THE REMAINING WHITE OAK BULLET - When rumors begin to spread about the remaining white oak bullet, dangerous foes descend upon New Orleans in an attempt to take down Klaus (Joseph Morgan) once and for all. As the threats continue to grow, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) urges his siblings to lay low at the compound while Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) and Josh (guest star Steven Krueger) chase down a lead involving a mysterious vampire named Sofya (guest star Taylor Cole), who may have the answers they're looking for. Meanwhile, tensions inside the compound build as Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) is forced to come face to face with his brother Finn (guest star Casper Zafer), the person responsible for his death. Elsewhere, Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) seek shelter with her former pack and stumble upon some unsettling news involving the threat against them. Danielle Campbell and Riley Voelkel also star. Episode 16:
Band in the bar. Elijah on the piano! Playing jazz. Damn. Listens to a conversation. Someone that wants to take out Klaus.
He follows the man. And runs into two. Marcel says we agreed. You wanted to keep the Strix for security. Let them do your job. Elijah wanted me time. Marcel says as soon as you're safe. LOL.
Vincent has the bullet. A blonde woman found him. He says I'm not an easy target. She has company. Know when you're outmatched. Vincent takes down her guys. But not her. She bites him. Who are you? A hired gun. You're in my way. She takes the bullet from his pocket.
Klaus and Hayley made a stop. She says we need to blend in. Klaus wants to go to a tropical destination. She asks for the keys. He asks how much will I despise this plan of yours? A solid 85. Oh good.
Josh and Marcel. Marcel asks how have i wronged you this time? Josh says the Strix were supposed to be gone. Marcel says I still need them. Josh wants to join. Marcel says no. They're only staying to protect Elijah. Josh says then they know about the auction, huh? Of the last bullet? He ran down online rumors. The highest bidder gets the bullet today. Vincent tells Marcel what happened.
Lucien asks Freya to be let in. She asks what he wants? He's intrigued by her. The spark between us. She says this isn't a good time.
Kol tells Elijah he saw Finn. Kol wants to kill him. Thinks Finn is against Klaus. Freya says he's innocent. Kol does not agree. He's an enemy of our family. She disagrees. Kol says he murdered me! Elijah asks her are you certain? Finn walks in. Perhaps you're right to doubt my intentions. By all means, let's discuss our family quarrels. We're long overdue.
**uh oh.
A bar. Klaus and Hayley. Bartender says we're closed. She orders a bourbon. Black man recognizes her. Hollis, meet Hope. She's still wearing her wedding ring. She introduces Klaus as her daughter's father. We need a place to lay low. He says it's a rough time around here. A lot of people have given up the pack altogether. He'll pour the moonshine. Baby drinks for free.
Marcel calls Elijah and tells him about the auction. Strix are spooked. Half want to bury you alive. Elijah says tell them the compound is quite secure. God Speed, Marcellus.
Kol and Finn bickering. Lucien helps Freya separate them. Elijah says behave yourselves. Right now, we're all at risk. Dispense with all this posturing and get down to some good old family bonding.
Klaus complaining. Teases her about Elijah. She says you're making this all about you again. Hollis says turn down the volume. There was a robbery at the gas station. Hayley remembers Kayla. Teenager has triggered her curse. Klaus says we're supposed to keep a low profile. He says from now on we do things my way.
Marcel and Josh and Vincent grabbed a guy with an auction login. The blonde woman says the opening bid is 5 million. Shall we begin? Josh says these guys are not playing around. Marcel tells him Latin to type in. Bid accepted. Phone buzzes. Congratulations. 4 o'clock. She gives an address. Suite 1. Marcel says alright, let's go get our prize.
**Seem too easy to anyone else?
Finn and Freya. He says there can be no reconciliation. She says you told me things could be different. He says you misunderstood me. Elijah asks for a private moment. How was Hell? Is it warm this time of year? Finn asks do you intend to threaten me? He's had time to reflect. But I'm done trying to atone for past sins. Elijah says it's curious that you speak as though we're not the same. Finn asks to be put in a witch's body. Allow me and Freya to go and I'll never come near you again.
Josh enters the suite. Aldis Charlemagne. He's attacked. She knows he's Joshua. Tell Marcel he can't avoid the inevitable. Tells her boys to make it hurt.
Hayley can't turn her back on the kid. Klaus says get in the car, we're leaving. She says no. My friends are helping us, no questions asked. Maybe if you hadn't been a dick to everyone, we wouldn't be in this mess! You're incapable of even pretending you're a good person. The enemies you have are the ones YOU MADE. Is that how you want your daughter to see the world? I won't let you raise her to be just like you. I'm going to speak to that girl because she needs my help and you're going to stay here and shut up. There's a good chance our daughter will be dealing with this one day and I hope someone will help her, too. Being kind doesn't make you weak, Klaus.
