid asks what's his plan for C4? She has to. I do. People need to know what a joke love is. I've loved 2 men and they're both dead now. It always ends in death. Love is death. Felicity says it's not. You saw those people outside. Love is real. Love is life itself. If I die tonight, it'll be okay, because I was one of those people that experienced it. I became the very best version of myself. Our love gives my life meaning, purpose, and brings us more joy than you can ever take away from us. it's worth living for. All of it. Cupid says you really make a girl believe in love. Spartan and Speedy attack Cupid. Oliver takes her out. You alright? Felicity says yeah.
Cupid arrested. You give the rest of us hope. Oliver asks Felicity if she's okay? Yeah. He wants to talk about what she said. She says not tonight. Tomorrow? Thea says Laurel texted. Judge is making her decision. Felicity leaves to change. Diggle says she needs some time. He heard what was said.
Island. Reiter's men come for the idol and Oliver attacks them. Taiana helps. Now we have guns, too.
Judge says the evidence against the defendant is thin. But....Quentin Lance's testimony is compelling. On the strength of it, I'm binding the defendant over for trial. He'll be held without bail or possibility of release. Damian is escorted to jail.
Laurel asks her dad if we're okay? He's fine. Frank says you're being suspended. Quentin hands over his badge and weapon. Frank says I'm sure your union rep will make it clear you were acting under duress. She says she'll represent him in front of IAB.
Felicity finds Oliver in the Cave. He couldn't sleep. Their wedding is on the news. He turns it off. He wants her to know that what he said, he meant every word of it. She says I love you, with everything in me, but what I said doesn't apply to us. Oliver says you can marry me because we both want it. I'm swearing to you there will be no more lies. She says no matter how much you love me, you're the man on the island alone, who came back to the city alone. I know that and you know that. That's this life. I'm sorry. I convinced you we could have it all. I was wrong. It's too hard to be here every night and not be with you. You don't need me. You'll be fine. You don't give up, that's what makes you a hero, but there's no fixing this. We have to let each other go. She gives him the ring. Keep it for good this time, please. He doesn't want to let her go. She says I don't want to let you go, but I'm already gone.
Damian brought into a cell. Uncuffed. Locked in. He produces a ring from his mouth and puts it on. Grins. Chuckles.
Next ep - Bees. Oliver stung.
