“The British Invasion”
THE WINCHESTERS FIND KELLY KLINE – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) get a lead on Kelly Kline’s (guest star Courtney Ford) whereabouts. Mick (guest star Adam Fergus) drops by the bunker unexpectedly and decides to join the hunt. John Showalter directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (#1217). outside London, England, 1987. Teens enter a school. Headmistress asks them to come with her. Into a room. Plastic taped on the floor. She closes the door. timothy and Michael have conquered many trials here. Today we'll learn which of you will matriculate to the next level of training. In order to do this work, we need cadets to employ their skills and execute orders without questions. And so.... only one of you will be leaving this room. Good luck. She leaves them a sword.
The dark haired boy comes out to her. He fought well. He didn't want to die. Mick Davies.
He wakes from a dream.
Impala. Sam on video chat with a deaf woman about Kelly. Check your phone. Shots of Kelly at a building. Nice work, Eileen. Dean says Kelly and Daegon crash this place, then it gets torched. No coincidence. Go get em, Eileen. She says that's the plan. Bye, Sam. Dean says that's cute. Heh.
HQ. Sam wonders if they should call Crowley. Mick inside. Your key opens every chapter house in the world. He's here for an urgent reason. Cosmic shockwave. the Nephilim. Lucifer jacked the President and knocked up his girlfriend and she's on the run with a prince of Hell. Mick isn't happy to be out of the loop. They say they had her and let her go. Kelly changed her mind about ending the pregnancy. Mick says you should've shot her between the eyes immediately. Like you did to that werewolf? Mick says it's not easy but the code demands it. Sam says we're handling it. We'll find her. Dean says until then, I say we drink.
Lucifer contacts Daegon. She says his son is as expected. And the container should last as long as needed. he says don't fail me, Daegon, not again.
Mick dreaming of Timothy. Mick, we have to go. Mick. Mick said he was sorry, and grabbed the sword. Mick awakes to a phone call. The Headmistress. The Winchesters? Making progress. Dr. Hess, last I heard, you and the leadership thought the Winchesters were key to bringing American hunters on board. She says we need the situation in America settled NOW due to the Nephilim. We don't have time to court mangy Colonials. Either they learn to obey, or you turn them over to the assassin and start over. Assimilate or eliminate.
Kelly's in pain. I keep getting these weird little pains. Daegon is sure it's fine. Kelly wants to see a doctor. Daegon says we've been here too long. We should go. Kelly insists on seeing a doctor. I'm not going anywhere until I know my baby's safe.
Dean asleep in the kitchen. Mick can drink. We can drink, but he's got a gold medal. Sam wonders about Mom. Mick says her and Catch make quite a team. Mick was on the streets until the MOL found him. He picked a member's pocket. They signed me up. Sam asks you alright? Mick says always. Got any vodka? Dean's stomach rumbles.
Kelly and Daegon with a doctor. Doc wants to do a sonogram. He does the ultrasound. Zooms in. Daegon compels him to say it's A-ok. He asks about the father.
Lucifer and Crowley. Good puppy. Tennis ball. Puppy want to play? Lucifer playing depressed. He gets up and kneels on the floor. Licks the floor. What are you doing? Lucifer says I'm giving you what you want. Submission. Why? Why not. I'd rather be here than rotting in the cage with my drooling and insane little bro Michael. your game, your rules. I figure I can work with that. You win. What now, sire?
Mick's phone. Catch calling. he and Mary killed a clan of 8 shapeshifters. She asks if he and Mick are longtime friends. Catch says survivors. We were in school together. They're chatty. Mrs. Winchester, I think you're drawn to danger. Cheers.
Mick gets a visit from Renny Rawlings. Dr. Hess's assistant. Sent him overnight. Mick says her lapdog here to keep an eye on me. Stay out of my way. Rawlings says that's not an option.
Doctor's office. He gets a visit from a guy with a knife. Slashes him for the files.
Cas's voice mail. Dean has called 3 times. Call me back. Got a line on Daegon. Need your help. Sam and Eileen. She tracked a dead guy. Dermott's a demon. Covered Daegon's tracks. Sam says smart. Dude, don't compliment the bad guys. LOL. Eileen killed the demon. But she got a number. Sam says nice, and they toast.
