"BLOOD MAGIC"
03/10/2017 (08:00PM - 09:00PM) (Friday) : A STRING OF BRUTAL DEATHS MAY BE TIED TO AN UNLIKELY PERPETRATOR - After a series of brutal and deadly attacks, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) find an unlikely lead in a local nursing home. Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) goes to Adalind (Claire Coffee) to get answers that only a Hexenbiest can provide. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) confronts Nick about the mysterious symbols and tries to strike a deal. Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, and Bree Turner also star. TV-14 V
Episode 10:
Covering the mirror at Monroe and Rosalee's. Monroe wonders if it's all reflections. She says just stick to mirrors right now. He's nervous. Worried about bringing this into their home. She says we have to do everything we can to stop it. Monroe will have some seriously bad hair days for a while. LOL.
Eve and Adalind. How do these mirrors work? How to go through them? I think it will kill me if I don't do anything about it. Nick saw it, too. What if it goes after him. Your mother had more knowledge than either of us. Ever mention portals to another world or moving through mirror? Do you still have her books? Adalind says those books could be just as dangerous. Eve says it's connecting to me because I can see those symbols. We have to find this thing and kill it. Adalind will get the books.
Eve in the basement with the grimoires. Opens one.
Women leave a restaurant. One leaves to get the car. And is tackled and attacked. Thrown onto the car.
Nick comes to the flat. Adalind asks if he's hungry. He says no. She says Eve came by and tells him what she wanted. Gave her the spellbooks. She's worried it'll come after her, you, Diana. I think she's looking for redemption. He asks if there's anything in the books that could get her to that place? Adalind doesn't know. Hank calls. Nick will talk to Eve later.
the body scene. Wu updates them. Not a robbery. Let's see if the friend is Wesen. Talk to Allie. Who would hurt Maddie? Allie doesn't know. Can't believe this is happening. Did you see anyone follow her? Allie is too distraught. Nick tells Wu to look for surveillance.
Nursing home. Old lady wants to run again. Through the woods. So many trees. Nurse gets her back to bed. She asks who are you? He his Mason who helps take care of her, remember? She remembers the sweet taste of blood in her mouth. He'll get an extra blanket. It's cold tonight. She wogues! Attacks him. Another nurse comes in. Did you see it?! What was it? Don't touch me!
Precinct. Nick looking into Maddie. Hank sees a similar attack 10 days ago. No witnesses, no evidence. Wu has footage from a bank camera. Maddie wasn't followed on this route. Nick says check the other case. What Wesen is doing this?
Eve opens another book. Nick arrives. She says don't be worried. He's very worried about her. She says if we don't get to it, it'll get to us. He says don't do anything alone. She doesn't want to. He suggests she get some sleep. She thanks him for checking up on her. Goes back to the book.
The old woman. Man props the window open. Bug Wesen! tenticles go up her nose.
91 year old died in her sleep last night. Mason arrested. Nurse Barton found her deceased this morning. Nick and Hank talk to her. She thinks Mason is the killer. Nick asks why? She says there's no reason, especially Mrs. Cutler. How long has he worked here? 3 or 4 years. Never had a problem with him before. When he was arrested, he was yelling Mrs. Cutler was a monster and she attacked him. She thinks Mason scared the woman to death.
They talk to the doctor. Mrs. Cutler had dementia. She might have attacked him? Possible. She wasn't in any pain. He doesn't think the orderly was involved in her death. Considering her age and condition, she died of natural causes.

Sean calls Adalind to ask about the symbols. What do they mean? She says I don't know. He wants to see the tunnel. I need to know everything you know. Tell me where that tunnel is. She says take it up with Nick. Goodbye.
Mason runs when Hank and Nick visit.
Mason says I didn't kill her! I didn't kill her! They get him into interrogation. Mason wants a lawyer. Nick says we talked to Dr. Landau. Tell us what happened. You said she was a monster and attacked you. Mason tells them what happened. I was getting her a blanket and I was being attacked by a monster. I don't use drugs. It had yellow eyes and hair everywhere and teeth like a wild dog. I fought back! I pushed it against the wall and then it turned back into Mrs. Cutler. I took care of Mrs. Cutler for three years, she was my friend. Why would I hurt her? They believe him. Really?
ME wants to show them something.
Eve can't open the last book. Wogues. Then it'll unlock. She flips pages.
