MERLYN IS CAPTURED BY RA’S AL GHUL; THE ATOM SUIT REVEALED — Malcolm (John Barrowman) is captured by Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) and taken to Nanda Parbat. Because of his love for Thea (Willa Holland), Oliver (Stephen Amell) considers saving Merlyn. Ray (Brandon Routh) is obsessed with finishing his Atom suit so he can save the city but Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) fears he is heading down the same path as Oliver (Stephen Amell) and tries to pull him out of the lab. Recap: Episode 8:

Radio show again. Captain America's plane was going down over the Sea of Japan. His love Betty Carter hears only static.

Agents talk to police at the movie theater. Peggy and Thompson look at the bodies. Sousa looks around the theater. Finds the baby carriage. And the canister on the floor. It sprays some mist at him and he starts choking on it, then attacks Thompson. Peggy pulls him off. Police knock him out.

Dottie and Ivchenko in the car. He says this is an amazing city. A beacon for all the world to envy. She says won't it be fun to tear it all down. Policeman pulls them over. He tells her she missed a traffic light. Tells her to be careful and get home safe. He goes back to the car and hears a radio call for.....the car they're in.

Sousa's tied to a bed. He wakes up coughing. Asks Peggy what's going on? She asks if he remembers anything. Some kind of gas. She says you attacked Agent Thompson. He says I wanted to kill everybody. Apologizing for hitting her. He feels back to normal.

Sousa and Peggy join the other agents. She says Ivchenko has a plan. Targeting something specific. Stark and Jarvis walk in!

Howard offers to help Sousa with his leg. Thompson yells at Stark. Howard says the gas is called Midnight Oil. The Army wanted something that would keep soldiers awake for days at a time. it failed. The Army took it and dropped it on Finhau. Ivchenko is Fenhoff. Howard wants to be bait. Thompson says something public Real showy.

Dottie goes to an airfield. Ivchenko hears a radio report about Stark holding a press conference. He tells Dottie our plans have changed. Going back to the city.

Howard's primping. Peggy brings him body armor. He says it's junk. He asks for his stuff. She takes him to the lab. He says all this stuff is stored wrong. She says the press conference is ridiculous. He says I care what you think of me. She says I don't want you to die. He says I need to fix this or I won't be able to live with myself. She calls him mad. He says As a hatter. He swipes something when her back is turned - Steve's blood?

The conference. Thompson says Stark is innocent and all charges have been dropped. Howard wants him to say he's a hero. LOL. Peggy looking around. Howard speaks. Shot fires! Jarvis and Stark run to a car. Howard gets kidnapped by a hypnotized officer.

Peggy finds the rifle rigged to fire itself. She says this gun was never supposed to kill Howard. It was a diversion. Radio says Stark has been grabbed.

Howard tries appealing to the officer. Bribing him.

Peggy and Thompson discuss. Peggy notices all the military boys walking by in uniform. She asks what day is it. May 8th. V-E Day. They're going to hit Times Square!

Car found. No Stark and the officer is slumped on the wheel.

Dottie has Howard. He tries charming her. She says you don't remember me, do you? You and I spent a nice weekend together. He asks is it Alice? She punches him.

Sousa updates Jarvis and Peggy. Thompson says there are 100,000 people in Times Square and the muckity-mucks won't call it off. Jarvis says I know where they're going. A vault of planes.

Dottie and Howard in a hanger. In eveningwear. Dottie slaps him awake. He still doesn't remember the name she used. Fenhoff and Stark meet. Do you know what your creation does? Howard says I saw it afterward. Fenhoff says I saw it happen. His brother died in it. He had no eyes and pieces of his flesh had been bitten off. Howard says he's so sorry. You have no idea how sorry. You can kill me, but leave innocent people out of it. Fenhoff says he has no intention of killing him. I'm going to make you suffer. Howard pleads with him. you feel remorse? Of course I do. I'm not a bad person. Fenhoff says yes, yes you are. It's the only way to achieve such remarkable success. your guilt eats you. Destroys you from the inside out. He's hypnotizing Howard. Focus. go back in your mind to a time and place that holds your greatest shame. What would you change?

Howard looking for Captain America. Peggy holds the shield and says bring him home.

Howard in a plane. Peggy and Jarvis are too late to stop him before take-off.

Jarvis can fly. He goes up to follow Howard and shoot if necessary. He's never had to shoot at someone before. Thompson tells him hopefully Peggy will get through and you won't have to.

Peggy and Dottie fight. Dottie envied her. Tells Fenhoff to leave. Dottie hits Peggy with a bat. I thought you'd be better. Peggy kicks her out the window. Dottie lands on a plane wing.

Peggy tells Sousa and Thompson that Fenhoff is out of the radio room. She talks to Howard on the radio. Tries getting through to him.

Sousa vs. Fenhoff. Fenhoff knocked Thompson out. He tries hypnotizing Sousa.

Peggy pleads with Howard to come back.

Sousa, shoot already!! Thompson comes to. Fenhoff tells Sousa to shoot Thompson. Jack says don't listen to him. Snap out of it! Sousa knocks the doc out. He had ear plugs in! Awesome.

Howard won't turn the plane around. Jarvis says I have the plane in my sights. We are 1 mile from land. Should I take the shot? Miss Carter? Miss Carter!

Jarvis pleads with Peggy to answer. She tells him don't take the shot until I tell you! Then she tells Howard Steve died over a year ago. He says he can see him. He was the one thing I did that brought good into this world. She says Howard, I know you loved him. I loved him, too. I can't lose you. Steve is gone. We have to move on, all of us. We have to let him go. Peg? He was good before I got a hold of him, huh? Yes, he was, where are you? Howard sees he's flying to Manhattan. She tells Jarvis. Jarvis says have Mr. Stark follow me back. I'll bring him home.