Crowley addresses his demons. There might be some confusion about where you're supposed to place your loyalty. Lucifer scares you, or engorges you. Just a rumor of him coming back would be enough for some of you to undermine me. But behold, the beast is humbled. I tamed him. Lucifer agrees that it's of his free will. Crowley says he is my dog. Luci says he's right, my friends. There's only one true ruler of Hell. Me? Oh, yes. And you surrender. Absolutely. And for those that don't obey? Lucifer says whoever doesn't support the one true king will suffer enduring and everlasting agony. I don't hear applause. They applaud, sort of.
Kelly sends Daegon on a vitamin run. The doctor's office calls. Sam with an accent! Does 5PM work for you? He says it's very important. Good, see you then. Eileen is impressed. Mick and Rawlings arrive. I'm Sam, this is Eileen. Rawlings knows her as the Banshee girl. He says he was top of his class. She says no one cares. Mick brought the Colt. But after it has to go back to HQ. Sam says I thought we got past the trust issues.
Dean gets Kelly. Stay cool, walk with me. Into the Impala. to meet with Sam etc. Everyone? Yeah, still no word from Cas. Meets Rawlings. I don't care. Gets Kelly out of the car. Sam says listen, we know you're in a difficult situation. We want to help. Dean says that kid is Lucifer's. She knows. He used me. But I love this child. Mick says that child will kill us all. Sam says we'll figure something out. Daegon arriving. Lightning and wind. She launches them. They get up. Fire at Daegon. She tosses them again. Reaches Kelly. Eileen gets to the Colt and fires. It hits Rawlings because Daegon disappears. He falls to his knees and dead.
Eileen upset. Sam says it was an accident, it's alright. Mick pulls a gun on her. the code. Dean says screw the code. Mick feels he has to. Eileen says please don't. Mick's flashing on memories again. Sam tries appealing to him. You're better than that. you only have to answer to yourself. Do what you know is right. Answer to your own code. Mick lowers the gun. Just go. They get in the Impala.
Mary and Catch slept together. He says unexpected but invigorating. He thought he'd end up shooting her when he first met her. Life is full of surprises. She says you're not reading anything into this. Like it means anything. He says you really needn't worry. I'm not built for that. I suspect you aren't, either? She says wrong, but that was a long time ago. So we're good. He says you took my advice. Your choice to make. She says it's not either or. I'm not choosing hunting over my boys. I'm trying to have it all. He says good for you.
Lucifer and a demon chatting. The demon checking his vessel. Lucifer says you made the right choice. I'm very, very impressed.Demon says the vessel is completely sound. The repairs are secure. Lucifer asks about the security system. It's very much intact. But you can disarm it? Demon doesn't have the means. The designer is dead. Crowley killed him to safeguard the secrets. Luci says you can crack it, right? Demon says I just need some time. Good. Lucifer is getting stir crazy, and I'm about to be a dad.
Eileen in HQ with the boys. Dean asks if she's okay. No. He wasn't a monster. He was.....I.....Sam says it was a mistake. She hugs him. Awwwww.
**Why isn't Cas answering his phone?
Daegon handcuffs Kelly to a bedframe. Kelly says I was trying to protect the baby. Daegon says your baby is so strong. Whatever happens, your baby will be fine. But you, won't Birthing a Nephilim? Fatal. Always.
Catch meets Mick. Why'd you call me here? Catch didn't. Hess is here. She doesn't leave London. But she's been tasked by the elders to fix this situation. 2 days ago, you let a Prince of Hell escape, and the mother of Lucifer's child, and one of my best men was murdered by an American hunter you allowed to live. She won't listen to more of his excuses. Hunters are dogs, Mr. Davies. You give them an order and they obey. That's how it works. Do they obey you? No, of course not. So Eileen will be killed according to the code, and the Winchesters will be investigated and if they're found guilty, executed. Mick says I never broke a rule, but Sam and Dean have saved people because of their sense of what's right. She says the Code is an absolute. The order by which we all live. Mick says no. The Code makes a young boy kill his best friend. I'm a man now, Dr. Hess, and I can see the choices, and I choose to do the right thing. Catch takes him out.
Sam and Dean in the morning. Worried about Cas. Eileen is gone. Heading back to Ireland. Sam hands Dean the Colt. Dean says welcome back, sweetheart.
Mick's blood on the floor. Hess says it's over. The grand experiment of recruiting American hunters has failed. Utterly. Catch asks what would you like me to do? She says exterminate them. Every. Last. One.
