Episode 14:
Sam reading books and taking notes. Hear noises. Dean comes in wearing an apron. Heard that? He was making burgers. Pilot went out for the 3rd time this week. Sam is worried about Jack. They hear more noises. The AC dies. Dean says they gotta take a look. How hard can checking the old pipes be?
In the control room, Sam has the manual. Dean hits the reset button. Lights go out. Then back on.
Dean takes a burger to his room and there's a woman there. Sam!
How you've lived in this filth is beyond me. Dean yelling for Sam again. Dean found her folding his underthings. Mr. Ganum called her Mrs. Butters. She's not human. She's a wood nymph. I have much more important things to do. I live here. She was never a member. She was a helper. The cleaning, the cooking, the laundry. The Men of Letters were her boys, her family. Dean says we don't want trouble, so you can just leave. She gets upset. This is my home! I've worked for the Men of Letters since before the war! She thinks it's 1958. Dean tells her it's 2020. She asks where are the rest of the Men. Dean says the rest are dead. A demon named Abbadon killed all of them. She says that's why they didn't come back....
She was told to stay behind and guard the bunker. She put the bunker in standby mode. In runes.
She wipes tears. Never dreamed it'd take this long to be reactivated. The boys are apologetic. She says it's fine. I'm sure it's been an age since you've had a homecooked meal or had a holiday or oh....washed your clothes. Dean says this whole time....we've worked on half power? She says the Men used her magic to fuel the bunker. She snaps and it's up. Monster radar. There's a nest of vampires nearby. You can clear that out and be back for supper. Dean is thrilled. Sam questions whether they can trust her. Dean believes it. Having .....her is almost required. Let's go check the nest. Sam wonders about Jack.
Dean knocks at Jack's door. Tells him they have to head out, but we have a guest. She's probably harmless, but watch yourself. Give us a call. She's making cookies. Snickerdoodles.
Sam wonders if it's a good idea to have her around. God, Amara, Jack..... Dean says I'm a picture of health. Ignoring your trauma doesn't make you healthy. Sure it does. Sam thinks Jack is hiding something. Dean says he just needs time.
She made Jack a sandwich. I'll leave it outside the door in case you change your mind.
Vampires watching old TV. old Dark Shadows? Blood in a Big Swig cup. Winchesters burst in and behead them. Dean calls it a record. Monster radar rules.
They come home to Christmas! Mrs. Butters made cookies. There's a tree with a toy train around it in the lobby. Dean is gleeful. Sam still skeptical.
Mrs. Butter and Sam. She wants him to smile. We have so much lost time to make up for! I make a mean apple cranberry sauce. Jack arrives. She asks what are you? Dean walks in wearing a nightshirt. Flashes Sam! Best gift ever. Mrs. Butter says Jack must be starving. Here. Try this. You'll love it. She gives Dean tomato juice. I'm worried about your cholesterol. Alarm goes off.
Dean hurries to his room to change. Sam grabs his jacket. Mrs. B made them sack lunches. They leave.
Chatting with Jack. Your father is Lucifer. What's that like? Jack didn't know him. Only family I've had is Sam, Dean, Cas, and Mary. Mary was Sam and Dean's mom. She was a good friend. Mrs. Butters says she sounds lovely. Jack says she was....but I killed her. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. Mrs. B says we all do things we're not proud of. But, life gives us second chances and it's our obligation to hold on to them. Understand? Would you like another smoothie?
Dean happy in the halls. Boys take lunches to another hunt.
Thanksgiving dinner.
Another hunt and more sack meals.

4th of July BBQ.
Off to another hunt. A streetsweeper and Thor's hammer?!
Birthday. Dean wants rice crispy treats on his turn. LOL.
Jack sees Mrs. B at the filing cabinet. He addresses her. Asks for another smoothie. Anything for my boys. She leaves the room. He looks for what she was looking at. Her classified file. There's a film reel. He plays it. Sinclair on File 5150. Mrs. Butters destroyed 200 men before she was restrained. They react violently when home or family are threatened. She's agreed to join the family for service and security. They have a man of the Thuul. Interrogated and of no more use. She kills him, taking off his head. Then she asks if they would like tea or cookies.