Peggy finds that Dottie is gone. But Fenhoff is in custody. Howard and Jarvis on the ground. Howard orders him to never shoot at me. Then hugs him. Awww. Tells Peggy I owe you another one. She says Dottie escaped. Howard says Ida, i knew I'd remember her name. Steel trap. ha!

Peggy walks into SSR and gets a standing ovation. Thompson says good morning. She says she came to get her paycheck. Men come in asking for Thompson. Cooper, a senator. Thanks him. We need more men like Jack Thompson. you're all lucky you work for him. You could get a congressional honor out of this situation. The president wants to thank you himself. Sousa says how can you stand that? He wants to tell the senator himself. Peggy says I know my value. I don't need anyone's approval. Sousa asks her for a drink after work. She says another time. I've got to meet a friend. Sure, another time. She smiles.

Angie and Peggy at one of Stark's houses. 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms. Jarvis says you and Peggy can stay as long as you want. There's a telephone in every room. Angie is so thrilled here. Jarvis says it's nice someone appreciates the finer things. Peggy says she's sure he looks forward to his regular duties. He says if she needs him, his services are at him disposal. Howard has decided to destroy everything. Jarvis gives her Steve's blood. Stark doesn't know. Jarvis says he doesn't own my integrity. Only one person in the world knows what to do with this. you, Miss Carter.

She looks out on the view from a bridge. Opens the vial and pours it in the water. Awww. She has tears. Bye, my darling. "Just the way you look tonight...."

Fenhoff is locked in a cell. He can't talk anymore. A man says the food here is quite good. it's the Hydra doctor! Brings him paper and pencil. Says you're fortunate. This is an American prison and America is the land of opportunity. Oh no!

#Castle episode 16 recap

"The Wrong Stuff"

When an astronaut training for a trip to Mars is mysteriously killed inside a Mars simulation, Castle and Beckett don spacesuits to investigate. But when they discover no one inside the sealed simulation could have committed the murder and no one from the outside could get in, the case takes a shocking turn.

Ep 16 recap:

Murder in a Mars simulation.

The loft is getting too crowded. Alexis playing laser tag with a boy and Martha had a lover in Castle's pajamas.

Beckett and Castle arrive to the murder scene. They and Espo go in the simulator in space suits. Listen to the audio of the murder. The 4 astronauts says we have trackers under our skin. The AI keeps track of them. She's more Siri than Hal. She thinks we're on Mars. Beckett asks them to come to the precinct. And they can't leave. We'll lose half a year and we don't have that time. Jansen says my team will be first to Mars. He'll give them all the access they need as long as the sim keeps running. Ryan says Mira says all the people are accounted for. Message from Espo. He shows them a video diary. The victim says I'm starting to see things. Swears he saw someone. I don't think we're alone.

The show logo has an astronaut suit on Mars. LOL. Awesome.

Espo tells them the other astronauts don't know what the victim was talking about. And the computers say no one else was there. Security system has been hacked. Changes made 2 days ago late at night. Breached from the outside through the firewall. Trace it to Clint Granger who was kicked out of the program. He tried to run Tom over in the parking lot 7 months ago.

Clint says Tom drugged him and slowed his reaction time on the test. He got what I deserved, but I didn't kill him. Someone's setting me up.

Kate says the alibi checks out. Ryan has no desire to go to Mars. Video of Clint's apartment lobby. George Reyes. Senior facilities engineer. He's been acting secretive. His wife is one of the astronauts.

She broke up with him, wanted out of their marriage. She fell for the other female astronaut. She says maybe he thought it was Tom. Tom hit on me through training. Reyes is picked up at the airport. Kate and Castle talk to him. He says he had nothing to do with Tom's death. He wanted to sabotage the mission so Angela could come home. But he chickened out. Then why were you leaving town? She dumped me. I wanted a fresh start. I've been drowning my sorrows at O'Malley's. He says there's a way in. If you're motivated enough.

Tunnels under the facility. Abandoned utility access. Kate asks Castle to boost her up. She applied last year to go to Mars. She sees that someone did tunnel up. Castle hears hissing. And drops her. Something's down here. Some thing? What the hell is that?

Kate says this is not an alien! He thinks it's a xenomorph. She spots something and they chase. Find a gas mask and breathing hose.

Access point is found. They update Jansen. Espo calls Kate and says the blood on the screwdriver is Tom's. Ryan's pulling security footage from the surrounding area.

Kate and Castle return home. She's looking forward to a shower. And the loft is full again. He suggests a hotel. Alexis opens the door and sees them kissing.

Morning. Castle is going to call a family meeting. Ryan says no luck on footage, but luck with the mask. DNA says it was Clint. So his alibi was a lie. Put out an APB. Espo says the mask is traced to an Army-Navy store. Charged to Newton Endeavors.

Kate and Castle go there. Security guard stops them until she shows her badge. They find a lab building a space capsule.

Sir Ian Rasher in charge of Newton Endeavors. Kate asks where Clint Granger is. You hired him to steal tech. She says Tom Richwood was killed. He says he had nothing to do with that.

They talk to Clint again. We know it was you in the access way. He says I was never inside the simulation. The tunnel was a drop point. He was working with Mikael the astronaut. He cloned his tracker. He can slip out any time.

Espo asks Mikael to talk. Mikael runs. Espo chases him. Tackles him.

