“Beast of Times, Worst of Times”
VINCENT AND CAT END UP ON OPPOSITE SIDES – Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) discover that there is another nemesis out to get Vincent, which brings the gang closer together in more ways than one. Cat and Vincent are forced on opposite sides of the law, which puts their relationship in jeopardy. Austin Basis, Nina Lisandrello, Michael Roark, and Nicole Gale Anderson also star. Episode 6:
Shower scene! Vincent under the water. Mmmmm. Cat touches his shoulder and he's jumpy. She's definitely unarmed. Mind if I frisk you? Hee. She wants to live in one moment they were normal. JT pounds on the door. Tess and Heather are also waiting. Vincent doesn't let Cat leave the shower. Bow chicka bow wow....
Everyone trying to make breakfast at the same time in JT's place. JT can't find his slippers. Tess is wearing JT's shirt that's actually Vincent's shirt, lol. Heather hasn't seen her boyfriend in a week. Cat says we have to do what Hill said. Heather finds something on TV. News talking about DHS cover-up of creatures in NYC. Cat and Vincent pull on jackets to leave. Cat tells Heather to go live with Kyle for the weekend.
DHS. Hill is under official investigation. He's still covering for them. Gives them a file. Major Fuller. Colonel now. Vincent's CO in Afghanistan. He tried to kill every soldier in the program. DHS can't arrest him without proof. Cat says get us the device and we'll make it happen.
Vincent says no way. She says why not? He says I'd have to break into the command center and no one gets in or out without high level clearance. You're asking me to confront my past and I don't know if I can do that now. Cat thinks someone's tailing them. She speeds up. Reporter following them. Cat drives evasively. Can't shake the van. Vincent gets out of the car. Releases pipes in the road to slow them. Then speeds back into the car. Cat's pleased.
Cat and Vincent at her office. Heather got Vincent's old uniform. But Kyle's downstairs. Vincent says have fun, use a condom, lol. Heather wants to know what the plan is. Vincent's still grumpy about it. Cat says it's better if you know nothing about it, Heather. Heather caves. Worry about Vincent. Something going on with him. Cat asks him what's bothering him so much? Vincent trusted those guys like family, and Fuller stared him in the face and pulled the trigger. What if I can't control my feelings? You won't be there to stop it. Cat gets an idea.
JT working on the military surveillance system. He got Cat access to all of it. Tess hugs him big time. Tess apologizes. There's a call. Unknown caller. Tess answers as Professor Forbes' office, please hold. JT takes the phone. Dr. Peretti interview at Tanarushi. Tess thinks it's a trap. She tells them he'll be at a restaurant in one hour. Hangs up. He's not happy to go undercover.
Capt. Chandler at the check-in booth. They let Vincent in. He parks the Jeep.
Cat is confronted in the office. Agent Murphy and Agent Tran from DHS IA need to talk now.
Vincent can't reach Cat on the comm. He sees Fuller. Flashes back to memories. Salutes at Fuller passes. Tells Catherine if you can hear me, I need you, I need you right now.
Vincent sees that Fuller has the key card on him. New plan.
They ask Cat what his relationship is with DHS. We know he's a lot more than a doctor. Hill has been covering up Vincent's PTSD. Your husband is an unstable war vet.
JT and Tess waiting for the meet. Tess tells him to chill out. Got you covered. A woman approaches him. She's read all his research. Tess says it's a trap. JT wasn't expecting someone so young. He asks if it's an actual interview. She says his research is exactly what they're looking for. Interested is an understatement. They sit to talk.
Vincent confronts Fuller. Takes his gun. Fuller says he didn't send anyone to kill him. If I wanted you dead, you would be.
Cat says there's no basis to Hill's claims. IA is persistent. They want to know where Vincent is now. Cat needs to stop him now. Hill set him up. I need to warn him he's walking into a trap.
Vincent makes Fuller walk to access Command. They get through security. Start downloading now. It's plugged in. Fuller says the hit does not exist. Vincent is skeptical. Fuller says 12 years ago I was following orders. Vincent gets mad and pulls the gun on him. Fuller says you think I missed? I never disobeyed an order until that day. You were better than the others. There's still good in you. That man didn't deserve to die.
Vincent looks into his memories. Fuller let him go.
Vincent pulls back. Fuller says whoever's trying to kill you now, it isn't me. The device starts beeping. Vincent tells Fuller to go! Get out of here, go! The servers blow up. Oh no......
**This is not going to go well. Has Hill been playing them the whole time, or is he forced to do this to Vincent now? Blackmail?
Vincent wakes. Gets to his feet. Fuller moans. Vincent gets debris off him.
Hill arrives at Cat's office. He says DHS has all the info they need on Vincent Keller for now. I'll do all I can to help you through your loss. Take her to DHS for debriefing.
Fuller tells Vincent to get away from the base. Vincent patches him up. Fuller tells him to go.
JT and the woman still chatting. Tess pulls him away. She got an alert about the bomb at the base.
Heather sees the news. Tells Kyle she can't go. He asks why. She doesn't know. He wants to be let in. She's really worried about her sister and has to go. Sorry. I know how much it sucks to be out of the loop. She kisses him and runs.
Vincent arrives at her office and Hill shoots him with a tranq. I knew you'd come for her. You always do. Vincent passes out asking where is she???
Vincent awake and tied to a chair. Hill brought him to a private warehouse. Vincent is chained to the ground. Hill says Vincent was the target. I don't know who put a bounty on your head, but my whole career is on the line. This has to be real. Synthesized adrenaline. Vincent says my control is the only think keeping you alive right now.
Cat begs to be with Vincent now. Hill doesn't understand. She breaks free. Hoping to save Hill's life, which is more than he'd do for Vincent. She runs off.
JT and Tess get to the office. JT spots the tranq. Tess was jealous at the interview. JT pushes her to admit it. She says my feelings haven't changed but neither have you. Cat calls. Find Vincent. Hill planted that bomb. The Feds suck. Cops chasing her.
Vincent injected. Again. Hill says sorry this time it had to be me. Vincent tells him to run before it's too late. Hill says he needs to do this. Attack me! Come on! Do it! Vincent breaks free and Beasts.
Cat gets there. Finds Vincent holding up Hill by the throat. She yells at him to stop. He snaps his neck. Still Beasted. Then runs. Cops find her with the body. She's crying in disbelief and dismay.
The apartment. Cat packing a go bag for Vincent. Heather helping. JT arrives. Vincent might have a hard time calming down. You should take this. Cat finally agrees. Tess calls and says Vincent is a person of interest now. She tells Cat that she'll be charged as an accomplice to everything if she's caught. Cat knows.
Heather says you'd tell me if this is goodbye, right? Of course. Reporter asks Cat for comments. No comment. No comment. Reporter is persistent. Where's your husband? Cat tells her to stay away from me and my husband. The van follows Cat. And Heather put bananas up the tail pipe. JT cites Beverly Hills Cop and Heather's never heard of it. Oh god.....
Cat at the old meet-up place. Looking for Vincent. Tranq gun in hand. He appears. I'm so sorry. They hug. She says everything will be okay. He says how? After what I just became? She says Hill didn't give you a choice. It's not your fault. What will we do? He doesn't know. We'll find a way. She says we've been through worse, right? He says I wish that were true. I'm never letting you go, so we have to find a way. Sirens.
Next week - Vincent won't let her help. So Cat sets up a trap? He can't believe she'd do this to him, to us. Whoa......hope that's misleading!
