“You Can’t Run From Who You Are”
INSPIRATION — After receiving some inspiration from Cleo (guest star Omono Okojie), Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) set out on a new mission. However, when that plan takes an unexpected turn, Josie (Kaylee Bryant) and Wade (guest star Elijah B. Moore) step in to lend a hand. Elsewhere, Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) enlists MG’s (Quincy Fouse) help learning more about Finch (guest star Courtney Bandeko). Matthew Davis, Chris Lee, Ben Levin, and Leo Howard also star. Trevor E.S. Episode 11:
Cleo guided into meditation. Let the inspiration flow out of you. And it doesn't seem to work. Next is Mind Meld, number 10 on the list. Jed stares at her. He says we summon a time travel monster and stop Malivore from being born. Lizzie had a fashion emergency, so she's not there. Ric says maybe Cleo needs to focus on something that inspires her. Landon notices something when Cleo giggles. Hope now has an idea. Ric has an idea to look at old records about the artifact. Cleo wants to go, so Kaleb wants to go, too.
Landon asks what the plan is. Hope setting up a chalk circle. She wants to make a deal with the Necromancer. Free him from the prison world. Don't worry, I'll screw him over. And she's using astral projection, so, safe. Landon convinces her to take him along.
MG has Finch in the barn of the family his sidekick is staying with. Go to school and act normal. They still don't have superhero names. He leaves. Lizzie appears. You've been playing dress up with a Muggle.
Josie in the school. Hearing noises. Walking armor! But it's just Wade. Where is everyone? He stayed behind to defend the school during a 3 day weekend. Josie was looking for Lizzie for advice. Wade offers to lend an ear. She takes his crystal.
MG pleads his case with Lizzie. But she needs his help. Josie has a serious crush on this she-wolf. Finch has already activated her curse. Finch says she's never killed anyone. She chains herself up. She thought she was the only werewolf existing. Lizzie reveals she's a witch. Finch insists she didn't kill anyone. Lizzie needs proof.
Hope makes her offer to Necro. Landon talking in Necro's voice. Pretty good impression! Landon tells her to project confidence and Necro won't stand a chance. They enter ruins. Necro found a way out? Don't think he made it. There are PIECES.
Sure this is him? Wow, something actually killed the Necromancer. We wait and then he'll resurrect. What do you think got him? Malivore? Something crawls down from the ceiling and starts eating Necro's arm.
Josie with her crystal. Picturing who I want to talk to. Whoa, Dark Josie! Miss me?
Ric and the kids search. Ric turns the lights on. Control panel with two fire suppression systems. One here, and one elsewhere. There's a sarcophagus casket. Why would it be left behind? Ric figures out where the switch is for the hidden doorway. They enter. Lots of file cabinets. Triad's docs on all supernatural objects.
MG tells Finch about the head dive. We can be witnesses to your memories. Finch calls Lizzie the evil twin. And tells MG to do it.
Dark Josie says she's been hiding inside. No, you're so gullible. I'm your subconscious. Josie didn't want to talk to her. And yet, here I am. I known all your weaknesses and exactly what's wrong with you. But if you don't want to talk to me, drop the prism. That's what I thought - let's chat.
MG asks Finch to think of the first day she turned. Why are they in a hospital? Lizzie thinks it's the perfect place to find victims. But Finch is a little girl in that hospital. A nurse comes to get her from a hallway chair.
The monster can't see them. But Landon feels its breath. And it grabs him. Hope attacks it and breaks its neck. That was close. Landon calls attention to her arm. Which is wounded and nasty now! Like the skin of that monster.
**Hmm, that thing seems to have infected Hope when it cut her sleeve and arm?
That doesn't look good. Hope says it's astral, so it can't carry to my physical body. The monster gets up again! Hope sends Landon home. Dammit, Hope. But he sees the infection on her REAL arm!
Dark Josie says you'll never have that happy human life you want. The fault lies in you. Ask me why? I never said you couldn't have a happy life. You can't have a real relationship if you're suppressing an essential part of yourself. You asked a question to a crystal that lets you talk to yourself. Why? You already knew the answer. Landon opens the door. I need your help.
Ethan hears an issue on the police scanner and goes alone.
Young Finch goes to a patient. Her dad or grandpa. You need to know something about our family. Some call it a curse. But it's also a blessing. Before I go, I can help make you strong. Then you'll always be able to protect yourself. Bring me my special candies from my coat. A pill bottle. Tonight, when the full moon rises, head to the basement and don't tell anybody where you are. He takes the pills.