Espo and Kate interrogate him at the precinct. Mikael says he was trading info to secure his family's future. Says no one's sad Tom is dead. Kate says you're the only one unaccounted for during the murder. Mikael says I can prove where I saw. Took photos that are time-stamped. Look at my photos and see.

Ryan says he's telling the truth. Castle says go back. Zoom in on the window. The rover. The bloody screwdriver in its arm! The rover did it.

They tell Jansen. Kate asks who has access to the rover's control. He says no one. It interfaces with the computer. Castle asks if someone could've asked Mira to kill Tom. Jansen says she can't do that, but he does need to talk to Mira. They go in the sim to get access. Talk privately with MIRA. Kate asks where the rover was when Tom was killed. Jansen says we know the rover wasn't docked. Kate asks MIRA if someone asked her to move the rover. MIRA draws more power. Jansen says something is off. He tells her to run a diagnostic and she refuses. She says it will compromise the mission. Kate says MIRA knows she's lying to us. She's programmed to learn. Jansen says she's programmed to protect the mission and everyone on it. Castle asks her to classify Tom. Was Tom a threat to the mission? She says yes. Jansen says why. Who told you that? She says she can't give that information. Kate asks if there's a way to get to the truth. Jansen says rebooting her will do it. MIRA opens the vent. Outside toxic atmosphere flooding in. We have to get out of here! Communications are dead. MIRA's protecting herself by taking them out.

Kate says we're on Earth, and dials her phone. Espo picks up. They're out and receiving oxygen. Someone imbedded a subroutine in MIRA. And all the mission data is gone. Jansen says the astronauts are the only ones who could've done this. Castle says there's only one explanation that makes sense.

They talk to the 3 remaining astronauts. Tell them how this all went. Commander Kim sent Mikael out. The three of you alibi each other. Colluding. You'd put your shot at Mars ahead of Tom's life. Jansen told us about MIRA's black box. She sends a back-up to a satellite. Kate says the first person to cooperate will get the least amount of jail time.

Kate and Castle get home. Case closed. Still want to go to Mars? Of course. But when they have first class service so we can go together. Martha comes down. She wanted to talk to them alone. She's decided to look for a place of her own. to live? Yes. It'll take me a while to find the right space... He says I didn't want you to move out. She says this is about me. You two deserve this place to yourselves. She leaves to spend the evening with her boyfriend. Kate didn't expect that. Castle says the unexpected is her specialty. It's so quiet. Really quiet. She suggests an Indian restaurant that's super loud.

3 weeks - Kate meets an agent that's like her, but better. March 16th.

Join or Die crates of weapons. Ichabod in battle with the British.

He gives instructions to the men. Looking for the Hessian soldiers. A man brings him a message about Abbie. She wants to speak with you and you alone. She said it's about your mission, the Hessian soldier.

Ichabod comes to Abbie. She introduces herself. We haven't met, yet, but-- The Horseman, you will meet him on battle soon. You'll kill him but he'll cut you down, too. She says she has vital info, if he gets her out. She cites Habeas Corpus. Says the Horseman is not alone. A woman will be making sure you die on that battlefield. Messenger tells him he's called back to the battlefield. Abbie says you can't defeat them without me.

Katrina looking for Ichabod. Your husband was called away by a woman. Abigail Mills. He never returned to the battle. This Hessian was like something from Hell.

Abbie helps a wounded soldier. Another is decapitated. She says he's not a man, he's a demon of death. She tells him about what Washington told him. We met in 200 years. You would've died here. And the fact you didn't die may have screwed up history. The fate of everything....the future is off the rails. Poor Ichabod is disturbed.

Colonel gives Ichabod orders. He's in trouble. Ichabod tells the man that Abbie was a British agent and he wants to take her to the fort and question her further. Colonel says deserters face a firing squad. Your connections won't save you next time. Abbie and Ichabod in a carriage. She thanks him. You went out on a limb to escort me. He asks what do you know of me? She tells him about Katrina and how they got together. He asks what she suggests they do to not screw up the future forever. She says she doesn't know, yet, but we always figure it out. We have allies, and turn to books. Written by Washington, Jefferson, Franklin. Franklin is in town. Ichabod tells the driver to go.

Horseman looks among the dead for Ichabod. Katrina confronts him. She says Ichabod has betrayed me, too. He has joined with a woman and they both must die. Let me help you. Find them and kill them. He agrees.

Ichabod and Abbie arrive. She looks around town. Recognizes where the Starbucks will be. Townspeople stare at her. He knocks on Franklin's door. He lets them in. Abbie tells him all his inventions are still around. He's pleased. He says everything we're striving for, she represents. She's the American Dream. He says he heard rumors of the Grand Grimoire. Abbie says the woman is a witch. Franklin sends Ichabod to get an almanac from the 3rd floor. Abbie tells him the witch is Katrina. He says this complicates things. We must reverse the Traveler spell. She asks how. He says for a brief period all spells can be undone. We need to talk to Grace Dixon. She says she wants to tell Crane about Katrina. He says no. He can't accept it. Trust me. Tonight we need to go to Fredericks Manor and return the world to how it should be. They hear a horse outside. Abbie says everybody down! It's The Horseman. Franklin gets beheaded!! Bomb stuns the Horseman. Run, Abbie and Ichabod!

Abbie locked in the cell again. She says we have to get to Fredericks Manor and reverse this. Ichabod blames her. She says the Hessian was after us! We are the only ones who can fix this. We're partners! He says if we're partners, tell me what you discussed with Franklin. She says the witch is your wife Katrina. He doesn't believe her. She says Katrina is pregnant with your son. Look at my cellphone. The password is your birthday! Crane! Crane!

