“Crossfire”
With their best lead in hand, Castle and Beckett are ready to take on LokSat. But an unforeseen twist puts their case – and their lives – in jeopardy, on the season finale of “Castle,” MONDAY, MAY 16 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network.
Castle stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, Stana Katic as NYPD Captain Kate Beckett, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle, with Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers. For Season Eight, Toks Olagundoye (“The Neighbors”) joined the series as Hayley.
Guest stars in the season finale include Sunkrish Bala as Vikram Singh, Kristoffer Polaha as Caleb Brown, and Jed Rees as Mr. Flynn.

Ep 22:
Man in the car, singing to the radio. He stops it. There's a thumping noise. He pours gas all over the car. Person tied up in the trunk. He lights the car on fire. Gets into the other car waiting for him.
Kate and Castle in a park. Vikram on the comms. They're waiting for the phone to ring. Vikram will trace the call. Kate says if it goes sideways, we shut it down and meet at the precinct. Kate and Castle wait at a tree. They wonder if this is a trap. Phone rings. Tells Caleb to get a flash drive. Vikram says the call is a dead end. Kate tells Vikram to e-mail Caleb to show up at that dead drop.
Lanie and Espo at the murder scene. Ryan, too. Vacant buildings. Rained last night. Make impressions of the shoeprints and tire tracks.
Castle and Hayley. She'll be the eyes on that drop. She promises him she'll protect his family. He thanks her.
Vikram wants to resign after Loksat is taken down. He wants to go back to being boring. She understands and thanks him for doing this with her. Ryan and Espo come in. Lead on the homicide. She says good job. Espo asks if there's something they should know about? She says no.
They have cameras pointed at the drop site. Hayley in position above. Castle checks his watch. Doesn't see anything through the binoculars. Caleb told Vikram he would be here at noon sharp. Hayley says he's arrived. Car pulls up. Accountant should be nearby. They watch a man get out of a car. Kate's phone buzzes. Espo calling. Caleb's dead. He's the victim in the burned car. Phone cuts out. That's not Caleb at the drop. She says Castle, this is a trap.
Comms down. SUVs arrive. Men shoot at Castle and Kate. She throws him a gun. They fire back. Hayley snipes from above. Kate and Castle run out. Taco truck barrels in. Get in! Mason. They jump in and it drives away.
Mason stops when they're clear. Castle's hungry. Kate pulls a gun on him. Castle says he's Mason Wood. Head of the GDS. Castle says she's out of bullets. Mason says your mother sent me. Rita. Kate asks how do you know her? He was a lawyer with the State Dept. He owes Rita for saving his life. She said they needed a babysitter. Mason says he doesn't want to know details. She dumps their phones. He offers untraceable stuff. Kate takes phones and weapons. She wonders how this happened since they were careful. Her dad is out of town, but they need to get the rest safe. Meet me at the PI Office. They says I love you, hug and kiss, and part.
Espo and Ryan. Who is right hand man? Vikram says Loksat. Caleb left that message for Beckett. Person that's behind every terrible thing the past 9 months. Kate says you shouldn't have told them. Espo says you should've.
Castle is confronted by armed men. Hayley's men. Martha asks where is Katherine? Alexis asks why are we in lockdown?
Kate updates the boys and says forget everything you just heard. She says we'll have to disappear for a while. Vikram has footage of the man and Caleb. In profile. Kate says they'll never see us coming.
Castle on the phone with Kate. He's not happy that she's still at the precinct. He wants to come there. She says no, you can't risk that. She says nothing will happen while she's here. She promises to stay there. i love you. I love you, too. Ryan says we found him. The car on camera. Followed to a house. Same man gets out. Who owns it? Shell corp. Live shot shows he's still there. Kate says let's go. Ryan says you just promised you'd stay here. Espo says stay. Ryan says we got this.
Martha says if she wasn't scared out of her mind, this would be a lovely afternoon. Castle wants to go to the precinct. Tells them don't worry, I'll see you soon. hayley's coming. He says I don't know those guys out front, I know you. Stay please. He leaves.
