BLACK SIREN RETURNS — Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy) returns to help Chase (Josh Segarra). Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) organizes a birthday party for Oliver (Stephen Amell) while Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is furious after Rene (Rick Gonzalez) misses the custody hearing for his daughter. throwing Star Killer brought to justice. Thea says looks like the Green Arrow is the hero again. And mayor approval rating is up to 70%. Quentin's off to find Rene. Oliver offers help if needed. Quentin almost forgot - happy birthday, Mr. Mayor. He leaves. Oliver continues to urge Thea to be happy. He already has birthday plans. With Felicity. It's dinner. Thea doesn't believe him, but it's cute.
He gets to the flat. Opens the door. And judo throws Curtis. Surprise! LOL. OMG, Green Arrow cake. Felicity ordered it for a 6 year old. Heh. Oliver apologizes to Curtis. Curtis has a device for Dinah. She's coming, right? Yeah. John and Oliver. Lyla and JJ are in Chicago. Doorbell. Quentin with a gift. I told you a surprise party isn't a good idea. LOL. Rene wasn't home and there are newspapers piling up. Felicity organizes a toast. Oliver thanks them all. He forgot what it's like to celebrate a birthday. What are they all going to do for summer? John will take JJ fishing. Curtis wants to see Florence. Felicity would take a Pacific Northwest drive, see the stars. Oliver needs to buy some socks. LOL. Thea says we need more cake, right? They leave Felicity and Oliver alone. He didn't know if it was.... She says we can take it one step at a time. This is hard for you. Summer vacation. he says it's borderline impossible. She tells him to relax and put his feet up. We won.
Lian Yu. Kovar has Oliver chained up in a prison. Built by the Chinese. Kovar says nothing really dies. Always echoes. You'll learn that soon enough. KGB calls this Red Death. Meant to break people with anguish. He asks Oliver for an honest answer. If you wanted to go home, why leave from here? go to hell. He says this place is called Purgatory. Injects Oliver. Oliver says you will die. Kovar says the only one dead when we're done will be you.
Curtis is worse than a shipper on a soap opera. He thinks Dinah's place was robbed. On the phone with Felicity. Looks for her. He gets knocked out. Phone and device left behind.
John and Oliver get to the apartment. Phone, but no Dinah and Curtis. And Rene didn't skip out on his daughter. Oliver says Chase is picking us off one by one. John says maybe this was the plan all along. Felicity doesn't think Evelyn is doing this by herself. Oliver finds evidence of Talia. It's time to talk to Chase.
Chase. Where are they? Adrian, where are they?! Tell me where they are. Chase says why, you won't kill me. Oliver will get them back. Chase says if that's what you're here to tell me you're wasting time. See you later.
Oliver still chained. Kovar says you embrace pain. It makes you formidable. Oliver says stop wasting my time. Oliver has a flash to old injuries. Every cut, every bullet, every wound, feeling it all at once. Am I still wasting your time?
Bunker. Freeze, Jerkwad! Sorry. Felicity is on edge. Oliver wants her here not the safe house. She says why, can run surveillance from here. Oliver needs her with him to work on saving the team from Chase. He let his guard down and shouldn't have. I knew something was wrong, knew it here, ignored it, and now everyone in love is in danger, including my son. William is the purest part of me, and now he's in danger from something the worst part of me put in motion. Alerts. Siren is out. Oliver says get the safe house on the phone now.
Thea's bored. Quentin pacing. Wants to talk to the judge on Rene's case. He won't let him lose his daughter. Comms shorting. Thea's not staying and waiting. Quentin agrees. Tranq dart in a guard. Quentin sees someone. Stop right there! turn around slowly. Laurel. Hi, Daddy. He says can't be. She says it can. Don't worry. I'll explain everything. Thea says don't take your gun off her. It's not what it seems. Evelyn drugs them. Black Siren says I'm so sorry, Daddy.
Oliver and John arrive. Felicity shows the footage. John says Evelyn was here. Oliver says Chase is trying to take my strength. He's trying to leverage our friends to make me set him free. You have to leave the state and not tell me where you're going. Chase knows how I think. If you're in danger, I'll pull you close. She asks about him. Oliver can focus on the others if he's not worrying about them. John tells him to get the son of a bitch.
Oliver in a cell on Lian Yu. Kovar says the worst pain is in the head. That's what the drug is for, to show you everything. Your sins, your failures, your guilt. Your bloodlust. Your inhumanity. Gives Oliver a gun. It only has one bullet. you can waste it on me, but we both know who is responsible for your pain. I've seen the strongest man last for 12 minutes before ending his suffering. Such is my respect for you I think you can last 14 minutes. Oliver sees Yao Fei.