Ichabod reports to the Colonel. You took her to Benjamin Franklin. This may be the most tragic day in the course of the war. Ichabod says she's mad, she needs care. Colonel relieves him of duty. Washington has sent for you. Dismissed.

Ichabod comes home. Katrina startles him. She asks why he's not with his men. He says he was drawn from battle by a mad woman. She asks where is she now? He notices sage and sweet wine. He asks if she's pregnant. She says it's for a neighbor. Sorry to disappoint. So, where is this woman? I'm a nurse and-- Washington's men insist on Crane coming right now. Crane tells a soldier to ride ahead. There's someone I must visit first. He'd noticed the spellbook open.

Ichabod asks for Abbie's personal effects. And she hasn't been transferred, yet. He finds the phone. Tries to figure out how to turn it on.

Abbie looks for a way out of her cell.

Crane tries to figure out the phone. He enters the password.

She pulls a nail out of the bench.

He finds the photos saved.

She's trying to pick the lock. Someone is coming.

Crane plays a video of himself.

Sutton pays a visit to Abbie.

Ichabod watching the video.

Sutton goes in her cell. He attacks her and she chokes him out. Ichabod comes running. I'm here to save you. LOL! He says I viewed a moving picture. Everything you said is true. We're partners. She says we're friends. There are tunnels under the city. She knows them.

He says he went home to Katrina. Saw a book. Something was amiss. I had to leave before... My wife wanting me dead.... She says it took a long time to understand Katrina in the future. She's not the same woman she was here. He says the seeds must've been there. How did I not see it? They reach the Manor.

Katrina cleans up Sutton. Tell me about this spy. She ambushed me and escaped. Katrina figures out they're at Fredericks Manor. He asks how she's privy to such information. She says it's easy. I'm a witch. Then kills him.

Grace opens the door. Come in. Abbie's wowed. I met your spirit. My name is Grace Abigail Mills. We're related? Yeah. A couple centuries apart. Grace says it's you, the Witness! How are you here? So many questions. But we don't have time. Franklin said you'd know how to reverse the Traveler spell. Grace says she'll have to pull on the energies that shield the house. They help her prepare the spell. Abbie says I found your journal. The Horseman is outside. With Katrina. Ichabod says he'll hold them off. Grace tells Abbie you must stay with me. Ichabod says it'll be a pleasure to make your acquaintance again, Miss Mills. She says you call me Leftenant. She hugs him. He leaves. Grace says these blank pages the ones you will write.

Katrina gets the wards down. Sends Abraham in. Ichabod shoots him. They fight.

Grace tells Abbie to read these words to complete the spell.

Katrina attacks Abbie. Ichabod fights with her and she takes a knife to the gut. Dies in his arms. Henry's spirit appears to her. Poor Ichabod. Abbie says you had no choice. He says Yes I did. We all did.

He picks up the grimoire. Frank and Jenny come in. Henry's death released my soul. Abbie hugs him. Jenny asks about Katrina? Sorry. Abbie says Grace told me the war isn't over. The most crucial battles are still ahead of us. Whatever's next, we're there for each other. They leave the church. Ichabod looks back. Abbie asks, you ready, Captain? Ready, Leftenant.

"Forbidden"

AMY BRENNEMAN GUEST STARS -- Mary's (Adelaide Kane) mother (guest star Amy Brenneman) returns to advise Mary that her throne is in jeopardy. Mary makes a shocking proposition to Condé (Sean Teale), along with a bold move to reclaim her throne. Francis (Toby Regbo) moves closer to Lola (Anna Popplewell) after a setback with Mary, while King Antoine (guest star Ben Aldridge) makes Kenna (Caitlin Stasey) an interesting offer.

As for "Forbidden".....Lola being high was hilarious! Marie de Guise is her usual self. Mary is still suffering, and making Francis suffer in the process. Greer is becoming an accidental madam. Poor thing doesn't even have her husband for comfort. And Kenna got an offer from Antoine to be his next queen. I do hate seeing Bash ignore her so....he knows what she wants and hasn't put much effort in showing up for her, and since she doesn't have a job, that's a lot of hours of boredom.....and I think Kenna is one of those people that boredom = trouble since she was a little girl. And I don't think Antoine will keep taking no for an answer for long.

And then there's Conde.....Mary wants him to be her consort in Scotland, but allegedly, Elizabeth wants to make him a king.

In actual history, Elizabeth considered many suitors, foreign and domestic, but ultimately refused to marry. Francis died in 1560 and his little brother Charles inherited the throne. Mary returned to Scotland in 1561 to a country run by Protestant nobles supported by Elizabeth. Mary married Henry Stuart in 1565, had a son in 1566, and then married James Hepburn in 1567 a few months after Stuart was murdered. Elizabeth never trusted her. Mary's son was taken from her to be raised as a Protestant and Elizabeth had Mary imprisoned for the rest of her days. On February 8, 1587 Mary was beheaded at age 44.

Of course, fans of the show hope our Mary has a happier ending! I think it's safe to say "Reign" has veered quite a bit from history at this point.

A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel (Katie Cassidy), and Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell). An arson case forces Nick to ask an old foe for help; Viktor educates Adalind about diplomacy.

Recap:

A closed shop. Young people cleaning up. Man with a key enters a building from the back. Takes off his clothes and goes upstairs. His hand lights on fire and he kills the power on the breaker panel. And then he's covered in flame.

Nick took care of the body. Asks Juliette if she's okay. She says, not exactly. What happens when Adalind finds out you're a Grimm again? One less Hexenbiest wouldn't be a bad thing.

