"HIBERNACULUM"
04/10/2015 (08:00PM - 09:00PM) (Friday) : NICK AND HANK ARE ON THE TRAIL OF A CHILLING STRING OF MURDERS - Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to investigate a rare Wesen that leaves its victims frozen solid. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) starts to feel that she is losing her humanity as she seeks to get revenge on Adalind (Claire Coffee). Elsewhere, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) continues to suffer from mysterious bleeding and visions while Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) works toward coming to grips with the Wesenrein incident. Reggie Lee and Bree Turner also star. TV-14 V
Ep 17:
Nick eating at home alone. He looks at a picture of him and Juliette and puts it face down.
Sean comes home, sore and bruised. Juliette asks where's Adalind. He says he wants the key back. She tosses it to him. She says I'm going to kill her. Sean says good idea. names the hotel. Juliette unbuttons her blouse. "I'm finishing what we started." After a moment, they kiss.
A man's car dies on a road. He walks along, cold. Finds a house.
A woman on the phone in a house. Giving advice to her daughter. There's a knock. The man says my car broke down. I'm freezing. I need help. Can I use your phone? The daughter tells the mother to call a tow truck for the man. The man breaks into the house! Attacks the woman. Bites her neck and feeds on her. She's frozen now. The daughter pleads over the phone. The Wesen leaves.
Wu at the scene. Updates Nick and Hank. The victim's vehicle was stolen. The strange art is the body. Frozen solid. Daughter called 911 2 hours ago. Nick reveals the bite. Wu says this is not the usual home invasion suspect. Nick and Hank talk to the daughter in the kitchen. We're so sorry for your loss. She says her mom lived by herself. Dad passes away 5 years ago. She was on the phone with her. She tells them what she heard. Why would someone do this to her to steal a car? How could she die like this?
Hank and Nick discuss the perp's car motives. Ask State Police if they've located any breakdowns within 5 miles.
Wu calls Nick and Hank after dark. Victim's car was spotted. They're on their way.
Monroe working on a clock. His hand shakes. He has a flashback to the Wesenrein. He wogues when Rosalee comes home and spooks her. Sorry. She asks what's wrong? He says Time. We never know how much we're going to have. She hugs him. That's why we never take anything for granted.
Roadblock. Perp turns the car around. State Police in pursuit. Nick and Hank and Wu block him the other way. Perp is sandwiched. He stops the car and runs into the woods. Nick and Hank and Wu chase. Nick is the closest to him. He hears the footsteps and says that way. Wesen is cold again. Nick keeps looking. Don't hear him anymore. Must've stopped. The Wesen is shivering. Eyes glowing. He wogues.
Nick looking in the woods. The Wesen falls to his knees.
Monroe tells Rosalee about the clock. It's a real find. She hugs him again. Tell me what was really going on today when I came home. He says he was working on the clock and thought about the time the clock had ticked through. Time keeps clicking past. And that's why you wogued. No, I was thinking about the Wesenrein and how we almost ran out of time. Aww, he's close to tears. She tells him but we didn't. We have plenty of time left. She comforts him and they kiss.
Precinct. They have the perp. Let's hit the books to figure out what we're dealing with. Wu says something happened to our suspect. He's dead, cold as ice. Froze to death. Wu says state police found the car.
Sean asleep. Wakes. Sits up. He's in pain. And alone. Looks in the mirror. His scars bleed and he punches the mirror. Flashbacks to his death. Then sees a white light and clawed hands reach for him. He collapses in pain like a heart attack.
Nick and Wu get to the car. Still has fast food in it. 3 combo meals. 3 bags. Has to be more than Knut. Where did they go?
Kenneth and the royal's man. Discussing how to get Nick's mother to come. He wants Nick's e-mails and phone tapped. Adalind says none of my clothes fit. Kenneth says send someone with her to shop. It's not up for discussion.
Another cold Wesen. A woman, a nurse, gets him in her car to go to a hospital. He grabs her, wogues, she gets out of the car and runs. The man crawls on the pavement.
