"Farewell, Cruel World!" - The clock is ticking for Daisy and Simmons to get the team out of the Framework, but not everyone is ready and willing to leave, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," TUESDAY, MAY 2 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.
"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie, and John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe.

Episode 20:
10 days ago. Simmons instructing YoYo. Promise me you'll get our guys back, okay? Simmons promises. What's next? YoYo says we wait.
For days. They need to touch down and refuel. 24 hours left. They've turned off all non-essential functions. What about cloaking? It's the only thing keeping us safe up here. YoYo says do it.
That's how the Russians found them.
Framework. Watching the news. Martial Law in effect. Burrows things Madame Hydra's uniform is crazy hot. LOL. Daisy hugs Tripp. Hey....person I don't know. Simmons pulls her away. AIDA's building a human body. She wants free will. Daisy has the coordinates of the back door. We have to pass through the exit point and our minds will disconnect. Simmons doesn't know how to get to Fitz. Daisy says we can't rescue him now. If we don't get Coulson and Mack out of here, AIDA will kill all of them.
Mack and Hope want to go home. Daisy stops him. We need you. What is this mission? Hope tells him to not be embarrassing. Daisy went to jail over what you did. She's the biggest hero in SHIELD, you have to say yes. Mack tells her promise I'm back in time to put Hope to bed. Daisy promises to have him where he needs to be.
May doing first aid. Coulson chats with her. What if I told you this whole world is a simulation meant to keep us imprisoned. May says you'd need to be medicated. He'd agree, until Daisy showed up. He says you have to admit this world doesn't add up. May says if there's any truth to what you're saying, you have to show, not tell. He can work with that.
Hydra. fitz walking through the halls. to Radcliffe. Radcliffe doesn't want to talk to him. Fitz asked what he and Skye talked about? Where's she headed? Radcliffe calls him afraid. Fitz takes his jacket off. Radcliffe says soon Daisy and the rest of them will escape this wretched reality. Fitz says you'll die. Radcliffe would rather be dead then here. Fitz tells him we can transfer a consciousness into an organic body. Radcliffe says AIDA would've been quite the terrible teenage daughter. Fitz offers him immortality. Radcliffe says Daisy's looking for a way out.
Simmons comes to May. We do know each other. We're teammates, in fact. The Fitz I know is a kind and caring person. May says that's not the Fitz I know, father or son. Those two are inseparable. Simmons asks if she can access personnel files.
Simmons goes to Fitz's Sr.'s place, pulls a gun, and says you're going to help me fix this.
Daisy and Tripp go over plans. He asks about the other world Simmons talked about. She says yeah. You, Mack, May, and Coulson were all part of our team. He's surprised he didn't date any of them. LOL. Simmons left base an hour ago. Where'd she go?
Fitz Sr and Simmons. Arguing over Leopold. She says I can fix this. You need to do what I say. Fitz is in danger. Madame Hydra has put forces in motion no army can protect him from. Call him, tell him to come here alone. I could never hurt him, I only want to talk. Now make the call. He picks up the phone.
Fitx picks up. You know I've always loved you. Only wanted the best for you. Please, just do as I say and everything will work it's way out. He tells Fitz she's there and tackled her. Starts strangling her. Fitz listening. There's a gunshot. Dad! Are you okay? Dad, answer me!
Simmons shot him.
Coulson says people are staring at us. No, you. He says his style is working in the shadows. LOL. Daisy asks about Simmons. May says she went to find Alastair Fitz. Coulson says the alternate world came up in casual conversation. LOL. Daisy says we can't leave without Simmons. May says I'm sure she's fine.
Alastair's apartment. He's found dead. Radcliffe brought along. Fitz says we know where she's going. Get the men back on the Zephyr. To Radclifee, he says You say this woman loves me. Radcliffe says this was obviously an accident. A tragic one. Fitz makes him look at his father. You're going to lead me to Jemma Simmons where it's my intent to put a bullet through her skull.
Zephyr. YoYo asks any changes? She feels useless. Guys, we have company. Russians. We should've stayed cloaked. you think? They have anti-aircraft guns, but don't have power to control them.
Simmons makes it back to Daisy. Tells her I killed Fitz's father. Fitz won't come with us now! We lost him! Daisy says we haven't. but we have to get back to the real world before AIDA makes us disappear.
AIDA is told Fit's father is dead. Send word I want them to return to the Triskelion immediately.
Fitz refuses. We will return only after my father's murderer is found. Radcliffe is surprised they're at a steel mill. Fitz says Madame Hydra has made a few modifications.