Kol rants to Davina. She says calm down. You need something to take your mind off it. She kisses him. He says it won't work. He wants Finn to suffer for what he did to me, to us. She promises he will. Kisses him again. He almost bites her neck, and runs away.
Josh getting beat on. Marcel rips their hearts out. Vincent with him. Josh bites his hand. Vincent will track her using Josh's blood on her clothes.
Road's closed. Hold tight. She's on the phone with her boss. Marcel knocks on the car window. She tries to run. Strix surround her. She says I don't get paid enough to die. Marcel asks for a name. She's quiet. You don't understand. I'll be good as dead. Now you're in his way, so are you.
**Hmmm. Who does she work for????
Davina looks through the books. Opens one. Finds a spell to rip out and use against Finn.
Kol stewing. Elijah says don't. kol says he cursed me to die slowly in front of her. If nothing else, I owe him for that. Elijah says perhaps he be expelled altogether. Kol gets mad. Elijah says control yourself. Unless you can't. Kol says it's worse than I remember. The rage, the hunger. It's been growing worse since I came back. I never did learn to keep it in check. never cared to. And now you do. Kol couldn't live with himself if he hurt Davina. But hurting the ones we love is what we do, isn't it? Elijah says it is who we are.
Hayley knocks on a trailer. Kayla runs her to. Hayley's so sorry. I heard there's not much of a pack left, so you need someone to talk to. You're a lot tougher than you think you are, and no matter how awful you feel, you're not alone. Hayley wants to show her a place.
Compound. Finn finds Davina. She says I was looking for you. He says you're on the wrong side. Tells her about Kol ruining a girl. She doesn't believe him. He thinks she does. She says Kol has changed, but you're still the monster you've always been. She starts magic. Get comfy. I just locked you in that body you hate so much. He attacks her. Kol attacks him. They're brutal on each other. Kol tosses him. Grabs a candle. Freya says stop. Elijah reaches Kol. Enough!
Kol would rather leave than stay with this lot. Elijah tells Freya it'll be fine. Marcel brought the bullet. Finn grabs it from the fire. I can't bear an eternity with no hope of escape. Can you?
Hayley lights braziers. Kayla sits. What is this place? Hayley says the pack came here when someone triggered their curse to honor the dead in order to move on. Kayla doesn't know the man's name. Hayley gives her the wallet. She called in a favor to the sheriff's dept. The turning will hurt and the first full moon will be a bitch, but yo're tough. You can handle it. You can't let the past define who you are. Kayla takes the wallet to the shrine and puts the man's license on it. Klaus watches from the dark.
Elijah asks for the bullet. Give it to me! Lucien takes it. Tosses it to Elijah. Come on, then. Go on and destroy it! Finn pleads with him. Lucien says you can't keep that White Oak in this house, Elijah. It's a beacon. Lucien says entrust it to the one that loves you most. Freya will cloak herself and take it far away, hide it under a thousand spells. Until the day comes you're ready for release. Elijah gives it to her.
Marcel and Vincent and Josh. Still have the woman. I let you take that bullet. He wanted you to have it. Who? Vincent sensing magic. Candles go out. He's attacked. In pain. Getting visions. I understand. Breaks Josh's neck. Releases her. Ancestors don't want me to kill you. Want me to help you, to help him. May God have mercy on us all.
**I hate those Ancestors! Not a nice bunch at ALL.
Klaus comes over. Hope is with Hollis. baby steps, as it were. Seems I owe you an apology. I've given you a thousand reasons to abandon me. You haven't, yet. Thank you, for my sake, and our daughter's. Perhaps you're right. Perhaps it's time to live by what we together decide. Partners, for Hope. He notices something. Wolves are being hunted.
Marcel and Elijah. Marcel doesn't envy Elijah. Elijah says I can handle my brothers. Marcel says we'll get a name soo enough. Elijah says it seemed too easy. Marcel says maybe I'm just that good. He leaves. Phone call to Elijah. Elijah tells Klaus that he can come home.
Klaus says Kingmaker is still targeting wolves. What we don't know is why. Elijah says what if it was all a distraction? What if the problem has been right in front of us?
Vincent finds Freya. Something wrong? He knocks her out. Van pulls up. She's taken. Bloody hell.
Lucien has Freya. Takes the bullet from her pocket. He's ready for some real fun.
Next ep - Mystic Falls. Lucien wants to become an original. Become an upgrade.
