"The Team"
MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. – “The Team” – Agent Daisy Johnson must call upon the Secret Warriors for an inaugural mission that will leave no member unscathed, and S.H.I.E.L.D. learns more about Hive’s powers, forcing them to question everyone they trust, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, APRIL 19 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/Kelsey McNeal)
Episode 17:
Secret Warriors in the plane. Daisy's impatient. Fly faster!
Miami. Joey on a date with a guy.
Colombia. Yo-yo about to board a bus.
Joey and Yo-yo get their watch calls for pick-up.
Daisy tells them about the mission. Lots of unknowns. We do have a way in. When do we land? They're parachuting. Daisy says let's put our gifts to good use.
Malick and Hive. Meet with Giyera. Hive asks if the agents survived. Giyera sent in a team.
Our team locks themselves in a room. May's bleeding badly. Coulson tells Fitz to find something to keep these guys at bay.
Daisy gives orders when they're in the base.
Joey and Yo-yo discuss his date. Take out guards on a floor above.
Daisy finds a control room. Tells them the entrance to get to the Zephyr.
Lincoln zapping Hydra guys. Handling himself well. He finds Malick.
Hydra trying to get our agents. Fitz rigging up something. Sends gas into the hallway. They back off.
Giyera confronts them. Daisy takes him out. Secret Warriors take Malick into the Zephyr. Lincoln is zapped by that Inhuman. Petrified. Joey helps out.
Yo-yo gets to our team. It's good to see you again. You look well. Mack's happy to see her. Daisy comes in. Coulson asks what took you so long? Daisy asks Got someone that can fly this thing? May says she can still fly.
Hive helps Giyera up. Giyera says we lost them again. Accomplished nothing. Hive says not true. Says now we have one on the inside.
Team changing in the locker room. Secret Warriors excited about the win. Lincoln thanks Joey for saving him. Daisy congratulates them for good work.
Coulson interrogating Malick. What is that thing parading around as Grant Ward? Malik says Arabians are magnificent, hard to control. My daughter rode Arabians. Coulson asks where's Stephanie now, Gideon? He says I was foolish. He killed her! Cares nothing for us. It is a god, just not ours.
Lincoln looking at the old ball. Daisy says check it in, along with the Terrigen. Locked up. She admits he made a good play, but tell me next time. He says check on Joey. He's shaken.
Mack and Yo-yo touring HQ. He's speaking Spanish. She says his Spanish is much better. He says our mission is to protect. We do our best to not kill. Shows her weapons that kill and don't kill. She says she trusts him.
Fitz and Simmons checking out the Inhuman. He's dead-ish. Quarantine. Still has a body temp.
Malick says the Inhumans will all worship It. Coulson says his name is Hive. He's a parasite. Moves from corpse to corpse. Malick says those that were loyal to me now serve him. They became part of the Hive. Coulson is skeptical. Malick says how many of your Inhumans do you think he turned? If you trust any of them, stop now.
Coulson leaves the room. He's thinking about it. Mack asks if everything's okay. Coulson tells him to quietly lock down the base.
Fitz doesn't want to believe. Mack says put them in containment now. Coulson says we need more info. Get me proof. I need a test and a cure. Mack says that's a hell of a gamble. Coulson says we keep them in the base. Daisy enters and asks what's up? Coulson says the base is locked down just because of Malick as a precaution. She says Joey killed the Colombian and doesn't want to go in the field again. Coulson says he'll talk to him.
Yo-yo's not happy about the lock. Daisy can't find Joey. May doesn't want her pain meds. Daisy tells Lincoln to give her a minute. May says you did good today. Daisy thinks Coulson's lying about the lockdown. May says if he's withholding, it's for the right reasons.
Coulson talks to Malick again. Malick wanted to resurrect a god, but instead I freed the Devil. I sacrificed my brother to him and he took my daughter. i failed her. What else matters? Coulson says what you do next matters. I'm trying to sell you on revenge. I hunted down and murdered Grant Ward. I wanted to feel him die. That's the sin that gave your devil new life. Tell me how to stop it. I've met gods. Gods bleed. Malick asks what would you like to know? Everything.
Lincoln finds Joey.
Mack watching video of the Inhumans. May comes in. What the hell is going on, Mack? He says too damn much.
