Episode 9:
Semi heads to the landing zone.
Mack watching. 6 min until impact. Local law enforcement on standby. YoYo takes the Quinjet. Mack doesn't think this adds up. What are we missing?
Sarge giving Jocko and Pax orders. They discuss how to stop YoYo. She's a pain in the ass. Sarge says once the field goes up, no one enters or leaves. Jocko asks about Snowflake. Sarge says she couldn't make it out in time. Let's get ourselves a new spaceship.
FitzSimmons 5 minutes out. Fitz can't transmit signals. Jemma sees the crew downstairs. That's not normal. Are they infected? Maybe it's a puff party. No. They lack joy. They agree that can't go on Earth. Then they see Izell walk through them. Jemma asks does the crew seem to be feeling okay? She says they're not feeling anything. I gave them a higher purpose. She won't infect them. You underestimate your value. You're so rare in this galaxy. She says wait and see what we build on your planet.
Deke with the bomb. 3 minutes to collision. Snow's muttering. Deke asks her about the bomb. It's an atom bomb. I hear it's pretty. May tells Deke to focus. Daisy tells him if there's anyone who can do it, it's you. Deke tells himself time to dazzle.
Zephyr. Sarge and crew taking over. Jocko shot an agent. Sarge says You didn't see this one coming. Mack knew there was an exit strategy. Sarge sets the field. Handcuffs Mack to a railing. Follow orders. If not, I put her out of her misery. Turn the ship around. Mack orders Davis to get them out of here.
Semi plowing through a field. Deke working on the bomb. He says I can't do it. This is happening. I'm sorry. I tried. Snow is not fine. Not fine at all. Deke goes to comfort her. Semi almost there. Daisy grabs the bomb.
Semi crashes through the crystal tower. Daisy's quaking the bomb intact. Well, that worked. Deke says free spa day for everyone on me! May says we're not out of this, yet.
Sarge is not happy the bomb didn't go off.
Izell feels it's been destroyed. We're in danger, and now you are, too. Fitz says we have no idea what's happening on Earth. Jemma says we have friends that can help. Izell says make contact now while you can still talk. Either Earth is more hostile than I thought or he's already here.
Sarge tells Davis to chase the spacecraft.
Pax vs YoYo. He says we've taken the bridge.
Mack suggests regrouping with their people on the ground first. Sarge tells him to shut up. Jocko wants Snow's help. She's been with us for years. Pax at the field tied up. Sarge says don't take the bait. He hits the field and is hurt. Sarge shoots him. Jocko on the other side of the field. Sarge says no one slows us down. Handle her. No one slows us down.
May and Daisy. They open the door to check the outside. Shrike bats flying around. Close the door. They don't know how long the trailer can keep them out without the repeller.
FitzSimmons. Fitz asks if anyone changed the distress code. No. Jemma says this is SHIELD 226, does anyone copy?
Davis answers. Also with SHIELD 226. Jemma suggests he's mixed up his call signs. He says no, I'm 226, just like you. Sarge holding a gun to his neck. Davis asks her if she's on the ship. Sarge takes the comm and threatens Izell. She says So you finally remember my name. Come for me and I'll help you remember yours.
Why does that sound like Coulson? Izell and Sarge bicker on the comm. He's the one that destroyed Chronica. She says people fantasize about doing something heroic, but in the end they save their own skin. She doesn't want to destroy him. But if she has to. He says she took everything from him. Then you stole my memories. She says you never had any to begin with.
Izell grabs Fitz. He explains about Coulson. Izell thinks they're lying. Fitz and Jemma take guns and run. Now where? He has an idea but she won't love it.
Trailer. May tells everyone to grab a blade. Don't let anything near the bomb. One gets through a window and May stabs it before it can enter Deke.
YoYo handcuffs Jocko. He breaks them. I'm trying to save your planet. We all make sacrifices. She says how's that strategy working out? Save many planets lately? He says Sarge is doing the best he can. He wasn't always a killer. She says and you were a baker.
