September 3, 2015 season finale.
SEASON FINALE – Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) will be forced to work together as a couple in ways they never have before if they hope to defeat their destined foe in Liam (guest star Jason Gedrick), who will do everything he can to expose Vincent as a beast in order to destroy their love. Austin Basis, Nina Lisandrello, and Nicole Gale Anderson also star. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Brad Kern (#313).
Episode 13:
Heather and Cat going over Cat's past cases involving Vincent. Vincent gets home. Any idea of what Liam's next move is? He says police were asking about Vincent at the hospital. He and Cat go in the bedroom. Vincent is freaking out. He wants to go after Liam now. Cat says Liam is trying to bait you. He wants you to panic. Vincent says I can't let him expose us. If the world finds out what I am, you'll suffer. I can't let that happen. Cat implores him to talk to JT first.
Church graveyard. Liam digs up a body. A guy comes looking. Liam kills him.
Precinct. Tess on the phone. Cat comes in the office. Tess trying to protect Cat. The commissioner's office is looking into the cases. Cat says let's figure out which case Liam is digging up next. Tess says JT will be screwed. He covered for Vincent a lot. And Cat has the most to lose if this blows up. Cat says there has to be a way to appeal to Liam from before he crossed the primal line. What if we could remind him of who he was before all the suffering?
JT tells Vincent you can't go against Liam by yourself. Vincent says the fights ended in a draw. JT says because the fights got cut short. I'm not dying anymore. If I can give you the same power Juliana gave Liam..... You can't go all rogue cowboy. Vincent says Liam is close and watching and he's goading me. JT says this whole exposure thing is not your fault. You've done nothing but good since. Don't go doing anything stupid, okay? Okay. Police knock on the door. JT tells Vincent to hide. He does. JT answers the door. He's under arrest. Accessory after the fact. Conspiracy. He's cuffed. Read his rights.
Tess and Cat looking at cases. Phone rings. Vincent tells Cat that JT just got arrested. 95th precinct. Detective O'Hara. Vincent says I have to stop Liam now. Cat pleads don't. Vincent says I love you and hangs up.
He drives to the graveyard and calls out for Liam. I know you're here! Let's get this over with! Curt Windsor's grave. Homeland Security surrounds Vincent. Liam watches him get arrested.
*How are they going to get out of this???
DHS. Vincent says I'm being framed. Then what were you doing there? Vincent says I was trying to handle something on my own. DHS says you get framed a lot, Keller. Explain your involvement in these deaths, or we'll bring everyone you know into this. Is that what you want?
Tess on the phone with the other precinct. She's not having luck. Cat on the phone next. Vincent finds her. He has the day to figure out if we want to come clean. If we don't..... I'm so sorry. What's going on with JT? Cat say Tess can't get to him. Vincent says Liam is banking on us never telling the truth. So let's tell Russo I'm a Beast. At least this way, we're in control. Cat says we can't trust them. We don't know what they'd do. Vincent says we don't have much of a choice, and I can't let everyone's lives be screwed. Cat says what about after? We don't know that our lives won't go back to how we started, with you on the run. He knows. But he's holding on to having faith in each other, and everything will be okay.
Russo says let's hear Vincent out. Hernandez and Russo meet with Cat and Vincent. She says don't freak out. About what? Vincent Beasts out. Cat says "That." LOL.
Cat says human beasts exist. Some born this way, some made like this by the gov't. We'll trade info in exchange for amnesty. We risked it all in the hopes you'd go after the real threat, which is Liam. If we don't work together, more people will die. They ask what's the plan? Vincent says make Liam think he won. Make him believe you're going to expose me and kill me. Then he'll be vulnerable. Hernandez isn't wanting to play.
Tess picks up JT. She tells him Cat and Vincent are trying to make a deal with DHS. Telling them the truth. He says it's crazy. Tess says they didn't have a choice. Vincent texts her.
Russo says they're not lying about Liam. Hernandez is skeptical. He wants to know exactly what's going on. They get attacked. Hernadez is killed. Russo fires his gun. And runs. Liam takes off.