The teens are making out. Smell smoke. The store is on fire outside the office. He breaks the window and flames rush in. Never had a chance.

Wu updates Nick and Hank. Fire didn't follow the ventilation system. It turned and had a mind of its own. Let's talk to the owner. He said he was at Mulligan's last night when he got the call from the fire dept. The kids should've been out by 7.

Nick and Hank suspect the owner and look into the insurance. 5 million dollar policy. And a filing for bankruptcy. They talk to the lawyer, who says there's no way he'd hurt that building. We need a list of debtors. They tell him 2 employees died last night and we need financial records.

Sean and his man. Kelly sold the truck.

Nick asks Wu to do a background check on the lawyer. Arson says his partner was obsessed with a fire bug. And Nick arrested him for murder. Nick and Hank visit the prison.

Nick and Hank discuss the case. Then the Bauerschwein is brought in. We have a fire we can't figure out. Nick shows him photos. This fire moved like it had a mind of its own. Man says he tracked this guy for so many years. Saw him once. He'd know the face if he saw him again. They take him out temporarily, ankle bracelet tracker included. Captain says you have 2 days. One false move and you'll never get out again. They ask him if the suspect is Wesen. He likes to watch the fires. He wogued into being literally on fire.

Nick and Wu at the trailer. Excandesco. Rome, AD 64. Peter and Paul asked the Grimm to look for the phoenix. Nero sent him to kill Christians. The burning of Rome. The Grimm didn't get to kill him.

Lawyer and the arsonist meet. There were 2 kids in the building. Clean house. Your last client won't be able to handle this. Arsonist kills the lawyer.

Hank and the former cop going over case files. Nick asks if he's heard of an Excandesco. Phosphorus. He's a human match! We have to stop him from igniting. Guy wants ingredients. Nick calls.

Asks Rosalie if Monroe is at the shop. Nick is coming over to talk to her.

Viktor tells Adalind that we're not talking to Juliette, yet. Sean's man comes in. 3 months ago, the truck was sold. Can you find her? yes. That's diplomacy. Adalind wants to try it on Juliette.

They get to the Spice Shop. We need an ointment that can handle blow torch heat. Monroe gets there. Uh oh. Hank holds Monroe back. He's working with us on a case. He knows the arsonist we're after. Monroe says no help here, not this time. Nick yells at them to stop. We're leaving. Rosalie tells him not to.

She talks to Monroe in private. Tries persuading him. She's so sick of Wesen inter-hatred. She tells him he should leave if he can't handle this. So he does.

She goes back in. Nick apologizes. She says no, you need help and you should get it, feud or no feud.

Need a topical solution. Start with licorice root for stickiness. And beeswax. And witch hazel. And jojoba. Monroe is back. Grabs the bowls. Wu calls Nick. The lawyer was burned to death in his car. We have to check this out, and they take Orson.

Rosalie asks Monroe if he's okay. No, he feels like an idiot. You're not an idiot. What if I didn't come back? Then you might've been a little bit of an idiot.

Owner and son are supposed to go to the service. Son says the company is dead. Can't you let it go? Dad says we've had setbacks before. Son says I don't want this legacy. He runs out of the house. Gets a call. Where are you? Why are you calling? You screwed up, you said no one was inside. You hired me and we need to talk now. No we don't. He hangs up.

The murder scene. Wu tells them about Damien. Orson says that's him in the young photo. And spotted the guy up on the bridge. But maybe I didn't....I don't know. Harrison is next on the kill list.

He calls Harrison and says your Lawyer was involved in the arson. Can you meet me at your building? Of course.

Juliette gets home.

Son returns home. Calls his father. I have to tell you something. I messed up, Dad, and I'm so sorry. I never meant for anybody to get hurt. I'm coming down there and I'll tell you everything.

Harrison enters the building. Looks for the "cop". The arsonist greets him. My son is going to meet us here. That's fine. Please, follow me. His hand lights up.

Nick and Hank arrive when the son is leaving. Where's your dad? He's at the building. I'm on the way. Son says our lawyer introduced me to Barson. Rosalie calls Nick. He says we need you to bring it. Where?

Barso ties up Harrison. Your son hired me to burn down the building.

They put the solution in water guns. Hank cuffs the kid. Orson asks for Nick's badge to confront Barso.

Damien took his clothes off. He's ready to burn. Orson calls out to Barso. Nick and Hank go in the back. Orson wogues to Barso. Stay where you are. You're under arrest. Come on over and arrest me, then.

Nick and Hank find Harrison. Hank cuts him loose.

Orson says Andy isn't coming. Nick calls out we got him. Barso rushes out and they spray him when he wogues. And he's not lighting. Move back! He's burning up from the inside. And explodes! Was that supposed to happen? It's not an exact science.

They tell Wu. Maybe he had a homemade bomb strapped to him..... Sure. LOL. Monroe and Orson agree they don't forgive the sides. Shake hands.

Orson back in prison. Thanks for your help. You did good. Tell it to my next parole hearing.

Nick puts the water gun in the trailer.

Adalind knocks at Juliette's. And breaks in. Juliette tells her to get out! Adalind says you should be thanking me for giving you a normal life. I'm her mother, she belongs with me. Juliette tells her to get out. Hexen fight!! Juliette's definitely got the upper hand. Adalind runs out of the house. Gets in her car and screams.

Nick comes home nd finds the mess. Pulls his gun. Juliette? She's sitting on the sofa. What happened? Adalind paid me a visit. Did she hurt you? She tried to. He'll kill her. Juliette says I almost did. I didn't need my gun. I have to show you something. You know how much I love you. She wogues. He's freaked.