Sarge wants to go faster. Mack taunts him. It's been a rough day for your master plan. By the end of the day, I'm getting my plane back. Mack attacks Sarge. They fight. Mack gets Sarge in a choke hold. Sarge gets out of it. They keep slugging. Mack beats on him. Stand down. Jocko comes back. it's over, Sarge. Mack knocks Sarge out. Toldja.
Sarge in the box. Mack and YoYo making plans. Davis, too. Sarge wants to go. I have to do this. You don't understand what you're up against. YoYo says that's why we're bringing Jocko along. But thanks, anyways.
Welding holes shut. Daisy tells May to protect the bomb. I'm letting them in. She opens the door. Choke point. Bats coming. They disintegrate as they near. Snow asks if all the females on your planet this powerful? May says they are.
Fitz tells Jemma she smells nice. They're hiding.
SHIELD breaks into Izell's ship. Davis offers to take point. Me and the ship go way back. YoYo wonders about the crew. Jocko hears her. Mack says capture, not kill. Go with caution. Jocko shoots a crewman. Mack says good call once the guy gets back up.
Fitz and Simmons happy to hear SHIELD. Then YoYo and Mack rescue them from crew. Mack squeezing Fitz. LOL.
Davis and Jocko looking around. Davis says don't pursue under any circumstances. Jocko says we can end this. Davis says take the stairs. I'll go around. And she's gone. Crewman comes in. Jocko tosses him.
They meet up with the rest of the team. We need to go. Now they need another way out. Now what? Simmons likes Jocko. He opened a doorway.
Is that more Shrike? It's the team! Deke hugs Fitz. Who doesn't know him. How did you get here? The big guy. Jocko has the nuke. Tell Sarge I completed the mission. YoYo says you don't have to do that for him. Jocko says I'm doing this for me. Snow says no. He says don't worry. I'll be a butterfly.
Jocko reenters the ship with the bomb. Crew coming. He fire breathes. Then the ship explodes.
Party in SHIELD. Daisy says a lot of new faces here. Mack says they're coming together. Helps to keep the fridge stocked. He wants stories of deep space. She says ocean of lava. She points out he's been staring at YoYo.
YoYo asks May how she's holding up. May regrets not killing Sarge right away. YoYo reminded Jocko of what he was fighting for. They toast him.
Davis and Piper. Piper busting his chops again. Davis falls asleep.
Deke thought Fitz was dead. Fitz tossing darts. Deke says you look younger or something. He's rambling. You proved my multiverse theory is right. Keeps calling me Bobo. Deke shows him photos of his company. Then says Scotland! I want to learn everything! I could buy us a castle. There's someone I want you to meet. Simmons hands Fitz another beer.
Sarge moved through. Says it wasn't personal, Snow. Deke comforting her. Daisy asks for a minute. Why isn't she in lock up? Deke asks why would she be? Daisy says she's a murderer. Deke thinks she's jealous. Daisy says it's about the murder. Could someone lock her up now? Mack calls for a toast. Davis still out. Mack salutes those beginning and those long here. To those lost and those who stand by us at our best and our worst. Without every single one of you, there's no SHIELD. Cheers.

FitzSimmons on a couch. Piper trolling Davis.

YoYo's room. Mack asks to come in. She asks if everything is alright? He wants to say a few things. I can be slow some times. There are, um, situations that, um, will get complicated..... YoYo says it's been a good night. Mack says I screwed up. With you. I screwed up. We've been through Hell and back, both of us, and I figured if I got you off my mind, it'd make me a better Director. Clear headed. Even handed. She asks if it helped? He says you're always on my mind. He knew she was safe today. Didn't have to worry. She always told him that. He is asking for a chance to earn forgiveness eventually. Well, goodnight. She shuts the door. Says we can take it slow. Kisses him and backs him into the door.
Sarge's cell. May visits. He says get to it. She shoots him repeatedly! 4 times.
Next ep - May doesn't remember shooting Sarge. Mack is locking the lighthouse. Izell is here!
