"A Life Spent" - Daisy decides she will rescue Simmons - even if it means risking everything to do it, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," FRIDAY, DEC. 8 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

Episode 3:
Surface of the dead Earth. There's an installation embedded in it.
Jemma as servant. She still can only watch, not hear. Kasius gets a visitor. Human. Here on behalf of Lady Basha. She prefers dining on her own ship. She looks forward to the ceremony. She had high expectations. Kasius wants good news - and doesn't get it. Throws things. The female Kree soothes him. They look at Jemma. He says we have a problem and for your sake I pray you can fix it.
Team working. Coulson looking at Virgil's book. YoYo gets zapped. Work faster! Mack tries to go after him and gets stuck. He's zapped. As long as you owe me, I own you. He's released to return to work.
Deke and Daisy. She's worried. Deke says she's deflecting. She says I didn't do it. My powers are not that strong. He says you will be. Quake is the one who did it. Multiverse theory - infinite parallel universes. She slaps him. Deke spots a man and talks to him. There's been a renewal. 3 people dead. Your friends are hiding. Where? He says Grill might take in strays.
Yo-Yo and Mack chat in Spanish. She says he did a stupid thing. He took a look in the office. Maybe we can get that scroll back. Not stupid - recon. May returns with Tess. Coulson says take me with you. Grill says you still owe a double haul. They need a few crushers. He says take the newbies.
Jemma and the Kree woman. Taken to a girl. Fix it! The girl seems terrified. Abby went through Terrigenesis. She has seizures. Simmons hand passed through her. Abby says if I'm not ready for the ceremony, I don't know what will happen to me.
Daisy finds YoYo. YoYo tells her about the scroll. Grill says someone's skimming from me. Always suspected Virgil. Find proof.
Tess. May, Mack, Coulson. Coulson says Virgil was looking for something. One part of Earth shows up over and over. The answer might be out there. Mack would rather not go where no one can hear you scream. Heh. Tess doesn't want to go on a side mission. Coulson says this is THE mission. Henchman arrives. I'm coming on this run.
Abby is calm. Jemma can touch her. Abby says all 18 years old go through Terrigenesis. Tye has been trying to teach Abby to control her gift. She can't, yet. She's supposed to demonstrate her abilities at the ceremony. Then she'll get to be an ambassador and travel the galaxy. She says sometimes I'm light as air, sometimes as heavy as lead. She says sometimes I can only turn it off if Tye turns on my blocker. Embedded behind her ear. If she can't perform at the ceremony, her family will be punished. Jemma promises to help her.
In the ship. May and Coulson. He likes the view. Asks about her leg. She won't lie. Hands comforting. He says maybe there's no way back. Managing expectations. Maybe our destiny's here helping these people. May wants to go home. I've earned a night in my own bed.
Grill eating. Alert keeps going off. Perimeter sensor. New girl, get over here. Your metric's on the fritz. She runs to his office when she can. Gets the scroll to Daisy. And returns to him. No more dilly-dallying.
Tess says he hasn't noticed we're off course, yet, but we should hurry. She looks at the little globe of Virgil's. He wouldn't fly without it. Coulson opens it. It's the lost knob. Virgil talked on radio to someone. Magnetized! Busted.
**Mack, you had ONE JOB.
May grabs the stick and rolls the ship. Puts him off balance so they can attack and get to the remote. Mack knocks him out. Hungry Hungry Hippos. LOL. Tess says this is beyond bad. We're dead.
Jemma tells Abby to try again. Abby gets frustrated and cracks the floor. Jemma says it's mind over matter. Think of this place. you see a table, a picture, and stars. Everything in the universe is made of the same thing. You know what's between those particles? Space. Your body is like a field of infinite stars. you can control the space between those stars. Close your eyes and imagine it. Try again. Abby passes her hand into the pitcher. Jemma tells her to remember this feeling. Kasius and Tye and the Kree woman enter. Out of time. Jemma tells Abby, You'll do great. Kasius takes Jemma's hearing again. Kasius asks the Kree if she set the healer up to fail because he finds her pretty, or succeed? What does Jemma have that makes her so capable? Compassion. Hmm. He caresses Jemma's face.
Daisy runs into Deke. you should be playing the long game! I can get you an invitation, but it takes time, takes finesse! If you pick a fight with the Blues, they'll take it out on all of us! She pushes him back with her power. So there she is. Quake. Destroyer of worlds. She says don't ever call me that again.
Working the radio. Tess thinks they're screwed. Suggests to Mack we seal the hatch and dump the load. Life for a life, that's how it works. Voice on the radio. Faint transmission. Source is right in front of us. Could be reflecting. Bouncing off 616. Origin is the surface of the Earth!
Lady Basha arrives. your excellency. She's human! The villain actress from Heroes Reborn. Jemma asks what's happening. Gets no answer. They sit overlooking the field of exhibition. Abby enters. Jemma smiles at her. Another door opens. BIG DUDE. Basha says you promised me a warrior. I've come a long way. The man has killed 13 opponents in 7 systems. He backs Abby into a corner. Tosses her around. Basha not pleased. Kasius says let's hope she finds her way. So many lives we prize depend on her success. The gladiator keeps beating on her. She's scrawling to the door. Beats on it.
Daisy upstairs. Grow lights.
Abby's seized up. He drags her to the center. Basha says disappointing. Jemma whispers think of the stars. Abby gets to her feet. Closes her eyes. Gladiator punches and she's solid. His arm bones shatter inside. Kasius says maybe our warrior has found her way. Abby tells the gladiator to stop, but he comes at her until her arm is in him. He falls dead.
Tess freaking out. It's him or us! Mack argues that in SHIELD we live by a code. Ship losing fuel fast. May says we need to turn and burn and pray we don't hit a gravity storm. Tess says there goes our chance. Hope it was worth it.
Basha pleased with Kasius's work with the Terrans. Basha brings payment. Abby leaves with her. Jemma wants to stop it. Sinara the Kree woman gets in her way. Kasius tells her don't be rash. Jemma says you sold her! Kasius says if not for you, she wouldn't have fetched such a high price.
Daisy makes it to another elevator. Blue hand stops it. He's carrying produce. She's above him. More brought in. She's sliding. And spotted. Has to fight them. She's sent flying. Then finally uses her power. So not as stealth as I hoped. Panel doesn't work now.
Grill chews out the team. He's pissed. Tess says it was me. Just me. Grill, these people didn't know Virgil. YoYo says you want contraband? He has a gun. Threatened me with it. Grill finds it on him. Grill shocks him. Humans aren't allowed to have firearms. Let that be a lesson! No one is above the rules!
Daisy breaks through a ceiling to get into a hall. Clear walls come down and gas comes out. Kasius enters. Deke told him! We can talk about price later but I expect you'll be more than fair. Kasius says this is Quake, Destroyer of Worlds. How is she here? Daisy swears to kill Deke. He says sorry, sweetheart. I'm just playing the long game.
Coulson wakes in bed. Puts on his shoes. Opens the blast shield. Okay, Phil, enough sightseeing. Get back to work.
Team at work. Trying to figure out getting the radio to work. Virgil, we haven't heard from you in 3 days. Have you secured the delegation? Tess says the surface is where they send people to die.
Roaches eat Zev.
Next ep - Daisy has to give a demo. Discovers Inhumans are made to fight each other. Team is fighting to survive. Potential destruction of the station.
