"Dangerous Liaisons"
THE SEARCH FOR CHASE INTENSIFIES — Oliver (Stephen Amell), Team Arrow, ARGUS, and the SCPD kick off a citywide manhunt for Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra). Helix tells Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) they have a way to find Chase but they will need something big, and illegal, from her in return. Episode 19:
Dark part of town. Delta team in position. ARGUS says Chase is in an arcade. Agents enter. GA team here as well. Curtis is worried about a vintage game. Then the games light up and there are explosions and gun fire. Traps. Curtis upset that the game is damaged.
Oliver and Spartan find an altered game.
Chase left by a secret tunnel. He's on no-fly. Oliver says he won't leave town. He's not done. Quentin can't hold the press off any longer. Oliver is asked how he did not know about Chase being a serial killer. Next reporter asks what he would say to the families of the victims. They're being hard on him.
Felicity at Helix. She hopes they have new tricks. They can't get into ARGUS network. Felicity gets in. Info sent to an unsecured phone. What if Chase has a buddy in ARGUS?
That man in the elevator. Banging. The doors open and he falls out. then the Helix girl finds him dead.
**Did Chase kill the guy because he had no more use for him, or because Felicity/Helix caught on? If the latter, how would he know that?
Oliver and Lyla and Dinah at the death scene. Oliver spots the camera. Curtis makes a joke. Lyla takes a necklace. Felicity sends the video. A meta? No, the elevator flew up and down. Why enter the elevator if not to take the case? Curtis says the elevator was hacked in real time. Felicity recognizes some code. Takes off for Helix.
Quentin and Rene meeting with the husband of a victim. The man is understandably angry and frustrated. His wife was always there for the kids. She loved them and they loved her and now she's gone. Plops a photo in front of Quentin. Find him. She didn't deserve to die like that, and no other family deserves this pain. Quentin says we will find him and he will know the true meaning of justice. Rene can't handle hearing about this all day. Quentin tells him to be more sympathetic. Curtis told him about Rene's wife and daughter. And he offered to help you with a lawyer to get your daughter back two months ago. rene isn't ready.
felicity confronts the hacker. Elena says I didn't mean to kill him. There's a learning curve. She's doing this for the founder of Helix. He's held without cause in ARGUS. You will help me free Cayden. He worked on a tracker to scan for a heart beat anywhere in the world.
Lyla says we have a problem. Access needs 2 keys. She found a copy on the agent. Reprogramming takes 24 hours. Oliver says this doesn't feel like Chase and that's where we need to keep our focus. Lyla asks them to help escort the last agent outside with a key.
Felicity wants to talk to ARGUS for negotiation. Elena hired pros. Plan already in motion.
Port Talbert. Mustang. 3 bogies chasing it. They get her to stop. GA Team 2 blocks away. Dinah blasts the mercs. Oliver engages others.
Felicity calls John to say those guys need to get away with the security key. Felicity has info we don't have. I need you to stand down. Oliver yells at John. Why? To get Prometheus.
Lyla dressing down Felicity. Felicity wants Oliver and John's support. They don't agree. So she gets self-righteous. Marches out. Big surprise. John tells Oliver to let her go. Now isn't the time.
Rene and Quentin. Quentin wants to talk about Zoe. Rene doesn't want to. Quentin would give anything to be with his daughter again. He wants an explanation. Rene has visitation rights, yet he's never used them. Why don't you want to see your daughter?! Rene remembered why they took Zoe from me in the first place. I'm bad news. I hurt her! What? I was reheating some soup for her. Just about all I could make her. It was on the stove and I passed out drunk. She pulled it down and it burned her hand real bad. Her crying woke me up. She deserves better than me, end of story.
Cayden James. Lyla says he's a person of interest. John points out so no trial, no conviction, etc. Oliver considers Felicity might be right. Lyla says he's as dangerous as a loose nuke. I can't put him in play. Oliver brings up the mercs. Lyla wants to set a trap for Helix with James as bait. This is happening with or without your help. She leave the boys to decide. Oliver says we let Felicity get in deep. John knows grief can make people do crazy things, but I'm not the man she was going to marry. You're the only one she'll listen to. Oliver doesn't think he has credibility for that. John says you want to catch Chase. You're the only one who can pull her from the brink.