Next ep - Nick's freaking out and seeking answers. Henrietta tells him he'll have to kill Juliette to get rid of this. The she tells Adalind you're going to have another baby! Whaaaaaaaat??

GOODBYE, MYSTIC FALLS — It’s Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) last day in Mystic Falls and Elena (Nina Dobrev) puts on a brave face as they reminisce about their past. Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) find themselves growing closer as they prepare Caroline’s family cabin for her mother to live out her final days. While packing up her office, Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacInytre) turns to Damon (Ian Somerhalder) for help solving one of her remaining open cases involving Elena’s parents. Elsewhere, when a violent confrontation with Enzo (Michael Malarkey) leaves Jeremy wondering whether he should leave or not, Matt (Zach Roerig) finds his own life on the line after Enzo lures him and Sarah Salvatore (guest star Tristan Mays) into his dangerous plan. Lastly, Caroline rushes to the hospital after learning her mother has taken a turn for the worse. Chris Grismer directed the episode written by Brian Young & Caroline Dries (#614). Recap: Episode 14:

Sheriff flashback. She gives a deputy orders before going home for the night. Phone call in her office. She rushes to the hospital. Elena's parents died that night.

Liz packs up her office. Looks at the file from the Gilbert accident.

Jeremy's principal meeting. Elena and Damon trying to convince him to let Jeremy graduate. He says he's not allowing it. So, Damon compels the man.

Alaric and Matt and Jeremy having shots. Tyler is off moping for his break-up. Enzo calls Matt. Jeremy asks why. Matt tells Enzo this can wait. Sarah walks into the Grill. Make her feel welcome. She says she got called by the manager for photos for the website and you recommended me? Elena and Damon arrive and give Jeremy a diploma and cap. We helped the process along. Elena gets a drink. Jeremy asks if she's okay. Damon says she will be. And there's a present in the cap, from Jo's stash. A single joint. Tell your sister and I'll kill you, again.

Stefan and Caroline at the Forbes cabin. She's rambling on about Jeremy leaving. She packed a LOT for her mother. Stefan's phone rings and he asks her to get it from his pocket. It's her mother. Why are you calling him? You snuck out of the house this morning. Caroline says it's a surprise. And I know you asked him to look after me. Liz says that's not the only reason he's there. Caroline says I'll call you in 3 hours.

Damon shows up at Liz's office. How you feeling? Like I'm not leaving this job with unfinished business. All these open cases. He sits down and looks at the files. Me, me, also me. And me. She suspected that. She hands him the Gilbert file. She never solved it....first she was taking care of Elena and Jeremy, then Elena moved on, and then... She worried he was involved in this one. No, I promise you, he says. Miranda Gilbert left her a message 2 hours before they ran off the road. She had something "very important" to discuss with Liz. Guess you got a genuine whodunnit here.

Hmmm, didn't expect the death of Elena's parents to come back up at this point....

Jeremy leaves the Grill. Elena snuck up on him. Give it. Damon gave it to me. She takes the joint from his hand. Ric left. He was worried about being recognized when he's supposed to be dead. She asks for his lighter. Really? Yeah.

Stefan and Caroline at the house. She found her first bike. She tells him about the day her training wheels were taken off. He fixed the outdoor light. She says you don't have to be here. If you'd rather be..... He doesn't.

Liz's office. She tells him where the alcohol is. Asks him about that night. You saw Elena and Stefan pulled her out of the car. Why were you in town? Mom died around that time of year and I'd stop in and lay flowers at her grave. She wonders if he's leaving something out. He says why were the Gilbert's taking Wickery Road and why were there no skid marks and why was the trunk full of luggage?

Jeremy wants a car. Elena at all the fries. Phone rings. She clicks ignore. She says I was the worst sister. I shut you out. Everybody out. He says when you got better, that's when I felt the most alone, but you were healing. Damon asks her to go to the sheriff's office. She says Jeremy and I smoked your present. He says you need eye drops, perfume, and half a pizza. She leaves.

Enzo appears to Jeremy. Uh oh.

Sarah and Matt looking at the photos. His phone rings. Not a good time. Enzo doesn't care. There's a tunnel off the river. Bring Sarah there. Matt says, If you want to meet her, come here. Enzo says he's got Jeremy. A foot on Jeremy's face. Care to reconsider my request?

Jeremy's not to hunter-y today if he let Enzo put his boot on his head. Use your legs, kid. They're not pinned down.

Caroline unpacking in the bedroom. Stefan asks where to store the crate of booze. She says the last book my mom reaches for could be her last! Stefan asks to deal with the books. I'm happy to take the responsibility. She's opening the bottle.

Elena doesn't remember why we took that route home. What about the skid marks? She says she was texting with Bonnie when it happened. You think there's something up with my parents' crash? Elena remembers how Liz took care of them. She'll see if Jeremy knows anything. Kisses Damon and leaves. Liz gets woozy. Damon takes her hand. You okay? Yeah, I'm fine. Uh huh.....

Matt and Sarah at the tunnel. There's graffiti on the walls. She says I don't have a boyfriend, if you were wondering. Enzo calls again. Can you not see me? He runs Matt over!

Stefan and Caroline. Mom is running late. He says it doesn't matter. Doesn't matter what book she reads. Life isn't about your final moments. It's about the moments that led up to them. She knows....she wanted perfect. Wanted control? He says if anyone could control death, it's you. She says she's okay with him looking after her. I don't know if I'd get through this on my own. He says he's here because you're my friend, and I know how it is to lose a mother, and when you said you hated me, it was the worst thing I'd heard in a long time. They get closer......and gently kiss!!! Then a deeper kiss. That's perfect. Sweet and gentle. One of us should probably say something, she whispers. LOL.