Vincent and Cat hear an alarm. Russo comes back in. Don't move! Vincent knocks him out. He runs, leaving Cat there after kissing her. I love you so much. Russo comes to.
Vincent tries to escape the building. He's on the parking structure. Running. He Beasts and leaps off the edge. Gets shot in the air and falls on the ground. Cat comes running and sees him unconscious on the street. Then runs down there.
Liam watches the commotion. Paramedics near the body. Checks if Vincent is alive with his senses. Hears Vincent's heart stop.
*Is this part of the plan? Make Liam believe he's gotten revenge on Vincent? Did Vincent stop his own heart?
Vincent is rushed into the ER. Russo asks how is he? Cat says he's fighting for his life. Tess and JT arrive. Russo says get her out of here now.
Doctors work on Vincent. JT says I got this. Syringe! Now paddle him. He injects Vincent with the healing serum.
Apartment. Heather asks what's happening? Cat is freaking out. Tess says she can't know if Vincent is alive or dead. Liam has to believe he's succeeded. Heather asks how Vincent convinced him. Cat says he can stop his heart. But he wasn't supposed to get shot. Heather says you have to believe you lost Vincent so when Liam comes for you like he did with Rebecca... He'll believe my suffering and let his guard down.
JT finally gets Vincent alive. Vincent's asking what's going on, where's Catherine? Russo gets the doctors out. What was in that vial? JT explains. Vincent says Now do you believe me? JT says Liam is superhuman. Vincent gets up. Now I have to track Liam and hope I get to him before he kills Cat. He leaves.
Liam in Cat's apartment. She tries attacking him. He knocks her down. Heather pepper sprays him. Cat says don't touch her. You came here for me, not her. He says True and busts out the window with Cat in his arms. They're gone.
*20 minutes left!
Heather calls Tess. Vincent staggers in. Cat's been gone 30 minutes. Heather says you're right, Liam's following his old MO. She tells Vincent how to find Cat.
Liam takes Cat underground. She finds his lair. He's been here since Rebecca betrayed him. She says Rebecca never betrayed you. She loved someone else. All this is about Rebecca dumping you, and now you're making the world pay? Liam says she made her choice. Imagine never having the chance at love again because you're a Beast. Cat asks what does killing innocent people do for you? He says denying others of the joy I'm denied is all I have. Cat keeps asking him about Rebecca, trying to remind him of the past.
Vincent tracking.
Liam says it's a one-way door. Cat says no, for all I know, Vincent crossed the line and came back several times before me. She tries to appeal to him. Liam asks if you're trying to save me now? Or yourself. She says I'm trying to save both of us. It's not too late. You can sense if I'm telling the truth. Am I? There's a growl. Vincent rips out Liam's heart. Liam falls. Vincent hugs Cat. She cries with relief.
*10 minutes left.
Vincent and Cat back at DHS. Russo had to clear things with the deputy secretary. Since you helped us deal with Liam, the Secretary is covering for you. Liam was looking for a scapegoat. Since your past cases were similar to Liam's, I can blame them on Liam. And we're taking over the cases from the NYPD. Sorry for shooting you. Russo says what happens next, I can't control. Genie's out of the bottle.
The bar. Food and drinks. Celebrating. Getting drunk. We beat Liam. Yes, together. To healing powers! Lots of drunk giggling. Heather proposes a toast to Rebecca and Alastair. Tess says all we have to do is get you two hitched. JT says why not tonight? Heather says you have to plan weddings. Tess says he has a point. Why wait? Vincent says I guess.... Cat asks who is going to marry us? JT suggests Tess. So.....they all agree.
The rooftop is decorated. People changed clothes. Champagne. Cat comes up in a dress with a bouquet. Tess officiates. Vincent says his vows to Cat. Then she says hers. Tess asks Vincent if he takes Catherine? I do. She asks Cat. I do. JT hands over the rings. Vincent puts the ring on her finger. Till death do us part. Cat says her vow. Tess pronounces them husband and wife. Kiss her, you're married! Cheers and dancing and tossing the bouquet. Awwwwwww. Pop the champagne.