**5150 is the hospital code for taking someone in who is mentally ill. IOW, you're temporarily committed.
Jack looking for Sam. Mrs. Butters says Sam has a big date. Sam dressed up. She says he looks dashing. Dean teases him. Eileen's in town. Mrs. Butters keeps telling Dean to clean up his mouth. She tells Sam to take one of the cars in the garage and gives him roses. Have fun! Then tells Dean to be nicer to his brother. Why would I do that? She fixed the TV. Dean's thrilled. Jack follows her.
I know what you are. I saw the film. She asks how it made him feel. She says you enjoyed seeing that dog's death. You relished his pain. Didn't you, Jack. He figures she wanted him to find the film. Is this a test? Sam and Dean know how powerful you are? They should be scared of you. Jack says I'd never hurt them. She says you have before. Now I'm here, they'll never have to worry about you again. She's protecting her family. She nullified his power with her smoothies and cuffs him. You are as weak as a puppy. Why? To make the Bunker safe again. To get rid of all the monsters!
Dean is starving. She has the meal waiting. You'll need your strength so we can kill Jack. I've got him trapped downstairs. I will not let what happened to the others happen to you. Dean says we had a good thing going, but you had to go Nurse Ratchet. She doesn't know what that means. But you don't have to be afraid of Jack anymore. He says we'll go downstairs, let Jack go, and forget this ever happened. She tosses Dean in with Jack and locks the door. He's infected you like the serpent in the garden. Just like his father!
Sam comes home. A bit past curfew, Samuel. He asks about Jack and Dean. She has good news and some bad news.
Jack has taken over Dean's mind? And they're downstairs, right now, ready to be killed by us... Yes. Sam is glad she caught them. He'll get his gun in his room and meet her downstairs. Wonderful! She asks about his date.
Sam calls Dean in his room. Dean didn't call to interrupt. It's been a while for you, man. LOL. Will shooting her even work? They were going to look into it, and then Christmas, and Thanksgiving, and breakfast on Boxing Day. Dean suggests going to the boiler room. If pressing Standby....
Jack wants to use his power, but no. He asks Dean do you think I'm a monster? Dean says it's not easy to forgive. But I won't let some evil Mary Poppins take you out. Understand?
Sam looking for Mrs. Butters. She stops the gun. She's disappointed in him. Sticks him in a chair. After Mr. Cuthbert explained it to me, keeping you boys safe was the most worthwhile job in the world. But because you're my favorite, I won't give up on you yet. I'll make you understand just the way Mr. Cuthbert did on me.
Dean hits the cuffs. Blasts Jack back. They can't come off without the key. Sam should've been here by now. Dean has another idea.
Mrs. B insists Jack is a monster. Sam says Jack is a kid, a kid who's gone from one tragedy to another. She says he's not a kid. He has blood on his hands and I can smell it. Cuthbert taught her pain can be a wonderful teacher. She peels Sam's fingernail off. Owwww.
Dean says pain is weakness leaving the body. Blasts Jack out the door to free them.
She keeps working on Sam. Accept this and we can be done!
Dean hits the button downstairs. Red lights and alarms. She's gone.
But the runes glow. The bunker shakes. Pipe bursts. She's free and pissed.
You've all been very bad! I'm not going to fail, not again! You thought you could destroy our family! I'm going to stop you from hurting them! Sam says you hurt him, you hurt us. She keeps insisting. She couldn't go home because of the monsters. Sam says Cuthbert used you. Lied to you. Tortured you. Dean says Jack can save the world. That's the whole mission. He can do exactly that. Lights come back up. She misses the Men so much. Weeps. Jack looks like he has an idea.
She heals Sam's hand. Apologizes. About everything. Jack says it's okay. Really. Sam brings up how she wanted to go home. She'd love to see the woods again, see the sun streaming through the trees. You boys would love it. Jack says then it's settled.
She's packed. Without my magic, the bunker will go back on standby mode. The interdimensional geoscope doesn't work anymore. Oh. That's not good. Jack gives her the photo of the Men. Dean, eat your vegetables. Sam, cut your hair. Jack, go save the world. Goodbye, boys.
Sam and Jack at the table. If there's anything you want to talk about. Jack knows. I'm supposed to kill God and she got me. I was stupid and...... Sam, do you really think I can do this? Sam says you're the only one that can. Dean wearing the apron. Brings a dish. It's a birthday cake for Jack. He made it himself. Jack says it's great. Lights a candle. Sam says make a wish. Jack pauses, then blows out the candle.