Adalind tells Diana no making your brother float. Eve calls. Can you tell me about blood magic? Adalind says slow down. Eve suggests what if blood can be used as payment into the other world. Adalind says it's very dangerous. If you got in, how would you get back? Eve says she'll keep looking and hangs up.
ME. No indication the altercation caused her death. But I found a high level of bug saliva in her system. The assassin bug. Is that what killed her? Possibly.
Wu watching video footage. No way.
monroe and Rosalee at the shop. Mrs. Stanton buying a lot of melatonin. Say hi to Mr. Stanton for us. Hmmm. Remember, we do deliver. That was awkward. Monroe says poetry to her. Yates. They kiss. She says my face is changing. LOL. Nick and Hank arrive. Tell them about the bug. Did we catch you at a bad time? Monroe suggests a Godfather of Death. You gotta let this one go, Nick. It's not a police matter. Victim was Wesen, suffering from dementia? Hank ask what's going on? Rosalee says dementia in Wesen community is dangerous. To protect the community, the Godfather is called. They inject them and give them a peaceful death. Who contacts them? Family. Or a Wesen that cares for them. We agreed if one of us is suffering, the other will call. It's how our community works. They know how to make contact, but we cannot tell you who it is unless you promise to not arrest them. Give us your word. Nick agrees. Rosalee says every apothecary has this number. Are you sure you want me to do this? She calls. The voice says I'll return your call in a few hours. Wu calls.
Rosalee hopes they're doing the right thing.
Wu shows them the video. There's Maddie walking to her car. Here's footage from the North Precinct. Same old guy with a cane. Sean asks to talk to Nick in the office.
I want to see the tunnel where these symbols are. What my daughter is involved in and why this is dangerous. Nick says share what you know and I'll do the same.
Monroe and Rosalee home. Maybe he won't call back. She says her father called for her grandfather. She was 5 or 6 and saw him come in the home and go in the room and open the window. My parents stayed in the hallway. My mother started bawling and they hugged. Phone rings. The man asks is it a parent or loved one in need? She lies. Gives the address. Monroe says you think he's coming now? We have to get Nick over here!
Nick and Wu and Hank. Phone rings. Monroe says get here quick. Rosalee told him it was me, so he's coming to kill me.
Knock on the door. She answers. Please come in. Are you prepared for what I have to do? Monroe says truth is we need to talk to you about something else. Dr. Landau! Nick says I'm a Grimm. Landau wogues. They say he's a Grimm but he's a friend! Everyone calms. Nick asks if he helped Mr. Cutler died. The orderly could go to prison for defending himself. The doctor admits he helped her passed. Regrets he waited too long. Nick says convince the nurse and testify in court if it goes to trial. Phone rings. Landau says stay away from him! I'm on my way. Nick wants to go, too. 6931 McClellen. Rosalee says that's Mrs. Stanton.
To the house. Hank and Nick approach. Door ajar. Mrs. Stanton on the floor. Her husband left. Rosalee sits with her. She's not hurt. Doesn't know where her husband went. I tried to get him not to leave again! He doesn't know what he's doing! He left 15 or 20 minutes ago. he's not picking up his phone. Nick says this neighborhood isn't far from the other attacks. Mrs. Stanton tried to keep him from wandering by dosing him with melatonin. She's wake and he'd be gone.
Mr. Stanton thinks he sees Elizabeth. A young woman runs from him. Nick and Hank and Monroe arrive. Mr. Stanton can't find his wife. They say she's at home. We'll take her there. Mr. Stanton wogues. They take him and get him in the car. And back home. But he doesn't recognize her. Where am I? The poor man. Honey, this is your favorite chair. you need to rest. It's okay. I'm right here, sweetheart. Wu arrives. Same cane. Mr. Stanton is the murderer. Nick tells Monroe and Rosalee. He can't go to jail or trial. Nick tells Landau to do what he has to. We won't interfere. Rosalee asks if we should stay. Mrs. Stanton would like that. Laundau opens the window. Mrs. Stanton says goodbye. Norm says okay, Elizabeth. Rosalee holds her hands. Landau wogues.
Eve gets back to the house. I found something you should see! No one home. She uncovers the big mirror. Cuts her hand. Spreads the blood on the mirror. Wogues. More blood. Nothing. She checks the book again. Mirror flexes. Portal opens. She goes in and it closes.