Tripp gets them to their destination. Daisy tells him you're needed here. Maybe it's your turn to suit up. People could use another Patriot to look up to. He thinks he'd look pretty damn fine in that suit. She hugs him. You would. He says take care of yourself. You, too.
Just up ahead. Daisy says something doesn't feel right. Radcliffe said the back door was in a public fountain, not a creepy steel mill. The coordinates lead to a molten steel vat. Radcliffe is a Hydra prisoner, he has no reason to lie. The back door is part of the Framework. Simmons says Madame Hydra could've found out about the door and changed it. Mack still hasn't been told about the other world. Coulson asks what does this mean for us? Simmons says there's no way out. Madam Hydra has won.
AIDA. She's told the Zephyr crew went dark. tells a doctor he can proceed. The transfer. Her body is scanned.
The machine starts working.
AIDA is scanned and it starts creating the organic body.
May skeptical. Daisy still wants to trust Radcliffe. Mack says you lied to me. You're a damn liar. Simmons says she was only trying to help. Coulson says we need to think about a Plan B. He believes Daisy's right. Mack says there is no back door. Daisy will Quake it. Hydra starts shooting. May and Coulson fire back. Mack asks how did they find us? Daisy says it's a trap or the door is really here. Only one way to find out. She quakes the vat. And there's a portal. It worked! Mack says that' can't be real. Coulson says it's real. May says it could be a trap. He says the rime for doubting is over. We're going back to our world. He's shot several times! May goes to him. Mack fires, too. Coulson says this is oddly familiar. Help me to the edge. It's the only way. Skye! On it. He says come with me. A lepa of faith. Just follow my lead. He falls through the portal. The building changes. Ripples. Mack stares at his hand in fear.
Coulson wakes. Detaches. Tells May to jump. Jump! She's here! Smiles at him. I followed you. He picks her up and sets her down. May, I'm so sorry. I tried to find you. They spot AIDA. Phil picks up a scalpel. About to stab her.
The body is forming.
Mack says you're right, none of this is real. Daisy tells Simmons she's up. But Fitz finds her!
**15 minutes left. Who will make it out of the Framework? Will they shut the machine down before AIDA's body is complete? Doubtful. but Coulson still need to attempt to kill her right the hell now. No waiting!
fitz. You don't get to say my name, not after everything you've done. She says I came to rescue you! He says you murdered my father. He told me he loved me. They argue over AIDA vs Ophelia. Radcliffe and Daisy told you the truth! Please, Fitz, you have to wake up. He tells her to get on her knees. No. Shoots her in the leg. Please, you don't have to do this. I love you. He says you mean nothing to me. I want to hear you say it - I am nothing to you. Say it! Say. It!. Radcliffe saves her. Takes Fitz. this was never my intention. Please don't blame yourself. It was all my fault. He throws Fitz in the portal. Tells Simmons at least this way Fitz gets to be his old self again. you should go. She limps to it and jumps.
She's awake. Plane shakes. We're being shot out of the sky.
Daisy tells Mack now it's your turn. Mack. you said it yourself, this world is not real, and in the real world, you're in danger right now. He asks if Hope is in danger? She tells him the truth. He says she's alive here, why would it be different there? She says AIDA fixed your biggest regret. He's staying. I don't want to live in a world without Hope. She says it's not real. It's a computer program. Even Hope. He says she laughs at my jokes. We watch movies together. And when she's sad.......I hold her. She's real to me. Daisy understands, but you have people who love you very much. He says tell them I'm sorry. She doesn't want to lose him. He says good luck.
Daisy is back. Were you able to save Mack? I'm so sorry.
He's still in the lab. Coulson with Fitz. he's freaking out. I ordered the airstrike that killed Director Mace. May says something's out there.
AIDA's body is constructed. She wakes in it. Smug smile.
Coulson trying to comfort Fitz. AIDA walks in. Leopold. I'm so happy to see you. This is what happiness feels like. Fitz calls her Ophelia. Coulson had cut AIDA's robot head off. She says finally you can touch the real me. Feel my heart beating. We can make this world whatever we want. May yells at Fitz to get out of the way. Coulson tells May to take the shot, but AIDA and Fitz disappear.
Mack returns to SHIELD. Tripp asks if something went wrong? Mack says no, they all made it through. Hope is asleep. Tripp wakes her. Leaves Mack with her. I'm sorry, Spark Plug, the mission was more complicated than expected. She asks where is the team? He says they're fine. you know Wizard of Oz. They went to a place like Kansas. She asks if we're going too? He says no. Everything I need is right here.
**4 minutes left. Mack, you're breaking our hearts again. The tragic hero. Poor Yo-Yo. He never remembered her again.