They breach the house. Kate watches on camera. Clear rooms. It's empty. Completely. He tricked us.
Castle hails a taxi. 12th precinct, please. It's him! Playing the same song! Sunshine Day.
Kate and the boys. Cameras behind the house were disabled yesterday morning.
Castle in a standing chair thing. He wakes. Door opens. Who are you? Does it matter? Bad guy says my name is the least consequential thing for you to know right now. But you can call me Mr. Flynn. By the time we're done, you will reveal all the names that know about Loksat. Castle says I'm not telling anything. Table goes flat. Flynn puts an IV of truth serum in Castle's arm. Within the hour, you will tell me everything you want to know, and then you will die. Was knowing my name that important?
Kate's frustrated. I need a miracle guys. Ryan and Espo says one miracle coming up. Mason Wood calls her. I have a lead. A source. She wants to go see him. Mason says know, he won't talk to you, might not talk to me. She insists. He gives her an address to meet in an hour. She leaves.
Flynn says the correct dosage is key. Can I ask you a personal question? I was raised by the state. I never knew love like you do. What changed you? Castle says I fell in love with her. Never met anyone like her. She makes me laugh. She challenges me. I became a better man. Flynn says it makes you vulnerable. She's the reason you're on this table. Castle says he wouldn't take a do-over. She will find you and bury you both. Flynn says she'll be dead by the end of the night and there's nothing you can do about it.
Vikram got a cell number. That is Right Hand Man's phone.
Flynn thanks Castle for sharing his feelings. Time to get down to business. Raises Castle. Castle wants a trip to the restroom. Flynn says my boss will be asking the questions. Loksat. Mason Wood! Surprise......
You're Loksat? Mason says yes, but it's the code name for my illegal operations. The GDS is real. Castle asks if he's stepmother is dead? Mason says no yet. Who knows about me? Beckett and Vikram, what about Hayley? Ryan and Esposito? your mother? Castle has to say yes to all. Your daughter? Yes. Anyone else? No. Mason says good. Castle pleads. Mason says there's no shame is losing. Only in the hubris that made you think this could end any other way. Flynn says that was difficult to watch. this will end your pain. This will end everything.
Ryan and Espo arrive at a building. Start arresting agents. WHOA.
Flynn says this will kill you in 12 seconds. Everything ends in tragedy, even an epic love story like yours. Boys rush in. Save Castle. Gotta go. Bad guys fire at them. Castle asks Flynn where Mason is taking Beckett. Flynn says he doesn't know. Castle hooks him up to the truth serum. You're going to tell me everything I want to know.
Kate gets in Mason's car.
Firefight. Castle asks Flynn where? Flynn says here. Kill room in the basement with an incinerator. That door is the only way out and they have more bullets than you.
Mason says you and Mr. Castle have a crazy bond. She says he's the love of my life. He asks why she didn't walk away? She says I took an oath. People deserve justice. He says must be hard to carry that weight. She says I don't carry it alone.
Castle pondering what to do next. Beats on the wall, breaking tiles. Escape down there. Ryan slides him a gun and says don't worry about us, go get Beckett!
She asks who is this guy we're going to see? Mason says he owes me for retrieving things that were stolen from him. She pulls a gun on him. I know it's you. Gun on the floor, nice and slow. What's in the other pocket? He says insurance. Electromagnet in the ceiling disarms her. He says your husband is dead. His body is in the fire behind you. She says I'm not going in there without a fight. Castle arrives. It's enough to let Kate attack Mason. He's down. They hug.
Family reunited. Back in the precinct. Boys leave for a bar to celebrate. Vikram, you coming? It's 7 in the morning. It's NYC, lol. Lanie says I'm glad you're both okay. They invite her, too. The Castles exchange smiles.
Home. She wants to order in. Castle wants to make breakfast. Starts the stove. Hey, Beckett. If Mason had... Caleb shoots Castle! Kate shoots him. Caleb shoots back. She shoots again. And is bleeding and falls. Castle and Kate worm to each other. Hold hands.
Season 1 words. 7 years later. Kids running around. The happy family. Breakfast. Always. Always.
And that's it.