She's about to leave. Oliver at her apartment. He understands what it's like to do anything to stop Chase. You're willing to do whatever it takes because I did whatever it took to save the city and it created him. We can use other options. She says no. this is our only chance. He asks her don't do this. She calls him a hypocrite, basically. He says you've seen the toll it's taken on me. You're willing to sell your soul to destroy a threat I created. She says I fell in love with you because you do what's right no matter the cost, no matter how hard it is. It makes you you. How can I be any different? You sacrificed your soul. You don't have to carry that burden any longer. Let me do it. He can't. She says then you'll have to stop me.
ARGUS. Lyla and GA Team. Curtis asks what we do if Felicity shows up tonight. Oliver says we stop her.
Lyla tells John where they'll likely breach. Then asks why he's pissed off. He's concerned. What did Felicity mean about you crossing a line? Holding Cayden James without due process isn't right. She defends it. He says you sound like Waller. She says it's easy to say that when you're not at the desk. He's not judging, he's worried. He doesn't want his wife to go to the dark side.
Felicity and Elena. They're armed up. Felicity doesn't want a gun. Elena says ARGUS has them. Wait for my signal.
Quentin got Zoe to the office to surprise Rene. She thanks Hoss after introduction. She made the hockey team at school. Goalie. Rene's proud of her. She asks if they can go home now? He says I'm sorry, sweetheart, but not today. The last time you were with me, you got hurt. She says it was an accident. When can I go home to Daddy? Rene decides to talk to the lawyer and get her back.
Oliver and John. When Lyla and Felicity are willing to cross the line....makes you wonder if there is one?
Felicity given a weaponized tablet. The van goes to the gate. Agents check it. Let it in. Oliver and Spartan above. The van wasn't Helix. We have a problem.
Felicity says this isn't ARGUS. Elena says it is, just not the site they expected.
Lyla says Cayden is at an off-books black site 12 miles away. Helix is about to extract him. She didn't expect them to go there.
Spartan not happy. Lyla says no one was supposed to know about the black site. I'm not discussing this, Johnny. Get your head in the game.
Felicity loves the power of the tablet. They have to find with container has James. They insert the keys. open the container. Cayden? Hooded man. gunfire outside. Elena says we're going to say hi to your friends.
Team Arrow versus the mercs. Spartan finds Elena. Turn around. Hands on your head. She aims a turret at him.
Curtis sends his balls at 2 Helix. They run.
Oliver is blocked by Felicity. Locks him behind the laser wall. Curtis will let you out. She leaves the tablet. I'm sorry. I hope you'll understand after we get Chase. He says don't count on it.
**Sorry, girl, being a hacker doesn't make you invincible. Her arrogance astounds.
Curtis rambling. Diggle says it wasn't a prison, it was an illegal black site on American soil. Oliver says there's nothing to do about Felicity. He poured a drink. Dinah gets Curtis to go home and leave him alone. Oliver sits after thanking them.
Rene finds Quentin working late. Thank you. And an apology. You can teach a dog some new tricks. He spoke to the lawyer and put things in motion. Quentin praises him. She deserves to be with her dad and her dad deserves to be with her. Offers to buy a celebratory club soda. Heh.
Elena thanks Felicity for her help. Your connection to the Green Arrow and his team is a liability. We can't risk it, especially not with Cayden in the fold and ARGUS looking for him. But we left something for you. Envelope. Coding from Mr. James. Take care, Felicity.
Lyla and John's place. Johnny. We need to talk about this. He doesn't think that's a good idea. I could say something I'd regret. You told me you wouldn't become Waller. She says it's more complicated when you're in the job. The world is safer for it. He says it might be safe, but it's not better. This job has changed you. She says the world has changed. It's worse and uglier and we do what we can to protect the people we love. She's not ashamed of what she did, what she'll do. He says we've been down this road before. Where this fight takes us. She says let's stop it, before..... He doesn't know if he can.
Felicity on the computers in the Cave. Oliver says no one from ARGUS was seriously injured in case you were wondering. She says Helix froze me out. He says sorry. She says you don't trust me. He says I was worried. She says after all I've done for you, you couldn't do the same for me. tracker tracks Chase to here. EXPLOSION.
Next ep - EMP. She's paralyzed. We're trapped. Oliver come back, come back.