Yay! They've had such great chemistry since the moment Caroline was turned. And friends make the best relationships for the chance to last the longest. They could make each other very happy, which is important when you're immortal.

Sarah called 911. Matt tells her to get out of there. Enzo comes up and offers help. Matt's suffering. Enzo tells her to remain calm. He vamps to feed his blood to Matt. Then speeds off.

Salvatore house. Elena finds Jeremy getting frozen veggies for his face. Enzo's a dick. Elena offers to deal with it. He says he doesn't need his big sister taking care of bullies for him. So what did the sheriff want? She says something might've happened to Mom and Dad. That it wasn't an accident. Do you remember anything? He says he used to smoke pot in my room and Mom caught me. She said she would have me arrested. That was the last time we spoke, fighting through a door.

Damon talked to Elena and tells Liz about Jeremy smoking pot that night. There was a storm the day before. The dad was planning a surprise trip to the cabin. The storm had downed the power lines on the other road. And the Bridge Road would've still been slick. Yep. Mystery solved. Can you tell Caroline she can surprise me tomorrow? I'm not feeling up to it tonight. Sure, I'll get the car. She leaves her badge on the desk and turns off the light. Leaves the office.

Elena took a call. Jeremy's packed to leave. Ric comes in. Time to get the hell out of here. You deserve a normal life, Jere. Let's get you to the airport. Ric will take him. You should be with Liz. She says in a couple days, expect the SUV. You're giving me your car? Just don't crash it, okay?

Damon tucks Liz into bed. Tells her the flannel PJs are hot. LOL. She had hoped there was more of a reason, but the accident was just a stupid accident. She says I did everything right, Damon. He says sometimes terrible things happen to amazing people. She's comforted by an ordinary death. Caroline is meant to be extraordinary and she needs to know I'm proud of her. She will, you'll tell her yourself. Lay down. She thanks him for today, for being here. He holds her hand. He says he didn't get much time with his mother before she died. I volunteered to write the eulogy, then didn't go to the funeral. She says write mine, but nothing dirty. I promise. She wants that drink now. He'll be right back. Rocks or neat? She doesn't reply.

Caroline and Stefan rush into the hospital. Damon explains. Doctors could make her comfortable. She's not comfortable, she's dying! Caroline goes in the room and says I didn't get to say goodbye. I didn't get to say goodbye to my mom. She weeps. Stefan stands with her.

Man, I've been there. Didn't get to say goodbye to anyone but my grandmother. It sucks.

Stefan calls Tyler and leaves a message. Damon says Liz is stable, but. How much longer? Not long. Hospital says she has a DNR. Damon goes outside. Stefan rejoins Caroline. Who feels guilty. I'm her daughter, Stefan. I was supposed to give her peace and thank her for being an amazing mom! I was supposed to be with her in her final moment. He says you still can.

Ric and Jeremy. It's not the airport. Ric gives him weapons. Bus will take you to a town north of Santa Fe. Elena will be fine as long as she thinks I'm safe and happy. Ric says you're an adult now and found your purpose, so live up to it. Don't be stupid, okay? I'll send you leads. Jeremy says don't worry. I can e-mail. They hug. Ric says I'm proud of you, Jeremy. Jeremy asks to be told if Bonnie gets back. He gets on the bus.

Stefan guides Caroline through touching Liz's mind. We'll live in her memories. Take her hand. Caroline back in the bike riding memory. She was scared to ride without the training wheels. Liz kept supporting her until she was stable, then watched her ride away. Smiling and proud. Elena and Damon and Matt arrive. The monitor shows 0. Liz passes away. Caroline grieves. Someone turns off the monitor.

Next ep - Liz's funeral. They're worried about Caroline.

Unfortunately, Dean finds this information out the hard way after he becomes Hansel's next victim and reverts to his 14 year old self. Serge Ladouceur directed this episode written by Adam Glass.

#Castle recap Episode 13

I, Witness

Castle in the woods. Something keeps rustling. He gets knocked out.

12 hours earlier. Castle finds Kate at his desk. She wants to do her paperwork at home. We can work a bit, and then take a nap. He gets a call for a case. She says that's fantastic. But if you're going to your office, then I'm going to mine.

Castle's client is an old student friend. Her husband Cole, she thinks he's cheating on her. She needs to know the truth. Can you help me? He says it's not the work he likes to take. She begs. Okay, sure.

Castle spies on Cole. Cole is at a business meeting in a restaurant. Cole has a doctor's appointment next. He calls someone about meeting.

Castle tells Kate that he caught Cole and Eva is packing to leave him. Kate asks when he can get home for dinner.

Espo asks Kate about Castle's case. Ryan thinks Espo won't get a date for a couple's trip they already booked. Ryan and Jenny want to hook Espo up. Look at her photo. Kate says she's stunning. Espo agrees to meet her.

Castle at Eva's. He's bringing the photos. Hears a woman screaming. Sees her body being dragged into another room. Climbs over the fence. The body is dragged into a car. Rick chases after the car.

He tries calling Kate. Reception is terrible. He's following the car in his car. Sees it stopped. Gets out. Looks in and sees the bloody seat. Goes into the woods and gets knocked out.

He wakes up. Grabs his flashlight and goes back to the road. Both cars gone and no cell service. He wanders on the road. Cell works and he calls Kate. Says Eva is dead. I couldn't stop it.