Fitz and Simmons looking at the body. About to split open this guy's head. She reveals the skull. Fitz is squeamish. He wishes there was one hour where people weren't trying to kill us. She reveals the brain. There's nastiness in it!
May tells Coulson that Malick wasn't lying. Mack says The parasites infest the brain, but it doesn't seem to make permanent damage. Coulson says we have to ice the Inhumans. Explain later when it's safe. May says Daisy felt like you were lying to her. Power goes out.
Mack goes for weapons. One kill disk is gone.
Malick's room is open. Fitz and Simmons investigate. That bomb goes off.
Fitz and Simmons wake. Coulson helps them up. Malick was already dead. Coulson says come with me. Get patched up and lay low. Lincoln and Daisy ask questions. Coulson orders them to the common area.
Yo-yo asks Mack what's going on?
Coulson tells them Hive can sway Inhumans. Daisy says my team wouldn't do that. Lincoln's getting mad. Daisy tells him to stop.
Yo-yo takes a gun. Joey gets her away. Lincoln and Daisy ask where Joey was. Thy think we're infected. Daisy says we stay calm and stay together. Yo-yo says screw SHIELD. Daisy says this is why Coulson didn't want to tell us. Now they're suspicious of each other.
May and Coulson.
Yo-yo and Joey speaking Spanish. Joey just wants to leave. He says he wasn't gunning for Malick. You were. Daisy asks Lincoln where he was during the electrical failure? Joey's freaking out. Yo-yo doesn't trust anyone. Lincoln says no one leaves. Daisy says we need to figure this out on our own terms. She wants to get to a hidden elevator. Only way we all live today.
Looking through the lockers.
Daisy leading the Inhumans. Into the box. Coulson says I mean no harm. But one of us is sick. Now we know who is. He says this was taken from the assets room and hidden in your locker. Lincoln says he didn't do it. Coulson says you've stolen from that room before. Lincoln says that was different. Coulson says no, it's the same. Starts listing other evidence that Lincoln might be guilty. Daisy says he wasn't turned last night? Coulson says no, a long time ago. The case against Lincoln looks bad. Lincoln loses his temper and starts zapping. Daisy knocks him out with her power.
**Lincoln's a bit paranoid and definitely defensive, but that doesn't make him guilty.
Daisy says it took so little to split our team apart. I failed them. Coulson says today wasn't your fault. She doesn't feel that way. Coulson says we were attacked by something very smart and very dangerous. It destroyed trust.
Yo-yo is mad at Mack.
Joey doesn't want to be here anymore.
Coulson tells Daisy we have to do what's best for the team. Times like these, I understand why people pray. For the time being, Inhumans can't encounter Hive. I have to keep you in quarantine. I'm sorry. She says we'll be stronger next time. You'll see.
Fitz and Simmons wondering how to fix this. She wants to help our friends. Leans on him. They hold hands. And kiss!!! He apologizes. She says it's been 10 years. We can't waste any more time. Really? really. She's tired of seeing people ripped apart from each other. He says we won't let it. I've got something magnificent right here. A picture of space. LOL. She kisses him.
Daisy and Lincoln talk through the wall. He promises he did not betray the team. She came to get him out. We can walk out. We can be together. He argues. How did you get out of your cell? She says SHIELD can't hold us. He says what did you do?
Hive infected her in the base! She says they have something we need. Hive says do it.
Lincoln backs away. This is what Hive's sway looks like. He's using you! You're sick! She says no, I'm happier than I've ever been. It's beautiful. it's a bond. He says people are dying!
She entered Malick's cell. He says I was curious who Hive would send. I know what you're going to do. She used her power on him. Killed him, then set the bomb.
Daisy says Malick doesn't matter. Lincoln says do I matter that little to you? You framed me! She apologizes. I'm not throwing you away. He says you use that against me?! She says I'm here for you now! We can have all of it together. He doesn't want any part of this. She leaves him.
She gets the ancient ball. And the Terrigen. Packs a bag. Prepared to leave. She uses her power in the hangar, shaking the ground. The roof starts caving in.
The others feel the quake.
Coulson can't get in. Ceiling comes down on him.
She leaves while debris falls behind her. The hangar collapsing on the Zephyr.
Hive and Giyera. Hive says Gideon is dead. Giyera says there's the issue of his estate. $960 million. Hive says let's spend it.
Next eps - Daisy's vision of the future becomes reality. Who will die? Agents of SHIELD: Fallen Agent.