Lizzie apologizes to Finch. Finch says you made me remember the only person that ever cared about me. What kind of monster are you? She runs away.
Josie says it's like a magical infection. Landon says sending me back was the magical equivalent of hold my purse. LOL.
Wade knows what it is! It's a DND monster. How does one go about curing a Burbalang bite. It bit Hope? They're like living viruses. Filipino legend. If you're bitten, it's only a matter of time before you turn into one. Hope stands in the circle and she's NOT right. Then lunges at them!
They barricade themselves in the kitchen. Grab bait to trap her in the dungeon until they can figure out how to fix her. Wade says they only have 1 hour until her transformation is permanent. Landon still finds her attractive. LOL
Kaleb keeps failing at flirting with Cleo. He proposes a date. She passes. He asks what he needs to do. She says drop the act and be honest. Is that something you are capable of? Ric found something!
Josie tells Hope to fight it. Landon is what she wants - run!
Lizzie tells Finch we know you didn't hurt anyone on purpose. There might be a way to fix it. Memory blocks. Make you forget what happened with your grandpa and all of today, if you want. Finch can't trust anyone. Has to look out for herself. Too bad. I really liked Josie.
Josie calls up Dark Josie to read Sanskrit. To stop a person from becoming a Burbulang, you need a pearl handled weapon. But you also need a witch. And fae magic won't cut it. If you're so strong, why are you afraid of your own power? And if you're so good, how can you let your friend turn into a monster? Tick-tock, Jo.
**Memory block only works so far. If Finch learns about other wolves, she'll learn how they come to be, and then she'll have questions about herself.
And wow, handing a prescription to her grandfather when she didn't even know what it was still is enough to trigger the curse? What a horrible thing he put on a little girl that would be an orphan.
Hope blocks Landon from the door. Wade intercepts. But she easily tosses him aside. Josie holds her coin. Blows Hope at the fireplace. They have to stab Hope in the heart with the dagger.
Ric found that DaVinci made the artifact. Kaleb says So we can get out of here now? Ric heard. Girl trouble. Maybe tell her why you came on the trip. Kaleb says because I like being around her. Do you smell something burning? Fire system triggered. The parchment melts and is ruined! Who activated that? Cleo? She wasn't with them.
Wade takes the dagger. He's defender of the school right now. We all know how much Hope means to this place, to all of us. Landon takes it and stabs her. She drops into his arms. Come on, Hope. Come back to me. She moans. Worst date ever. Heh.
Ric and kids return to the school. That was a fun car ride. Quiet. Kaleb finally confesses it's not easy to be vulnerable. Like admitting the real reason I went on the mission. I wanted to have your back in case Malivore sent another monster after you. She thanks him for the honesty. He says the last time I was vulnerable with someone, I ended up dead. And became a vampire. She has a free evening. It's a date. She starts upstairs.
Hope tells Landon he was great today. He wants her to count on him. She does. She knew he'd figure out what the monster was. Divide and conquer. Standard power couple stuff. But this should make up for it. DND game. Josie enters. Hope leaves the table.
Lizzie asks MG if he'll come back. He's not ready. And she won't rat him out. He doesn't want to compel Ethan, but doesn't like lying to Ric. She says playing superhero with a human is probably a terrible idea, but who am I to judge? I should stop pretending I know the answer all the time. you make the right call. You always do. What should I do about Josie? Tell her the truth. Finch was wrong about one thing. You are not a monster. Everything you did today was to protect someone you love. People should feel lucky to be one of those people.
Ric on the phone with Dorian. The fire suppression system turned the parchment to dust. Project Pandora.
MG looking for Ethan in the barn. He wants to tell the truth. But he finds Ethan beat up!
Hope was glad Josie was here today. I wanted to apologize. Josie says it was time. I let the dark part of me win and I don't want to run from it anymore. Will you move back? Not sure. Wade wants to talk to Hope for a minute. Have you noticed anything strange about Landon since he got back? He forgot about our favorite campaign. And the Burbalang only eats dead flesh. He also stabbed you in the heart after you called him a liar. He'd never hurt you. There's something wrong with him.
Next week - Landon was lifting 300 pounds on the bench. Hope tries to talk to him about being different.