Castle tells cops about what he saw. The detective doubts. Kate says she's sure he saw what he says. They did find Castle's car. They go to Eva's house. The husband is home. He says Eva isn't home. Got home 20 minutes ago and found a note. Eva left me. He says he's tries calling her. Do you drive a black Model S? No, that's Eva's car. Where were you at 7:45 tonight? He says um, I was at work. They check the kitchen. There's blood residue on the island. He says Eva cut her hand. Why are you looking for blood residue? Do you think I did something to my wife? Get out of my house now.

Castle couldn't sleep. Kate tries comforting him. Detective says search teams didn't find anything in the woods. Still looking for Eva's car and phone. Cole says he was with his mistress until 8pm. Castle says we need to talk to her. She says this isn't my case. He says Eva was my friend and she's dead. Okay, I'll talk to the mistress.

Miss McKinley is the mistress. Without a cent of guilt. He showed up around 6 and left around 8.

Kate thinks she was too ready with her answers. Let's look into Mr. Whitfield.

Castle spying on Cole's house. He's spotted. Cole confronts him. He says Eva just called him 20 minutes ago and she cleaned out the accounts. 7.4 million. Hey, you'll never prove a thing.

Castle with Kate. You are ruining your credibility. Cole's story checks out. Espo says no one saw Whitfield with the mistress. Ryan says Cole was married before. A dead woman, and the only witness was Cole. Her entire estate went to Cole. So this was planned!

This isn't coincidence. Whitfield is going to major trouble to make Eva look alive. And he's got an accomplice. The mistress lives on that block! Espo has a date, so Kate and Ryan retrieve the mistress.

Kate interrogates her. Until a lawyer arrives. Cole sent her. Kate says if you're an accomplice, that means jail. That call pinged off a tower by your building at 9:35am. Mistress says she was at work, you can check that. She was covering for another instructor.

Castle and Kate and Ryan discuss. Espo returns. He says he got a stalker vibe from Stacy. She saw a photo on my profile. You signed me up for Match.com? What the hell is wrong with you? We were trying to help. Espo says he doesn't need their help.

Yoga studio verifies Taylor was at work. Someone wanted us to believe she did it. Castle says the murder is staged. I'm Jimmy Stewart in Vertigo. Eva's alive! She's the one person who would want Cole and the mistress to go down. Eva wants him to suffer. She set him up. Beckett, I'm right about this. Kate gets a call. They found Eva's body in the Hudson.

Castle doesn't think it'll be Eva's body. You'll see. But it's Eva. Prints match and dental records. She's in the dress she was wearing at Castle's office, too. Blunt force trauma to the head. Kate tells Castle she's sorry about his friend.

Espo and Ryan tells the mistress that Eva is dead. So now's the time to tell us the truth.

Lawyer with Cole. Kate interrogates him. Did you find Mrs. Whitfield? In the Hudson. Taylor gave you up. You weren't with her last night. Lawyer asks if she's pressing charges. Inevitably, yeah. Cole, let's go. Castle confronts Cole. Lawyer drags Cole away. Kate tells Rick to go home. Her phone rings.

Lanie says Eva's fingernail was split. 3 hairs in the crack. They're a match for Cole.

Police go to the house with a warrant. No answer, but the car is there. They enter the house and look for him. Kate see's him hanging in the foyer. So now the murderer is dead?

Kate asks Rick if he's okay. ME says it looked like suicide. Later in bed, Rick wakes up. Something is bothering him. Why would Cole commit suicide? The case against him is circumstantial. It's too clean. She tells him to stop chasing the mice in his head. We'll deal with anything in the morning.

She wakes up and he's not in bed. He left a note. Meet me at my office.

She brought coffee. He's got a timeline board. Cole didn't kill himself. He's too much of a narcissist to commit suicide. If he didn't murder Eva, someone else did. The man wanted me to believe it was Cole. Eva's co-conspirator killed her. The company got an offer to buy out. The guy wanting out of the company to pay his debts is Scott Galloway. Check his alibi. She will. But you might be seeing ghosts.

Kate tells Espo and Ryan that Castle has been right too many times to not consider his theory.

Castle calls. He sees how he might be tumbling down the rabbit hole. She says Scott didn't do it, but I know who did.

Scott's in the clear. But Cole was in Scarsdale at the time of the murder. Robert James, the other executive. Mrs. James was there. 2 affairs? Can we put Robert James near the Whitfield house?

Kate talks to Robert. This is you heading to Cole's house. When Eva found out about the affairs, she came to you with a plan. You wanted revenge. The man deserved what he got. So you staged the attack on Eva. Yes. It was all for show, of course. He doesn't know how Eva died. Eva said the next morning that she was having second thoughts. He gave her a key to a corporate apartment.

So who is the 3rd party? Ryan found out.

Kate and Castle visit the lawyer. Cole was sedated. Heavily. You talked to Eva and whispered in her ear. Cole's first wife was a sorority sister of yours in college. You told friends he got away with murder. You took the job to get into Cole's life, and you found the way to revenge with Eva. Eva got cold feet, but you couldn't have that. And killing Cole was a way to tie up loose ends. We have a warrant. Found Eva's blood and DNA in your trunk. It's over, Ms. Haskins.

Local police take the lawyer into custody. Ryan apologizes to Espo. Espo has a date with Trixie. Ryan says we rejected her. Espo says sucks for you, she'll be at the couple's retreat.

Kate and Castle toast. He feels guilty for getting played. Maybe being a PI is too much....ambiguity. Maybe I'm not cut out for this. She says don't make any hasty decisions. Sleep on it. Or nap on it. She highly advocates "naps". They kiss in his chair.