Adalind and a guard. Juliette watches from across the street. She tries to move a gargoyle to fall on Adalind. The guard gets her out of the way. The statue shatters on the sidewalk. Juliette leaves.
Hank read about a Wesen, but it has fur. Nick says the Wesen we're looking for has scales. Monroe once mentioned a cold weather Wesen. Maybe he and Rosalee know what we're dealing with.
The store. Received a new shipment of stock. Nick and Hank come in. Tell them about the Wesen that freezes its victims. They know what it is. Varmativ. They can't generate their own body heat. Only process human body heat. Hank says the guy froze to death in his cell. There are 2 more out there. Rosalee says they're heading to their Hibernaculum. They hibernate through winter. Someone comes in the shop. It's Juliette. She says the side effects....she's crying. I'm losing myself. I need help. Nick comes out. You told Hank? He's my partner. Monroe asks what's going on? Rosalee asks did you break up? In a way. Nick says tell them, or I will. Juliette wogues. Are you happy? Rosalee says there's gotta be something-- Juliette says there's nothing you can do. It was a mistake to come here. This is because of all of you! Nick says it's not their fault, don't blame them. Juliette says there's enough blame to go around. She leaves. Nick tells Monroe and Rosalee what's happened. Phone rings. Wu is put on speaker. We have another frozen still. Route 4. Monroe offers to go with. Rosalee says Nick, we're not giving up. He says Thanks. They leave. Rosalee exclaims, "She's a freakin' Hexenbiest!" LOL.
Wu updates them at the scene. Another Gunderson from North Dakota. Still a 3rd out there. Nick tells Wu to look for more Gundersons in North Dakota.
Last one gets in a cab. He's shivering. Wogues and attacks the cabbie.
7 Gundersons in the Portland area. Wu says we have another frozen body. The cabbie. Wu gets a call. Hank calls the cab company. Cam you tell me Mitchell Gareth's last pick-up? Here. Wu says 3 Gundersons in North Dakota. Sven is the only brother with a record. Snake tattoos on his forearms. Only one Gunderson is west of here. That's where we start.
Adalind rants to Kenneth. Juliette made it fall! You need to kill her before she kills me! He says no, Juliette might know how to contact Kelly. Calm down. No one's going to kill you, unless you keep shouting. She stomps into her room. LOL.
Our boys get to the house. If this is the hibernaculum, we need to be careful. Wu finds a hole in the fence. They look in the windows. House seems empty. Nick breaks in and they enter the house. It's cold. Where is everybody? They feel warmth in the living room. The floor is warm. There's a trap door. Nick opens it. Really hot down there. Nick goes first. If this is the hibernaculum, what are they doing down there? Hibernaculating? It's like a sauna down here. They look around the basement and find a pile of bodies. Several sleeping Varmativs in their underwear.
That's a deep sleep. We have to find Sven and get out of here. Monroe says don't wake them. Wu spots the tattoos. But there are 3 people on top of him. Be careful and move slow. They coordinate. And the Varmativ wake up. Now what? Get em? Up the stairs! Our boys get up to the living room. Back to the car? We don't have a choice now. 3 2 1 go!
Outside, to the barn! There's the cab. Nick and Hank hold the doors closed. But some Varmativ break in the back. Nick and Hank fight them. Monroe and Wu can't hold the doors. Then the Varmativ fall cold. They're freezing. What do we do? We have to put them back. They're innocent, we can't let them die. Okay.
Back in the basement and hibernating. Think they'll survive? Hopefully. They close up in the living room. We were never here. Probably better that way. What happened to Sven? Frozen in the barn. What do we do with him?
He's set in the taxi in the city. LOL.
Nick comes home. Remembers his aunt telling him to end it with Juliette and never see her again. He looks at the photo. Poor Nick.....
Next week - Juliette wogues at a bar. Gets arrested. Nick tells her to stop. She says she likes this power. And now Hank is a Wesen???