Oliver attacks Chase in his cell. Points a gun on his forehead. I'm not going to kill you. I will never give you the satisfaction of being the man you think I am. you're never getting out of here. Not today, not ever. Chase says you're wrong. The only way to keep your loved ones from paying your price is to let me go. Oliver will find another way. Chase says do it quick. I'm transferred tonight. You're one loss from being destroyed. Thea. Felicity. Maybe someone else.
Quentin thinks that was Laurel. Thea's trying to convince and explain. There are parallel universes. I know it sounds crazy, but it's real, just as real as metahumans and aliens. It was a Laurel. Just not the one we know. She's very convincing. That's what Chase has brought her here to-- Door opens. Evelyn says let's go. It's a surprise.
John and Felicity in a car. She's got an intuition. A bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. we never should've left Oliver alone.
Bunker. Oliver being watched from above. He walks along the costumes.
John agrees and turns the car. This is Chase. She says what if we overthought it and Oliver's vulnerable.
Oliver throws a knife at Malcolm. They argue over William And Darhk. Malcolm apologizes and says I let my emotions get out of hand. LOL. robot hand. LOL. All I want is to save my daughter.
John and Felicity come across a ninja. She cuts the car. It goes over a pile of dirt and flips. John gets out. Helps her. Talia's ninjas take them.
Bikes arrive. Oliver and Malcolm at the crash scene. Malcolm says they were taken alive, focus! I thought you'd track your pets by now. Oliver says he had a tracker in Felicity but the nanites were disabled by an EMP. Malcolm is surprised that Oliver doesn't have enough leverage yet to free Chase. Oliver says Thea hates you. Malcolm says it doesn't matter. For your child, you'd do absolutely anything to keep them safe. Oliver thinks he needs to be isolated. Malcolm says congratulations for getting even dumber over the years. Human connections make us human. You already lived on an island, Oliver. You will always have connections. You can't escape that. If you can't accept it... Oliver gets called about the transfer. We are very capable people and we will find a way to rescue everyone.
Oliver says you're not real. Yao Fei is real enough. He died to save Oliver and what has Oliver done with that sacrifice? My daughter is dead. Lists off the others. Apologies won't bring all of them back. Everyone you've lost and all of those you have left to lose. Those closest to you are fated to suffer for your sins, but you can save them by making the same sacrifice I made for you.
Quentin quipping. Siren chains him to a wall. Your Laurel but you're not my Laurel. She says I owe my freedom to Adrian Chase and I give him my help. In exchange you won't get hurt. He says my Laurel wouldn't be that stupid. She knows it hurts to see her. You have no idea.
ARGUS taking Chase away. tick tock. Oliver says you're not pulling my strings anymore. Adrian says the moment I get on that chopper, my friends have orders to kill yours. I think you're about to get a phone call. Oliver's phone buzzes. William pleading for help in a video.
Chase into the truck. Oliver runs out and is too late. I need the van! Beats up ARGUS guys to steak it. Malcolm helps. He took your son, didn't he. How'd you know? Like minds. Here
Chase led toward the chopper. Grinning. There's an explosion. Malcolm and Oliver. It'd be easier if we could kill them. Then it's not going to be easy. Malcolm will cover Oliver. Chase starts running. To the chopper. It's raining. Oliver grabs him. Where is my son?! Why'd you involve William? That's my boy. He's innocent. Chase says so was my wife, but you involved her. Everyone you love suffers. Everyone. See you on the boat. Flies away.
bunker. Tracing the Helicopter. Oliver says it's not easy without Felicity. Malcolm says my associates thought you had computer skills. Oliver had good hardware and a purpose. Oliver called in help. Nyssa! Husband. Mr. Merlyn. Malcolm isn't happy. Fine. But does she know? One of the people we're up against is your sister. Chase's C130 went to ... I know where he's taking them.
Oliver flying the plane. Malcolm asks How would Chase know about this place? Nyssa says my father told me to visit this place. It's where I found Sara.
Please, don't. Oliver says it's better for everyone. Laurel with dark hair. He says it's the only way to make sure I don't.... She says we need you home. Please come home to me, to Thea, to your mother. If you don't, then my father and your sister will have died for nothing. He shoots the lock.
Lian Yu. The group has their hoods removed. Chase says relax, enjoy the weather. Miss Smoak. Curtis insults him. Thea asks why are we here? Chase is happy she recognizes it. Thea says Oliver is coming for us! Counting on it, Sis. Felicity says Oliver has faced worse odds before. Curtis says with you and John. Diggle agrees. Oliver can't do this alone.
Oliver says I need your help. Hi, kid. I'm glad you came back. SLADE.
Next ep - finale. Oliver has no interest in this being a fair fight.
