"The Sin-Eater"
CHINA WHITE, CUPID, AND LIZA WARNER BREAK OUT OF PRISON — China White (guest star Kelly Hu), Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick), and Liza Warner (guest star Rutina Wesley) break out of Iron Heights and head to Star City for revenge. Oliver (Stephen Amell) tries to bring in the newly-formed girl gang but the ACU intervenes mid-fight. To his surprise, they are there to arrest the Green Arrow for the murder of Detective Malone. Meanwhile, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) feels responsible for the prison break after Warner tells him she heard about him working with Damien Darhk. Episode 14:
Staking out a house. Oliver and Diggle in the car. Outside the house bought for Claybourne's mistress. Oliver rings the bell. She knows who he is. He asks to come in. Very lovely home. He says there's a serial murderer terrorizing Star City. There's reason to believe that is your son. She says she hasn't seen him since Justin's funeral. Oliver says your son has erased all traces of himself from the internet and I want his name. He needs help and I want him to get that help. She says cage him like an animal, like the animal that killed his father. He's doing it because he's hurt and scared and I won't help you ruin his life. Get out. Oliver says I'm reachable if you change your mind. She won't.
Prison bus. Cupid stands. Jail break! Driver shot. All the female prisoners are let out. Star City women take the bus home.
Arrow Cave. Felicity will look into the woman's e-mail. A petabyte of data. Dinah says something happened while you were away. Warner, China White, and Cupid. Dig asks Dinah if she's ready for her big moment. Swearing her in as a cop again.
Oliver in his office. Susan comes in. Hi. Hi. He smiles and kisses her. I'm sorry. For canceling dinner. She asks if they're ever going to meet up again. He says of course. Everything okay? yes, no, definitely not. He says lay it on me. What's up? She asks if she's the Green Arrow. He says yeah. Really? He says no, I thought you were joking. Aren't you? She asks if that's a no, for the record. No, for the record. He's called away.
Russia. Anatoly and Oliver planning. Anatoly isn't into it. We need army. Oliver says who can we trust? We're talking about a coup. Oliver will stay until we take out Gregor and protect Bratva. Anatoly says in some cultures, there's a sin eater, so they go on to the afterlife. He takes those sins as his own. Oliver has seen the same orderly pass by 5 times with an empty stretcher. Anatoly gets out of bed.
Oliver swears in Dinah. She's in dress uniform. Welcome to the SCPD, Officer Drake. Thea asks if everything's okay with Susan? Oliver's assistant is her mole. Informant. He tells her what Susan asked. She asks what he said. He says he handled it. Been doing this a while now. Quentin brings up Liza Warner. Felicity has their location. Quentin asks where am I going? this is personal, Oliver.
We're a little late. Dead Triad. Overwatch, all we've got here are bodies and a security camera. Green Arrow has a video screen on his gauntlet now! Latest suit upgrade, heh? Quentin feels this is on him for Warner's sins.
Video in the Arrow Cave. China White asked where is the depository? Or storage. Oliver says we gotta find what they're looking for.
Russia. Oliver and Anatoly under fire in the hospital. Oliver saving them. They hide.
Police gets a delivery. Get the ACU in the conference room in 5 minutes.
Thea tells Felicity that Susan suspects Oliver is the Green Arrow. They agree she won't drop it. Hack into her computer and delete it. File named Oliver Queen info. We have to delete all this. What do we do?
Team Arrow. Curtis upgraded his jacket. He and Rene grab a guy. What is the depository? Triad man says Church is dead and never got to spend the 100 mil. That's the depository.
Green Arrow and Quentin. Gotta get that new girl a code name. Oliver says I was considering Black Canary. Quentin says as long as she does Laurel proud. The bad girls are there. Warner says everything's going as planned. Arrow says think again. You have failed this city. Quentin says you're under arrest. They don't agree and the fight ensues. He chased Warner. She's got an injured arm. She was in the TV room and saw Quentin had worked for Darhk. he says what I did and what you're doing are not the same thing! She says they are and runs off.
ACU breaks in and lets Cupid and China White get away to arrest Green Arrow for the arrest of Detective Malone.
You're making a mistake. They tell him to drop the bow. He sets off a flash and gets away.
Arrow Cave. He tells Felicity. Quentin learns about Billy. Oliver says we have to handle this right now. Quentin wants to talk to police, but Oliver has to handle it because he's mayor.
They meet with the captain. Adrian asks for evidence. Captain gives them the ME report. Oliver says that wasn't in the original report. Quentin says it doesn't mean it was the Green Arrow. Oliver says he has it on good authority that it wasn't the Green Arrow. I'm not at liberty to say. Captain says he's got a cop killer to find, then. Oliver asks Adrian to leave. Oliver tells Quentin that it was Prometheus. His mother is from Opal City. Prometheus is keeping me in check. Susan texts. Oliver goes to his office.
