Cat closes her bank account. Banker is worried about her. She tries her best to reassure the man and leave on good terms.
Vincent trying to sell his Jeep. Threatens the dealer into giving him $20K for it.
JT cursing at the slow computer. Tess can't get the prince's parade route. Laptop freezes. Tess hung up on. We're screwed. JT thinks Cat and Vincent should get out of town now, but they're obsessed with taking down Braxton. JT hurts his hand ranting. Tess puts ice on it. All we can do is try and help them. We have to help them stop the last person that can make beasts so we can all move on.
Heather trying to leave the hospital. Nurses put her back in bed and restrain her. 3rd time today. Kyle shows up. When did this happen? How did you get shot? Are you okay? She rambles and tells him to get her out of here. Please? LOL.
Vincent and Cat at a nice restaurant. Waiting for a car. After this, we say our last goodbyes. She hopes she doesn't cry again. Car pulls up. They kidnap the prince's personal assistant. Cat has a gun on him. Vincent speeds the car away.
They take him to the Braxton apartment. The PA plays dumb. Vincent keeps pressing. A bomb goes off tomorrow. Cat says the prince is next. We will help him if he helps us. PA says Braxton could make bodyguards for the prince's family. Good people ended up dead. The prince was afraid if he spoke out, Braxton would kill him. Cat says he already will.
Braxton building his bomb.
Cat and Vincent. Walking around in daylight. Yikes. Rooftop, tonight, one last time. Don't be late. Vincent leaves.
Tess talking to Dylan. It's not going well. Dylan wants everything she knows, or will give nothing. Tess bugs the computer when Dylan leaves the office.
Heather and Kyle buying stuff for Cat. He says he trusts and believes her. They kiss. He says she's high maintenance. She says she's worth it. She gets in a taxi.
Brings the stuff to the apartment. And a guy is there. Cat comes out. You're supposed to be at the hospital. Mom's things, the lease, Last Will and Testament? Heather gets pissed and storms out. Cat pays the lawyer.
**We know it's upsetting, kiddo, but as a big sister, Cat's will is just a smart thing to arrange under the circumstances. You know, their dad was pretty well off by the house we saw in season 1, so they should have inherited well when he died. I'm sure he had arrangements. Don't think the writers ever thought about that, though.
Heather in Central Park. Cat finds her on a bench. Apologizes. I didn't want you to find out like that. I wanted to make sure everything's taken care of just in case. I'm not planning on dying, but it could happen. looking over our shoulders all the time has to stop. Heather doesn't want to talk about it. Cat says we have to. Not just Vincent and I who have to move on. You do, too. I prepaid the lease and put the apartment in your name and signed over my car. Left you Mom's things. It'll be okay. We believe that. It's our only chance to be together, and it's a chance for you to take care of yourself again.
JT giving Tess directions on the phone. Vincent arrives. JT apologizes for not finding Braxton. Vincent brought him a new laptop. JT asks why are you giving me this? To help you find Braxton. JT doesn't want it. I know what you're doing. Vincent says you know I have to leave. JT says I don't have to like it! We've been together since we were kids. It's hard. That's all. I've known you all my life. Vincent doesn't want to lose him, either. Hugs him. JT says this sucks. Yeah.
Braxton at the road closure. Uh-oh. Puts his bomb in a manhole cover. IED.
Tess got the prince's route. Telling Cat. Cat says Vincent and I have to get to him first. There's nothing else you can do. We will stop him, I promise you. Tess is not saying goodbye. I plan on seeing you again, okay? Cat leaves. Tess breaks down.
**30 minutes left.
The rooftop. Cat waiting. Vincent arrives. Everything's going to be okay. She knows. Going to miss this place, that's all. He says we'll find a new rooftop. How did today go? They exchange how today went. It's a lot to give up, isn't it? Yeah. More than we ever wanted to. He believes it'll work out. Cat tells him it's the Queensborough Bridge. He says Braxton's leaving by private plane close to the bridge. This really is it, isn't it? We're never coming back here. He agrees. We're never coming back. Pulls her in close.
**Dammit. Okay, so far, I'm not crying! But this really sucks. How are we going to say goodbye, Beasties?
Morning. Police prepare their road closures.
Cat and Vincent. He's never done this before. She's nervous, and I have to pee. LOL. JT says 2 minutes away.
Braxton in an SUV watching the route.
Prince on the phone.
JT says show time. Cat still has to pee, lol. Vincent watches JT block the road. It stalled. Vincent takes Cat's hand. Ready? Take a big deep breath. 3, 2, 1. They're in the car. Hang up the phone. Prince says you're one of them. Cat says we're here to save you from Braxton. Vincent says you help us bury him and we'll save your life. Decide now. Prince didn't know what Braxton was really up to. Cat pleads with him.
The bomb is attached to the bottom of the car. Counting down.
They heard it.
Prince asks what do we do? Vincent says tell the driver to stop the car. They get him out. Vincent and Cat get in the front and speed off with the car. Onto the bridge. Cat asks if he's sure this is going to work? He tells her to hold his hand. Spins the car off the bridge. Trust me. Falling. It blows up in the air. Hits the water. JT watched it.
**I didn't see them get out, but obviously that was the plan using Vincent's speed. 20 minutes left. I was sure after the preview from last Thursday that they would fake their deaths in some way to be able to start over. It's the only way DHS stops looking. But they still have to stop Braxton from getting away.
Night time. Police race to the bridge. JT walking away. Tess runs to him and hugs. He sobs that it didn't work. They didn't pop up out of the river. She asks about Braxton.
The airport hanger. Braxton's jet. Police car shows up. Tess wanting to arrest him. JT has a shotgun. Braxton revs the car. They shoot at him. It veers off, horn blaring. Tess says stay behind me. Braxton is dead. JT says at least we finished it for them.
Time passes. A rainy day funeral. JT tries to speak. I didn't just lose a friend. I lost a brother in Vincent. Cat, too. Great friend, loyal partner, loving sister. I'm so sorry. Heather weeps. JT says it isn't fair. It's not. They deserved better. They deserve.....their happily ever after, and I don't know why they didn't get it. They sacrificed so much, did so much good despite.... Only a few of us will ever really know how much they went through. They were heroes, that's all there is to. How they lived, and how they died. At least they were together, which is all they ever wanted, anyway.
He hugs Tess. And Heather. Now I'm crying. Tess and JT holding hands. She says you have to give yourself time. He knows. But he doesn't know where to start after all these years. A man approaches them. Dr. Keller said this was the best place to find you. The job offer from Tanarushi. Vincent talked to him a couple days ago. Tess asks how did Dr. Keller know to send the man to his funeral? Man doesn't know. The message said to come here to find JT. Heheheheh.
Kyle and Heather return to the apartment. She breaks down again. It hurts so much, I can't breathe. She sees that the stuff she bought is gone. Start looking! She runs around the apartment. It's not here! None of it is here! They took it with them. Kyle, they're alive! She tackles him, lol.
Paris. 6 months later. Cat passed the test to be a lawyer. She has bangs now. Vincent picks her up. Adam surprising her with a carriage ride. They kiss. And leave. Trotting around the city. It's their 1st wedding anniversary. They got out of the limo before it blew. She tells him she passed the Bar. He congratulates her. She misses everyone. He does, too. They go into a restaurant. With their friends!!! Heather cut her hair again. Lots of hugs. Drinking red wine. Tess tells them JT's eulogy was beautiful. Heather and Kyle are living together. Tess and JT are living together now. To living in sin. To love! A woman is getting mugged outside. And Vincent and Cat can't let it go. They run after the perp. JT says here we go again. LOL.