She's upset. Did you get fired? Her producer called her out for plagiarism. My laptop is filled with evidence. I have to wonder about the timing. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before I asked you were the Green Arrow. Oliver swears it wasn't him and I don't know anything about this. She brings up his Bratva history. And the man with a bow and arrow in Russia. If the next words out of your mouth are a lie, I'd prefer you said nothing at all.
Oliver confronts Felicity. She admits Yes. What were you thinking? She says Thea asked her to put things on Susan's computer. What did she do?
Russia. Oliver asks Anatoly if she's ready to run. Gregor's there. Hand over the American. Once he's dead, we'll talk. Oliver wants to surrender so Anatoly will live. Only one of us will make it out alive. Anatoly says you will not surrender for my sins, Oliver. Oliver says I'm not giving you a choice.
Thea and Quentin. She was busy taking out the trash. Heh. Quentin says Warner is my mess to clean up. Her rehab was short lived because she saw my confession on TV. Thea says that's crap, Quentin. You didn't make her into a criminal. Stop taking responsibility for other people's sins. He likes how wise she's getting lately. She says I've committed my own sin today. Find Warner because she's a criminal.
Bad girls arrive for their latest attack. They support each other. Warner asks for the money. They take a hostage to be shown to the money.
**Susan was pursuing the truth. She didn't deserve to have her reputation completely ruined. Plus, stupidly, it confirms her suspicion due to the timing!! Don't be reactionary, idiots. Thea and Felicity didn't think. They panicked. And of course Thea was looking for an excuse to be a mean girl to Susan.
Oliver in his office. Susan got fired today. Thea says she didn't know that would happen. I just wanted to discredit her. Oliver says you should've come to me with this! She says we'd be having the same conversation we're having now. She wanted to keep his hands clean. Oliver says you blew up her life! Thea says I didn't mean for it to go this far. he says you did. You knew what you were doing. That's the part I don't understand. Who does this to a person? Quentin comes in and says the girls hit the Bertinellis and took a guy. Oliver says the police will handle it. Prometheus didn't give me a choice. What's happening now is something I did. I fired the arrows. Quentin says Thea was talking to me about not taking on other people's sins. That was Prometheus, not you. Oliver says it would mean more if it didn't come from Thea right now. Quentin doesn't know what that means, but if you sit out, justice isn't served. Oliver agrees to go into it.
Oliver goes to the Captain. It's about the Green Arrow. I know I told you the Green Arrow was not responsible for Billy. That's not entirely true. Prometheus manipulated the Green Arrow by making Malone look like Prometheus. Chase covered it, fearing a public panic. The Green Arrow told me this. Captain asks why should I believe this? Oliver says what's the simpler answer? Green Arrow suddenly becomes a cop killer, or he was manipulated by a psycho killer that's been running all of us in circles for months. Captain says he still killed a cop. Oliver says And he'll have to live with that for the rest of his life. All I ask is you don't stop him from being the hero this city needs. Captain says I need to think on this. Oliver thanks him for his time.
Felicity has an address. Oliver says text me the address. She suggests the team handle it. He says text me the address.
Team Arrow in the Cave. Felicity tells Dinah you can't go in the field and be recognized. Gives her a mask. Dinah isn't sure she's ready, yet.
Police station. Captain tells them to track the Arrow to China White, Cupid, and Warner.
Team Arrow on site. Cemetery. Money bags in a crypt. Warner says take what you can carry. Dinah blasts them. She's carrying a bo staff. Quentin and Green arrow on the other side. Cupid runs and is tackled by Spartan. Warner bought thugs to start shooting. Cupid shoots Rene. Curtis grabs her. Dinah fights with China White. Curtis is in trouble. Green Arrow fights China White. Spartan and Quentin has Rene hidden. Cops show up. And don't arrest the vigilantes. Arrow thanks the Captain. Sorry about Billy Malone. Something I'll have to deal with the rest of my life.
Warner in interrogation. Quentin visits. She says you're no better than me. Dinah asks him if he's okay outside. He says yeah. She says I'm not ready to take your daughter's place, sir. He says she wanted someone to carry on in her place.
Oliver goes to Thea. She apologizes. Really sorry. I screwed up. Oliver says you made a choice. Reminded me of someone. Mom. She would've done something like this. Exactly this. She was a wonderful mother, but didn't always make the best choices. Whatever happens with Susan is what will happen. Right now, I'm really worried about my baby sister.
Russia. Oliver gives himself up. Gregor didn't expect that. promises Anatoly will not be harmed. Oliver shoots them. Gregor finds Anatoly. Holds a gun to his head.
Adrian says we have a problem. Turn on the TV. Reports of a major cover up of the murder of Billy Malone. Mayor's office may have ordered a cover-up. Could lead to impeachment proceedings. Oliver says this isn't a problem. This might be the end of my administration.
Next ep - Vigilante vs. the Mayor. Shoots at the limo.
